Ferrals - I forgot to respond to you last night..... I was EXACTLY the same during my 1st af. I cried and cried and asked mum if it was always so gross. (also only 11) Then my older sister came to the rescue with a pack of tampons. I've never looked back, lol. I think your perspective is awesome when it comes to snapping out of a crappy mood. I should be the same, really....... I'm taking this baby home! I think the fear of the unknown is getting to me a bit. I've never brought a baby home before. I should just relax... I have 3 nephews, a niece and an adopted niece..... plus 3 younger cousins. I have been around plenty of babies in my time. That's what I'll tell myself. 'Been there, done that... I just get to keep this one'. Oh, and *PINCH* yep, it's real.

Alish - LOL, yeah we get a bit crazy in here sometimes. No our car isn't a turbo, and it's silver..... but wow, pretty similar anyway! We stumbled across ours at the car auctions when we were 'just looking' and I instantly sold my car to get it.. lol. We're actually considering selling again though as it's quite expensive to maintain (as I'm sure you know........) and it really guzzles the juice. I'm not sure if you should be travelling all this way up to the GC a week before your due date either..... sorry! I assume you'd be driving?? Sounds a bit scary to me but I'm a worrier... hehe. good luck for today!!!!!!!!

Possum - Thanks for the advice. Funnily enough, in my panicky state I forgot about everything I read which does say your mind kind of shuts down to a certain extent, so I'll just hold onto that knowledge to comfort me, hehe. I have actually read the book called 'active birth'. Maybe I should give it another going over.... So good to hear everything is peachy with your little peach, hehe. I remember wishing I felt more pg, and just dying to be HUGE and pg....... now I'm kind of missing the days of being slim and trim and having my body to myself! Can't win, eh?

Mildez - Ooooh I got a little shiver when you called me the most pregnantest, lol. I am feeling a bit out of sorts still, kind of queasy, but hungry at the same time (reminds me of the 1st trimester) and DEFINITELY ready to get this baby out. Since you're in the mood for cleaning will you come and sweep my floors???? Please? I'm pathetic and huge and whimpering over here for some help... lol.

Kellie - I still have no idea really........ DP says he'd like a little girl because he can picture me braiding her hair and painting her nails and making her all cutesy.. lol. For a while I thought maybe a boy, but all my dreams have started to be about baby girls now, so I'm totally confused. My blood sugars have been really good, actually. I know I shouldn't be annoyed about that, but every time I have to ***** my finger for a sample, and I get a perfectly normal reading I think 'THIS IS STUPID AND POINTLESS'. lol. It only really goes above normal (by a tiny smidge) when I drink cordial, or if I forget to buy a diet softdrink when I have a fizzy craving.

Dory - LOL, yes everyone worship my glorious pregnant bump. Last night when I was getting ready for bed in my stylish bra and undies, DP looked at me and said 'Man, your belly is massive'. Hahaha. A couple of his workmates saw me too as I dropped him off in the morning and also commented on how huge I am now. I guess they haven't seen me since I was slim and trim when I worked there too, so it must be a shock for them. But yes, I am enjoying the slightly cooler weather, it's especially nice at night time. I'll be sure to give my bump a big rub in your honour lol.

AFM - So I logged into facebook this morning to see what was new. And was SHOCKED to see my old boss has posted publicly on my wall trying to chastise me for my 'comments' about my baby shower. UM, EXCUSE ME, B***H?! How dare she judge me for being p................. off. She was one of the ones who didn't even bother to respond to my invite, so I assume this is her guilty conscience talking. I told her in no uncertain terms that I wasn't impressed by her intrusion, and that I will feel how I want, say what I want and BOLLOCKS to them. (worded much more elegantly of course.) I'm still just blown away she thought she had the right to 'tell me off' for feeling upset and disappointed! Typical of her though really, she always was patronizing, and when I had my mc, she expected me at work the very next day. She also told me it 'wasn't meant to be', and that 'there was probably something wrong with it so you wouldn't have wanted it anyway'..... oh and the best one? 'That's nothing. My sister had 5 mc's before she brought home a baby'. All this was told to me while I sat and cried hysterically in her office. Yeah. I'm sure you're all thinking of some choice swear words right now.

Anyhoo I'm so irritated by this I'm going to have a lie down for a bit and try to forget about her. In other news, I got stuck in bed last night when I needed to pee because my belly was sore. I think I woke up in the middle of a BH, because I couldn't get up on my own without squealing a bit... lol. DP luckily didn't hear me, I tried to be quiet. For a minute there I thought I might have to wake him to get him to roll me out of bed.
