Thanks Renee and Maggiepie for the welcome and reassurance. It's so nice to talk about it when so few people know....I have told a few who knew we had had a BFN last month because it really got me down and it was kinda obvious something was going on. My parents are overseas till mid August so that's been easy and DHs parents live overseas so again easy to keep secret.
Juniper HI! I remember you from previous 2ww forums over my time on BB. Didn't register you were also in Brissy. Gorgeous day to be in the parklands. Thank you for the info re. slowing once no.s get to 1000...didn't know that. Do you really think they're quite high for that period of time?? I value everyone's opinion on this...who knows better than women who have lived, breathed and read this forum :-)
To answer your question, the clinic had to defrost 2 embies (our last 2). One was apparently not looking to good, the other much better. My FS is quite against twins, he says due to escalated risks to mum n bubs. As desperate as we are to become parents, we'd like to start with one :-) HOWEVER... he said, no point in throwing embie away, might as well pop it in...it really is v. unlikely to take.
This happened last month also............. now I just assumed that those no.s were definately not high enough for twins...in fact I thought the 200 initially fell into the lower category of the QML 's weekly hCG window. As my GP pointed out the low and high figures for each week encompass a huge range.
But.... I need to ask other people's opinions/experience. Maybe I should research on BB older posts. Or will that freak me out? ? ?
Sorry for blethering on and on! Hope it makes sense. Finally, if my FET was on 12th July, how far gone does that make me. It was a natural cycle, so take it from first day of LMP? - 17th June.????
