    Hi everyone!

Definitely is girl season! When we were in hospital apparently all the babies in the ward were girls with only 1 boy!

Our new little bundle of joy is Samantha Mae born 16th July and weighing 7lb 6oz.

Welcome to BellyBelly Tasha & congrats on your little girl! Lovely name. My DD1's middle name is Mae

How is everyone going? Has anyone else noticed they just don't have an appetite yet? Normally when I'm breastfeeding I eat like there's no tomorrow, but this time I'm having to force myself to eat.
Took Ambah to the GP for her checkup the other day. All went well. Dr is more concerned about my paleness. I'm still taking iron tablets, eating red meat etc. I don't feel lathargic or anything. I've always had a problem with my iron levels though, they've always been low. I've had to have iron fusions in the past, and I seem to always be on iron supplements.

So now we're just waiting on Dusty to pop from our group. I'm not sure if she'll join us again or move over to the August group. Hopefully she stays with us though

    Hi ladies,

Welcome Seachange & Tasha & congrats on your little bundles of joy! Yay for another boy too!!

Hudson has slept from around 8.30 through to 2.30am for the last four nights, hope he keeps it up!! It's great getting a decent block of sleep. His jaundice is just about gone too.

Jodi, my appetite comes & goes a bit but I'm still eating heaps because I'm at home & I just food. I've dropped more than half of the weight I gained during the pregnancy, think it's the b/f.. It's just dropping off without even trying. Gotta love that!

Anyway I'm off for a quick lay down before bubs wakes.

jlk - that's a great sleep by Tehya! Lets hope it continues.

rach - That's a great sleep as well! How's the breastfeeding going? Is he still fussing on one side? I only put on 8kg when pregnant, and I lost 10kg in the first 24 hours after having Ambah. But I haven't weighed myself since. I know I've lost weight, my tummy is almost flat, but my boobs are huuuuuuuuuuuuuge! I was DD/E pre-Ambah, am now a full F cup. I hate them. With each child, they've gotten bigger and they've never gone down once I've finished breastfeeding

Jodi, how fantastic that you're back to below your pre pregnancy weight - only gaining 8kgs is awesome. I put on almost 20kgs!! Crazy hey. Weighed myself on Sat and I'd lost 12kgs. My belly looks okay, almost flat just jellyish. I bet your boobs give you some grief, poor thing. I've only gone up from a C cup to a D cup. I have visions of them shinking to nothing once I finish breast feeding.

I've been working on our 'attachment' issues and the breast feeding is going better, my nipples are healing and he's feeding better from the lazy right boob. The supply is still no where near as good as my left boob though. I'm still expressing a couple of feeds a day to give my nipples more time to heal.

Hudson is 3 weeks tomorrow, can't believe how quickly the time is flying by. It's been just me and him all week, DH went back to work and so far has been working loooong hours.

I used cloth on him for the whole day yesterday and had no leakages!! Woohoo!
