Hi all
I just wanted to pop in quickly to say goodbye and goodluck to all you lovely ladies as I am lucky enough to move onto the preg after mc or loss thread. I really do hope to see you all crossing over the that thread soon. I did'nt contribute much to these threads as I was generally at a loss for words most of the time, but it really really helped to read all your stories and posts so a BIG thank-you.
:goodluck2:
GOOD LUCK TO YOU ALL
:
Thanks ladies finding this forum has really made me feel so much better... My DH is great but talking to other ladies who have been through the same thing just makes me feel normal again and lets me know its not my fault... We decided that we wanna try again yesterdayand have made some summer plans and even talk about moving out of state he is also going take me to play putt putt golf next week I have never been before so it should be fun... I'm not sure what we are doing for the holiday yet I was going to stay in because I didn't wanna be around family just yet but I think it will be good for me to get out and about again...
mollycat--I'm sure your DS's are thrilled to be getting their own rooms! While it does sound as though it's been a huge inconvenience, imagine how great it will be by this time next week! It will be worth all the trouble in the end! You showing any kinds of signs or anything yet, or do you know when you're going to test?
seenabeena--Congrats on your BFP, and on the move to the PAML thread! Praying for a healthy, happy pg. for you! Good luck!
Toccara-- Glad to hear you and DH have decided to begin TTC--your journey is a quick one! Hope you get out to do something fun over the long weekend, you deserve to do something to keep your mind off things! Take care of yourself!
Evening ladies. Just wanted to pop in and say hi and spread some
Hope you all had a lovely weekend.
Toccara - I'm glad you are finding comfort in here. I can't tell you how many times I've logged on and these ladies have always been here for me. It's very comforting when it feels like no one else 'really' understands you.
Seena - seeya. I'm not quite ready to leave yet. I think I'll wait until I reach 12wks (if that is ok with everyone in here). So I guess I'll see ya in another 7 weeks.Geez, it's going to take forever. Take care and sending you lots of
Krystielove - yay for your BFN. You sound really positive and ready to start ttc again. Good luck!
Jen - your frogs sound cool. I love that Miami Ink show (it's on pay tv here) - they can do some amazing designs.
mollycat - hope this week goes really quick for you and you have your house back together (only bigger) in no time.
Well here's to a good week ahead everyone!!!
Hello ladies!
Just wanted to say thanks for your kind birthday wishes - I had the best birthday I've had in ages. Breakfast was divine - ds was getting pretty wriggly waiting for the food to arrive so dh took him for a walk. They were gone for about 10 mins and I just sat and reflected on everything really - I just felt really at peace with everything and that it def could be so much worse. I looked up and saw dh and ds walking back over the hill towards me when the food arrived and almost got a bit teary thinking how much they mean to me and how lucky I am to have them both - gah!! What a sook! Then had friends over for drinks in the afternoon which got pretty "celebratory" - got to bed at 1am! Have not done that since before pg with ds and despite paying for it today had the best time...
I am cd12 today - dh and I tentatively kicked off the week of bd this afternoon... he is about 1000 times more supportive this cycle and aside from suggesting we bd (he didn't do that at all last cycle) he even reminded me to take my pre-preg vitamin! I just stared at him... I am pretty sure I should o towards the end of the week so hopefully we can keep it "interesting" throughout...
bbl for persies when I am feeling less ferral
Take care, here's aand lashings of
for all of you
Mollycat - I'm so jealous, it must be so wonderful being able to do what you want with your house, and so exciting having all that new space, and the boys having their own rooms! Dh and I are renting atm..and it'll be a couple of years yet before we're in a financial position to consider buying, but I can't wait!
Seenbeena - never really knew you but it's so lovely to see ladies who've been here in TTCAML, who've moved onto PAML. Wishing you a H&H pregnancy
Jenushka - that sounds like a really fantastic birthday, and it's so wonderful when you have those moments, realising that your life is good, and feeling really calm and happy with 'where you're at'. You go girl!
