Felt the flutters at 14 weeks exactly and kicks at 19 weeks. Pretty good for a first-timer with an anterior placenta I think LOL!

Flossie, it's completely normal to go a few days with feeling anything in the earlier stages.

I first felt Briley move when i was 19 weeks. Its was'nt flutters as a lot of you describe it though. It was more like spasms for me. Like when your lip or your eye has a spasm. IYKWIM!!!!!

I am 14 weeks today and have been feeling the same movement since about 2 weeks ago. I am not sure wether this is the baby moving or its just by tummy muscles having spams.

It is really hard to diferentiate cause even after Briley was born i still felt those movements inside me for a long time. Even right up to when i fell pregnant this time. Obviously it was'nt her moving, but the feelings i got when she was inside me i still get.

So yeah its really hard for me too say this time round!!! I can't wait till i can actually say that it definately is the baby moving. Movement is one of the best things about being pregnant!!!

I got my first kicks at 19w1d!! The day before I had my scan and was told the placenta was anterior but low lying so didnt expect to get anything soon. It was amazing and it was felt from outside too!

From the inside I felt flutters from about 15 weeks and from 17 weeks I could feel tiny movements from the outside...

I "think" I felt it this morning for the first time. I was resisting getting out of bed when the alarm went off and just lay there and sware I felt a little flutter in my tummy.....that woke me up LOL. Not the last time this baby will be waking me from my slumber! Can't wait to feel a good old kick (may regret saying that!).

wow. I didn't think baby could be felt on the outside yet, so presumed the little 'prodding' sensations were something else... could it be little Jelly? I've been getting this occasionally for a few weeks now, usually in the evening and early morning. How exciting.

I have felt bubbles and little flutters from from 10 weeks as I am (was!) quite slim. Then nothing for ages....just this past week though I have felt what I would describe as 'kicks'. It usually happens at the end of the day when I am lying on the couch and I can sort of feel when its about to happen. I have also started feeling movements during the day now too, when I'm sitting up or walking around. But being my first baby I'm really not 100% if it IS the baby or something else going on! Boy its frustrating!!!

I thought I felt some 'twitching' movements in my belly last Thursday night but I haven’t felt them since, so I have assumed that it wasn’t the baby. But if it was is it normal not to feel the baby for a week???

reneenay - It is very normal to not feel it very often so early. Bub's still has a lot of room to swim around in!! When he/she gets bigger, you will feel more. But lucky you for feeling something so early! I had to wait until 19wks

    Thanx Veronica
I woke up last Sunday morning with DH hugging me with his hands tightly on my belly. I asked him what he was doing because I could feel him slightly pushing in places, he said he was trying to feel the baby move hahaha! I had to tell him he has got a while to wait yet! Poor thing.

    Hi Everyone!

This is bit of an update as I only just posted... but I'm happy to say that what I'm feeling is definatley the baby!

Last night DH felt it for the first time which really convinced me that what I am feeling is the baby. It was about 10.30pm and DH just got home, and it was as if our voices woke her up as she starting wriggling from one side of my tummy to the other! We felt her moving around for about 5 minutes before getting cozy again

It was beautiful! He or she is a very active little baby! I can even feel her now while I'm sitting here typing!

mine felt like I had bad gas! Now that I think about it, I felt it, but dismissed it as nerves coz it started the week leading up to our wedding (17wks) but 18wks on our honeymoon, I felt it stronger. I'm so glad now that it actually feels like kicks and my DH can see and feel them!
