How nice are Dory postsLove them.
Muraycod – good to see you have your spunk and sense of humour. Glad you and DH had a sneaky quickie at lunch..... did Dh have to go back to work? I have a sneaky happy smile just thinking about clandestine lunch time liasions.
Inona Macca – hope that assignment went well.
Bons – how do you manage with 3 months apart? My DH and I spent about 4 months apart in the lead up to our wedding in 2000 and it was quite tough. Although, after a while I did get used to it and DH coming home was an adjustment.
Mildez – how are you doing?
Ferals – I am sorry I missed Abbi's day, but glad that you and DH went away together. I cried so many tears reading about both how you and DH spent the day and enjoyed the party and how your Mum and niece honoured Abbi. So precious. How's the kitty? And I hear you and my journey has been so different to yours, but my BF's journey is one of long term TCC with 2 m/c, and she talks to me about how she feels. You're feeling quite normal. I say do what you need to do. If cutting back helps you keep it simple and keep the passion alive – do it.
Audax aka Snuggly– bring on the crazy lady – OMG OMG OMG – congrats. I so thought you had a tummy bug as there was one going around Bris at the time......
Mathew's mum – how did you find the nasal spray? And thanks for your good wishes.
Mo4- congratulations again on your BFP, and I want to repeat its good to see you in the other thread. I completely understand about feeling like you don't belong anywhere. Believe me, the women in here are wonderful ( you know that) but I agree there are some things it is probably insensitive to share here. You will feel more comfortable in your other thread soon. I am getting more comfortable – they are just as supportive but not as much fun in the other thread. There is just something manic about tcc and the 2ww.
Hubba – congratulation again and I like to see you in the other thread. Hugs.
Em – in this journey, the strangest things affect us, even when we think we're doing ok. Sorry you did it tough on AF's arrival. I have been thinking about starting to use a moon cup – what do you think of it honestly? And thanks for your good wishes.
T hopes – I hope you are dreaming about all the women in this forum... sad that your dream meant sadness for you though. Are you feeling a little less broken? It makes me so sad to read that you are so sad. I wish I could get my magic wand out and fix it for you. Big hugs. Alice had the right words.
Trea- welcome and god luck. I hope your stay is short and you get a BFP soon. Dr Sachs is highly regarded.
Millyd – I am sorry that you are angry.... let it out sis. This journey is unfair.
Loops – welcome. Work on that natural miracle – at least BD ing short term can be lots of fun and no pressue, just get out and enjoy yourself.... out in the outdoors is always good. Sorry, feeling cheeky.
Crafty – sorry I missed your EDD but glad that you got through ok. To cry and feel your emotions is not weak, you are just a beautiful normal woman. Don't be so hard on yourself.
SPF – I am so daft, I didn't realise that congratulations were in order. I was hoping that good news was afloat for you when I heard mention of scans, but thought it might have been for something else. Congrats girl. Hope you are going well.
Sunbeam – how DARE work get in the way of BB! I am so sorry you are sad. I think the sadness, the enduring sadness is the hardest to deal with. I hope you've reconnected with your counsellor and it helps. I will miss you. Be strong my friend, you will find your way through.
Kit – how did you BD marathon go? Every day is amazing. It took me a very long time to add anything to my signature beyond my name. I am still a bit like Snuggly Audax in that I vacillate about whether I want that info in my signature, but for the moment I am being brave and putting it out there. I for one am glad to see Splat up on the big screen and in big lights. It reminds me to think of you. BTW – it was good to hear from DH too. Give a big hug and let him know he is part of our family too.
Jahzara -oh sweetie – I had hoped you weren't posting because you were feeling strong not fragile. Big hugs. Glad you decided to plan a trip. I love a god holiday and the beach is perfect. How many sleeps til your holiday? And I hope your break from TCC brings you some peace and a big fat surprise bfp.
Possum Magic – so sorry to hear about the loss of your precious little one and your extra tough journey afterwards, that's a lot of trauma to go through. You've found a great bunch of ladies though. So does that mean you are TCC now or just about ready to?
Miss K- how are you doing?
T-hopes- I like that joke! Sorry I missed your EDD. I can't dye my hair in pg either or even from O to AF.
Sarahrach – a bit quiet on the western front. You doing ok?