AFM - The same as usual. Have managed not to test as yet..holding on until next Sunday if I can. Still having the sore BBs almost all the time, and actually considering getting out the maternity bra I bought last time I was pg, because it's so comfy, but I don't want to jinx myself. There's a few other symptoms creeping up now as well, I'm just hoping I'm not simply noticing things I was ignoring before, or thinking myself into them. I'm sure I'm peeing more, and I'm thirsty all the time, which was a big thing last time I was pg. Always thirsty! Also I've been getting a bit nauseous on and off, especially when I have an empty tummy, and I'm fairly sure my CM has a different smell, and is creamy. Just psyching myself up for a fun, busy work week so the time will fly

AJC--Miami Ink is a show my whole family enjoys! Have you seen the new LA ink with Kat? Last summer we actually found her shop down in LA, they had all the windows blacked out and a sign up saying that they were filming but would be open that evening. We took pics outside the shop and got a pic of the sign--the shop itself isn't called LA Ink, its got something to do with a lightning bolt or something, I just can't remember! It was pretty cool, though!
Hope your 9 sleeps flies by for you--I can't wait to hear about your u/s, you must be getting so excited!
jenushka--So glad you had such a happy b-day! I love those moments when you realize all the positive things that are in your life, and you just feel at peace. Sounds like your DH is getting really involved with TTC (well, aside from hisdonations! lol...) Don't forget what I said about keeping it interesting! Wink, wink, nudge, nudge... It will work like a charm, I promise! Good luck with O and try to just have fun with each other!
like there's no tomorrow!
Acria--I'm not sure I could hold out from testing if I had all the symptoms that you have! You're a strong girl! Good luck, I'm praying for your BFP!
It's nearly 2 in the morning and I just got home from work, but I had to quickly jump on to tell you all that I think I am ovulating!!! I'm getting some normal strong ovulation pain from my left side which is the opposite side from where my egg was released last time when we got pregnant, and I've heard that it alternates sides (don't know if that's true though...). Strange thing though, I'm also occasionally getting a similar pain on the right too. I've read that both sides can sort of get ready to ovulate, but then only one side "actually" releases an egg. Maybe it's just that...
Krystie-- :woot: for O! Better wake DH for somebefore you fall asleep! Good luck catching that egg!

Hi ladies - just touching base too. I am always keeping updated with ur posts but just haven't posted myself. I am so incredibly tired most of the time. Glad u had a great bday jenushka. yay for school ending mmteacher. krystielove - when i had my u/s the doc told me i had o'ed from my left side which i thought was interesting - no reason he had to tell me and never been told that info before. GL Acria!! Hey everyone else - thinking of u always and GL to the other girls testing soon - i think that includes u too jen!!
mmteacher--Whew! You had me a little worried, but I really did figure it was just the end of the school year keeping you so busy. Sorry to hear about your dog--you sound like such a good mommy already!Great BT results!
Good luck at your appt. on Wed., will you get an u/s done at that appt? Have fun at your party tomorrow!
plc--Hi sleepy baby mama! Growing a baby is such hard work, rest as much as you can while you can! Thanks for the good luck... Can't believe my ticker says testing in 5 days! Not too sure about that one. I'm not nearly as antsy and impatient as I was last month at this time. More than anything I would love to get a BFP this month, but if I don't, then I'm ok with it--I'll just keep trying. I know I did the best I could this month, so if it's meant to be, it will be! I'll still take all the good luck and prayers that I can get, though!![]()
Good morning everyone, hope you all had a great weekend (are still having a great weekend for the girls in the US)!
I didn't stick completely to my juicefast, needed some food so I had salads, fruit and vegis, should be just as effective I think. I am actually feeling absolutely fabulous. Cant wait for O now, got a good feeling about this month!
Well you girls have been very busy over the weekend.
Jen - Sounds like you really have things in perspective this month, that is sooooo hard to do only 5 days out from testing. Good luck!
Hey Plc - You just focus on you at that moment and growing that gorgeous little bundle!
mmteacher - Yay for you hcg levels! You can just sit back and relax now and focus on growing your bubba.
KristieLove - Yey for O, hope you catch the eggy. Sometimes you can O from both sides but usually your body just gets a number of eggs ready, then one dominates and releases and sends a hormonal message to the other eggs not to be released. Most girls have one ovary that is slightly more dominant, but some just alternate months. Mine doesn't seem to be in any pattern, some months I really cant tell which one released the egg. Ahh, the mysteries of nature!
Acria - It is sounding soooo promising. They do say that you can get some pretty good symptoms this early due to rapid hormone changes, especially progesterone. My CM definately felt and smelt different last time from about 7dpo and I definatley noticed I was peeing more. Really hope this is your month.
Jenushka - Sounds like you had a beautiful birthday. I love it when you actually get the time to sit and reflect on the things you have, most of the time we are just too busy to even notice how blessed we are. Good luck catching the eggy this month.
