Brunette - I didn't even think about how having twins would impact on your NTS, very silly of me! I will suggest to you though NOT TO GOOGLE TOO MUCH when you get your results back - wait until you talk to your OB. Our results were fine (eventually!) but in the interim my OB thought the measurement was on the higher end of normal and even called a specialist to see what they thought (this was before my blood results were in). I of course panicked and worried and spent the entire time anxious until finally our results came back okay. Even so, compared to some of the younger girls on the thread I know our 'risk' was much greater than theirs though within acceptable limits. A very long winded way of saying don't worry too much (I hope I haven't made you feel worse!).
KitKat - there's not that much to see that early on, they all look like blobs, but you should still be able to see the heart beat and that's the best part of that scan! So I wouldn't worry about having the scan at 6 weeks rather than 7 - just enjoy
Chrissy - pregnancy yoga sounds great, I wish i'd started it sooner, well actually at all! I was going to do it this term but the classes I wanted to go to clashed with our antenatal classes and I would have missed too much and I figure it's a bit late to start going at 35 weeks...!
Renee - glad you're feeling a little better xx
Leabie - like the new ticker! Always good to have a laugh about what we're all going through
To all the girls worried about not putting on any weight - it didn't really happen for me until later on in the first trimester, and even then by my 12 week scan i'd put on just under 2 kgs. I'm now almost 35 weeks and have put on about 14 kgs, so it does happen eventually, don't you worry...!
AFM - my sister has given me a new nickname - buttercup! I was telling her that I was a bit freaked out last night because for the first time I noticed I was leaking colostrum!! I know that for some ladies on here it's been happening for ages, and I know it's perfectly normal so not sure why i'm so weirded out by it, but there's something about liquid coming out of my boobs before the baby is even born I just find a bit freaky!! Good old sis decided I was now as good as a cow, hence the nick name buttercup...
Anyway ladies, hope you're all having a lovely weekend and belly rubs to all xx