Alice – sorry your new shirt met with such a sad fate, but never mind. I wonder why in a new job when people don't know you why they would ask such a dumb question. You sure have some nosy parkers in your life at the moment and also some beautiful souls. Glad you got to have a nice peaceful experience with relos as well. I am glad that you and DH had a meeting of the minds about it. Did AF come?
Ric – good to see your name again! Good luck with the change in job and hope the back ache is better. There are ways to BD that can accommodate a back ache..... clearly I am not getting enough.
TCCALC – I miss you! It seems ages since I was waiting with baited breath for that court case and then it was adjourned because someone changes lawyers. …. bet you're super busy now. Thinking of you.
Eliselouise- how are you doing?
Chody – hope your stay in the TCC thread is short. Hugs sweetie.
Timeforafamily – I am so sorry about the loss of your much anticipated and loved 0.56. I have to say I love the name! I hope your next cycle goes well and you bust out of here real quick.
Teagm – welcome, and sorry that you had to experience such heartache to find us.
AFM – all going well 15 weeks. And each day a blessing, but some are easier than others. The worry and anxiety is never far away and what I worry about changes, but I refuse ( and stamp my foot) to let it ruin this miracle.
And Alice after two disasters with 2 boxes of POAS,( so 4 tests) where I soaked my hand and my sleeve ( who is that unco?????) and ruined the tests by getting them wet in the wrong place, I just use the “old fashioned” floaters. I have more practice and ability it seems to pee in a cup. Hah that sounds so bad. I am always worried though with the floaters that the cats will come and investigate them ( I put the container briefly on the floor whilst I get organised) and think they will knock them over or put their cat saliva in them and ruin them.
I just wanted to say, that I have finally caught up ( not yet looked at the photos of the kitty yet, just about to do that!) it breaks my heart to read the month through and see all the heartache and pain you've all gone through but warms my heart to feel the love, warmth and support we all give each other. This is truly a special place and thankyou to each of you for making it so, heartache and all.
PS - sorry this has been so LONG! Happy reading.
How nice are Dory postsLove them.
Kit - awwh schucks - now I am blushing - or is it b/c DH got home early? Nothing like deprivation to build desire.
Ferals - Love the kitty! OMG so handsome. How many sleeps til you get him and get to bend him to your will ( ha!)
dory-impressive post, nasal spray stings sometimes &get a yucky feeling down my throat,it's bearable...loops12-sorry for your loss, hope your next bfp is here soon...ferrals-(murphy's law)the injections were only giving me tiny yellowish-brownish bruises, the one today ,draw blood & has left a red-purple bruise, size of about 50 cents piece, hope i haven't stuffed something up,did it the same as the others.oh,girls i should be paying you my nurse fees.
Dory, very impressive post xxxx much love xx
Ferals I must fix that Hubby is 38, 39 in Feb and doesnt want to be pregnant past June for fear of being 40 when bubs is born.
Its irrational I know, but who am I to comment on irrational thoughts and behaviour. Thats his journey and I must respect it as I love him so dearly. His cut off is definite. If not pregnant by June then Mirena back in and moving on to other choices in life.....ahhhh....so sad.....
I am trying at the moment to clarify is June MIrena, or July, like do we get The month of June or are we done in June???????
BLoody painful....and hard to bring up....i know how he feels though, not sure how much more I can take so how much can he????
Love to all your are all so beautiful
xxxxx
Mathewsmum-don't worry one time i gave myself an injection and must have hit a vain because i ended up with a big black and purple bruise that lasted a week i only ever nicked a vain once because every time after that i checked where i stuck the needle.
Dory-thanks for the post it was good reading and i get Mowgli in 29 days i went to play with him today he is so cute his rippley fur is gorgeous and his little ears and nose tail and paws are getting darker and the rest of him is a cream colour i cant wait to bring him home.
Millyd-my DH is 38 in sep and he has no problem ttc beyond 40 it is me who wont go past 37-38 at the very latest and as i am 36 on friday i dont have much time but if that is what you and your DH have decided i totally understand i just wish you had more time.
Here is a pic of mowgli and his brothers and sisters our boy is the cream one at the back the little one.
http://s921.photobucket.com/albums/a...rch2010008.jpg
AFM-still no AF and it is strange i really don't feel like she is comming where two days ago i could swear she was knocking on the door i will poas again fri to be sure,
wow everyone, so much to catch up on in a few days.
