Meredith I can only imagine how hard this all must be for you.

I have to say though that based on my experiences with my 2 girls that I think the longer the bub can cook the better. But having said that, your ob sounds a lot like mine, very easy going and relaxed if things are OK. I know if my ob had suggested that I needed to have Emma early for any reason I would have done it - but I still would have been not happy about repeating the whole NICU experience that we had with DD1, just like you are worried about. Not much help to you really I know, but I just wanted to give an understanding shoulder and say that while our early days with DD1 were no picnic, we were never really worried about her getting through OK them either.