AJC - Yes, please do stay around to let us know how everything is going. But you know, you could have a foot in both camps and post in both forums until you are ready to leave here. Joining the Pg after mc forum could be really helpful as those girls have all been through exactly the same thing. When you are ready, just something to think about.
Tocarra - I am so sorry for your lossWelcome. This is a wonderful supportive place, the girls in here seem to understand like noone else could. So glad you are going to keep TTC. There is a little sticky bean just around the corner for you. Good luck!
Seenabeena - Sad to see you go but very happy it is for all the right reasons. I am sure we will all join you in the pg after mc forum very soon. See ya soon!!
Mollycat - Glad your renovation is nearly over. I've done it a few times myself, god painful stuff. We went without a shower for two weeks once, we just washed ourselves down, yuck! It's all going to be so worthwhile.
I have to get stuck into study now (I have exams in 2.5 weeks) so a big hello to everyone else.
Hey Jodsan, you always seem to know so much about everything, so I was wondering if you could possibly answer a question for me about CP and CM. I've always joked that I couldn't even tell if I had a cervix when trying to check on position, because it always feels the same. Tonight I decided to give it another shot, and it seems as though my cervix is high, soft, and slightly open. Hey, I actually DO have a cervix in there!I read that if you've had children before your cervix is always slightly open, but I also read that when you get pg, it will become closed--but that it might not be noticeable that it's closed until + test result. So could it possibly be that I actually haven't O'ed yet, and that I'm still possibly fertile--although CM is thick and creamy, no stretch to it at all (ew, I know, sorry). Never did notice any wet or watery CM this month. This is why I don't usually go by CP or CM because it's all a little too confusing to me. Just thought I'd ask your opinion, you're always a fountain of knowledge! Thanks for any info you might have!
jen- will look out for the LA version of the show.
Jodsan - glad you are feeling so great. It's surely going to be your month this month!!! have been into PAML thread a few times - will probably spend more time in there after my scan next week.
jenushka - a belated 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY'. It sounds like you had a really good day!
Krystielove - catch that eggie girlie!!! Good luck.
Acria - sounds very promising. Thirsty - tell me about it. i have been sooo thirsty this time (which I haven't experienced before). i usually drink heaps of water every day because I know it's good for me but atm I really need to drink it all because I'm so thirsty. Of course i'm going to the loo all the time but oh well. Good luck and I hope the weekend coming brings you a BFP.
mmteacher - fab hcg results. Will see you in PAML soon.
and
for everyone.
afm - am doing ok. yesterday was a bit of a nervous 'down' day but today is better. i think because I'm back at work and therefore distracted. I think that my bbs aren't as sore this time around because they're smaller. I lost a stack of weight after the last m/c when I started the low GI diet. I had to get my work pants taken down two sizes before I could wear them a few weeks ago so I guess it's only naturally for my body to feel different this time around. I am also alot fitter and healthier so I would imagine that is helping my body cope too.
Take care everyone!!!
I didn't mean to only limit an answer or theory to Jodsan re CP and CM. Will gladly accept any help from anyone!![]()
Hi everyone,
AJC - Try not to stress about not having sore BBs (hard not to I know!). But I never had them at all when I was pg with DD and no m/s either until about 7 weeks, so I felt pretty normal until then. And my pg that miscarried last year I did have sore BBs right up until I had the D&C. So in my (humble) opinion BB soreness is not a good indicator of anything. Hang in there!!
Jodsan - That's great that you are feeling so positive, good luck for this month! Oh and good luck for the exams too.
jen - Only 5 days to go - yay! Good luck
plc - Glad to hear you are going OK, sorry you are so tired but at least that is a good sign!
mmteacher -Great HCG, you must feel pretty good after that!
KrystieLove - Yay, hope you had fun last night
Acria - Sounds all good! Fingers crossed for you!
jenushka - Happy belated birthday, glad to hear you had a nice day. Good luck this month.
Toccara - Welcome and I'm so sorry for your lossGlad though that found this place and hope it helps you get through.
seenabeena - Congratulations and all the best for a wonderful pregnancy!
Hi to anyone else that I've missed - I'm sure there must be someone!
AFM - Nothing exciting, getting heaps of cramps and have sore BBs. But I'm sure it's just from the progesterone so I'm trying not to get too excited yet as it's only 5 DPO today. I have an FS appointment and progesterone blood test tomorrow, so hopefully the prog levels will be good and we will come out of it with a plan for next month if we have no luck this month - but hopefully we won't need it!