MurryCod -I know you are such a positive person so I'm sorry to read how you are feeling. We had long breaks between our IVF cycles for exactly the same reason - I just found it very hard to back up to a new cycle while still recovering (emotionally and physically) from the one before. I hope you are feeling your old self again soon. xx
Kit love you are one funny girl. I'm still chuckling over the 'boobage'. But I'm sorry you couldn't curl up with your fur person the other night - hope dinner with the fam was OK. How much longer til you test?? Loving the yellow bootie idea - must try that! Does a yellow sock count while I'm waiting LOL?
Dory - LOL about the cats drooling into your pee cup and ruining the test! I now have a vivid memory of peeing all over myself but it was an OPK, not a HPT. I don't know, it's hard to be coordinated and elegant about somethings. Glad all is traveling well for you and agree with the foot stamping -there will be nothing happening here but baking (as Kit says!).
Ferrals, so sorry for this difficult ****ty time. My fav brother is born on Friday too so you have a fine birthday date. I'm sorry it didn't bring you the BFP you were hoping for BUT the one time I was every pg I had such full on period like pain the two days before I got the result that I was so convinced my AF was coming I rang my mother to tell her our last go at IVF hadn't worked. Poor thing sobbed (she really wants to be a Nana) and then I had to ring her back two hours later and tell her I was wrong. Sooo even if it feels really remote, I am so hoping for you.
Ric - great news about the new job! Does it have the good view out the window I imagined for you and people making you cups of tea? I hope so!! Good luck with the TWW.
MatthewsMum - good luck for Friday - I gave myself a few of those killer bruises last time - I think sometimes it goes into a bit of muscle or something and seems to get nasty. I did try to give myself the injections in the shape of a smile last time but it looked more like a leer by the time all the bruises came up! Nah, you don't need to be pleasant ATM - making eggs is hard work woman so they can all be extra nice and forgiving for you right now or we'll send the girls around to sort 'em out!
Thopes - enjoy your holiday - sounds like just the ticket! Glad your AF is just right and hope this cycle ends with a BF BFP
SarahRach - good to hear from you and sorry it has been so hard. Hope you caught that egg
Crafty - thanks for your lovely comment. All our stories are so different but the pain and loss is the same and I want good things for everyone here and I know we all feel the same. Hope those herbs get things working quick smart. One more for you please. OMG just had the thought like a flash - twins!! Wouldn't that be amazing! (did you already have twins?)
Mummyof5 - hee hee (had to add that) glad your bloods are going well.
Snuggly - Aurex? Glad all is well with you too! We need you to cheer us up some again I think. Glad the pg porn has started - lucky girl!!
Wouldloveabubba - hello to you and so sorry for your losses. You've been through a lot looking at your signatureI really hope this will be a quick stay. Did you read my earlier post that I'm planning a mass breakout? Yep, we're all going at once so no one is left behind. Hope you'll bust out with us soon.
MissK- so sorry lovely you are having such a hard time. Big hugs to you.
And you too MillyDto you too. Such a rollercoaster and the dips are so bloody awful and crushing. I hope you are both feeling much better soon.
Loopy - hello. I do hope you can get that natural miracle in before the next planned cycle. Good luck to you x
Possum - hello - hope you caught/catch that eggie.
Chody - I'm with you on the worrying front. My brother reckons I can write a mean list of all the things. I know the feeling when you get in full swing - I always try to stop myself now but thinking "well, what other worry can I come up with?" to try make a joke out of it and break the anxiety down. It's hard not to be anxious when you've been through so much - so many things to be anxious about but I hope you can settle yourself and not get too tied up but easier said than done I know.
Bons - a new cycle for you? Hope this one is the one. Been enjoying reading your posts, feel like you've been with us for ages (not that I wish a lengthy stay here on anyone) just feels familiar to have you here
Trea - hi there. Dr Sachs? I think I missed an earlier post from you. Welcome and looking forward to sharing your journey here - hope it is a short one.
Timeforafamily - how's it all going?
Hi to anyone I missed - sadly our list seems to be getting longer. Thinking of you all - hi to thelurkers. Hope reading here helps and don't be shy about joining in.
AFM well AF is finished, it turned out to be a good strong one so I'm happy that things seem to be healthy there. Feeling not too bad - haven't had a teary day in a good week or so, so that's positive. Still haven't rung my FS to find out about our pathology from mc - bit scared to, if I'm honest. Time for that I suppose later. Am going to go back and see Chinese herbalist and acupuncturist that a friend recommended. Have given up coffee and hardly touch wine so feel like body is well, except big time sugar cravings every day at 3pm. Trying to avoid sugar and having nuts to snack but oh boy with Easter coming up I think I can have some chocolate.
