TTCALC: Oh honey, I'm sorry it was bad news, but don't give up please! I remember being told that a m/c was actually a sign of increased fertility fot LTTTC, it can be thought of as your body kind of trying out pregnancy, and that the next one usually sticks. Keep trying for the next one!

AFM: I haven't tested again yet, no AF so far, but I could just be having a long cycle. It would be horrible to not be preg, and still have a 5/6 week cycle! I've decided to ignore symptoms, because they could go either way. Today is cycle day 29. Don't have any tests in the house, but I have to go to the shops soon, so I may pick one up......any voice of reason have an opinion either way?

Follow this link and you will get to know all the jargon on here ! Makes me laugh as that was me 6mnths ago didn't know what people were saying but you soon learn !

TTCALC sorry AF turned up but look on the bright side your cycles are getting back to normal I took 59 days before I got AF after my mc in sept so now you can start your new ticker from the day AF showed and then get an idea of when to bdance ( if you do it too much you can make the sperm a bit weak so every other day is best from day 12 to day 17 I would say ) but depends on how long your cycle is !

Ferrals thanks for your comments as usual full of good advice I am waiting for the posty now instead of thinking I want to POAS so hopefully will know either way next week. Been feeling a bit queasy and boobs a bit tingly but like you that means nothing to me get the same if im UTD or if AF is on her way !

sunbeam hope you can get through today ok and think about something else instead of how long you gotta wait to TTC, you got this far not much longer I promise, the waiting is so hard when you mc, I know how it felt not so long ago waiting for AF to show but soon you will look back and be glad you were brave enough to wait and carry on !

Good luck to those testing soon I will wait I hate testing early rather wait till I am late or at least the day AF is due so that gives me until next friday ! well maybe thursday !

Keep smiling try to look on the bright side life is very hard at times but it does get easier and we do get rewarded so chin up girls ! and remember miracles happen everyday somewhere in the world you just have to beleive in them !

Hi Sunshine: I'm so sorry that you had to be here, but we are all here for you and we'll help in whatever way we can.

So TTC is trying to conceive, LTTTC is long term trying to conceive, TTCML is trying to conceive after miscarriage and loss, Mc is miscarriage, DH is dear husband, DP dear partner,DD is dear daugher (can be DD1,DD2 etc) DS is dear son, MIL is mother in law, FIL is father in law, BFN is big fat negative (BOOO!!), BFP is big fat positive, AF is aunt flo (period), AFM is as for me, TMI is too much information, it's usually used as a warning, lol, CD is cycle day, DPO is days past ovulation and O is ovulation, BD is babydancing (sex), IYKWIM is if you know what I mean.

    Hope that helps!

So, AFM: BFN again, trying to will AF to come quick so I can start again! Gonna try and get me a december baby.

TTCALC: I had that exact AF!!! heavy for one day, then hardly anything at all for the next 4 days, I never have AF like that. It is gone completely today I am on CD6, I think it was probably just my body adjusting back to normal.

TTCaLC - same as Kirsten - I'm am having that exact AF now - started Tuesday light, then Wed, heavy, then Thurs, nothing, then Friday heavy, today, nothing...have no idea what's going on. It's the first AF since my mc so was thinking my body is readjusting.

Em - welcome! I've been following on the other thread. It is hard and I'm sorry for your losses. Hopefully you will get lots of support here. Big hugs to you.

Can I join in - we aren't TTC just yet as still waiting for my hcg levels come back down as i m/c naturally but my dr said to keep testing weekly until I stop getting a positive and than start TTC after that, so I thought instead of being a lurker I'll jump straight in and start getting to know all of you wonderful girls

    Hey all,

Do any of you know? I found out i lost my lil one when i thought i was 19 weeks but he passed away bout 2 weeks earlier. I was induced and gave birth.

Would m body be the same after full term labour or as a m/c i mean in getting back to normal?

Ms K - I am not sure. Depends on what sort of things you're wondering about?

I have had two m/c at about 20 weeks, and I O'ed within 14-21 days of each, but continued to bleed for a while. For one it worked out to be for about 2 months of bleeding all up. Not heavy bleeding the whole time, but light to spotting. Even though I haven't discussed the details with my ob, for me he told me my milk was likely to come in, and that in other respects ( at least for me) my body had given birth, so would be affected by post partum issues - weak pelvic floor, mood swings, the blues, after pains, fatigue. It certainly didn't take me too long after the first m/c at 21 weeks to get back into my beloved running and sport and my body went back to normal in terms of physical appearance very quickly ( no baby belly sag). Not so much with the second at 19 weeks, but that was a twin pregnancy where I m/c one of the twins at 14 weeks and then carried the second twin until 19 weeks. So I spent a lot more time doing very little trying to preserve the pregnancy. But I am not sure if it's the same for everyone. Hope you find the answers you were looking for.

Iona Macca - welcome, sorry you have to be here. Hope those levels come down quick smart. taking a HPT is a quick way to test those levels, and more convenient that blood tests.

Em - similarly welcome. What of thread have you been posting on? I would like to understand a bit about where you've been to get here, and don't want to ask you to have to repeat it.

Hi to everyone else,I miss talking to you more reguarly than I have been lately. But it's been 3 or 4 days since I logged on. Have been a little self absorbed. I am feeling a bit drained today, so not much energy to respond to everyone but know I am thinking of you and just hoping for a BFP for you.

I am going ok, but my invincibility bubble burst again last night with another scare, not totally burst, but enough of a reminder of the precariousness of the journey I am on. Nothing like another good scare to remind me how much I want this and how scared I am. But that's just how it is at the mo for me. I hope that soon enough you are each going through your own version of this challenging journey. Lots of babydust to you......

    Thanks Dory,

I want to try again as soon as i can. Im just unsure as to when i can. As after given birth normally i guess its ok after the 6 weeks have past. Just wasnt sure when this happens but as i was induced into labour i thought maybe it might be the same as full term.

for you MissK hope you find an answer soon, did you ask your Doctor? cos they may be able to tell you. But from my guess it's as soon as you stop bleeding and as soon as your ready.
