Sounds like the loser has done you a favour. From your posts, you were a single mum before now, only with the stress of a loser man upsetting you. He was drinking all YOUR money: now you can control your own finances and he will HAVE to pay some of his wages to you for maintainance.

Talk to your friends, talk to his mum. If this were DS, he'd be out on his ear and I'd be looking after DiL over him. His mates are so great? See if they want him around 24/7. Because I wouldn't. DH's mate left his fiancee and mother of his children and wanted to bunk at our house, I'd say no way. Let people know what's going on. And change those locks, then have a long shower and wash that man right outta your hair.