That's all from me. Love to everyone
Alice x
Forgot to say - Mildez - glad you're getting some good bding in!!
Goodness, I haven't logged in for only two days and i'm already three pages behind! I'm tired so won't even try to catch up properly. Hopefully will in next two days. Just a couple of comments:
Hope all are shaking their 'booties' (a la Kitfaerie)! (Groan...terrible joke but couldn't resist!)
Dory: Can relate to pee cup issues: just tried OPK last week and dropped the (one and only!) pee cup in the toilet (when trying to empty it fortunately). What a business hey?
Welcome Loops, Trea and Sarahrach
To all those feeling a bit despondent this week: big hugs. I think the cyclical nature of our bodies means we cycle in and out of hope and despair too. It's just the way of things. I hope everyone is on the 'up' soon.
So sorry to all i've missed. Be back in the next two days with more persies ('personals' i assume? Still trying to catch up on all the lingo!)
Ferrals!!!!! all my evrythings are crossed!!!!! Cant wait for friday!!!! YOu just might be BFP number Three!!! xxxxxxx![]()
Hi Ladies
T-hopes ~ thanks for the lovely welcome. I'm sorry about your loss last year. GL for a BFP ASAP!!
Milly'd ~ thanks, a natural miracle would be a blessing. Chances aren't the greatest but we can only hope and keep DTD. Sorry about your loss this year 2 and all the best on your TTC journey, I truly hope you guys get your BFP in before June
Ferrals ~ thanks for your welcome. Yes I hope andwe all get to the pg threads very soon and can share pg stories there. Sorry for your loss and also this BFN. Dont give up hope - hugs.
Dory ~ thanks and you made me laugh which has been great. Will do LOL! Going by your posts im trying to work out - are you pg at 15 weeks? If so everything x'd for you!! Not sure if you know Nae Nae from BB but she's my friend and she had 3 losses before her beautiful lil girl was born so hang in there, your lil one can stick.
Matthews mum ~ thanks, appreciate it. Are you doing IVF and Synarel nasal spray? If so all the best, FX for you!
Alice ~ thank you. Sorry for your loss. You did get that 1 step closer though - as we did this time. So hold onto that and wishing you all the very best.
Possum-magic ~ thanks and sorry for your loss 2.
AFM ~ I'm dumb-founded as to how many are on here and such long posts - its great to have support and friends in here, even though I do wish we were all in the preg forums. We'll all get there - GL all.
I have another BT tomorrow to make sure my HCG is down to 0 so I dont have to have a curette. I had a big clotty bleed at 4 weeks but havent had much at all since although BT last week was down to 10. If there is still a reading might have to have curette.
Hi to everyone,
This is my first time to post on this site but i spend lots of my time reading it. I wish you all the very best of luck and hope this wait will be over soon.
I am currently 5 dpo and feeling cramps and tightness. My cevix is very high also.feel terrible but really i'm not sure as i know it's too early for symptoms. I don't chart other than mucus and cervix observations. I look forward to hearing all your happy endings and and passing this tww a bit easier. I had a loss tow months ago and this is our first time trying since so extra anxiety doesn't help.
Talk to you all soon.

HI Rose,
so sorry for your loss, but welcome hun.
The tww is absolute torture, so hopefully it will go quickly for you and you get your BFP real soon.
Morning all,
Have a beautiful day today. Ferrals and Kitfaerie i hope AF is a definite no show...Blessings to everyone
xxx
Thanks for the welcome,
It's night time where i am so i'll catch up with everyone tomorrow but i hope you all have a great day.
Welcome to the newbies Rose and Loops and any one else I have missed. So sorry you are joining such a thread.
I can't keep up with this thread it moves so quickly
ferrals4 your Mowlgi is gorgeous. I hope AF is late as your pregnant. I have everything crossed for you.
Me in the 2WW although I am 99% sure I am out already as the egg came from the side with no tube![]()
Welcome rose123 sorry for your loss and i hope this month brings you some luck
hello to all my other lovely girls i wont do persies i am off to work but i will catch up tonight.
AFM-still no AF but my CBFM isn't flashing the M symbol as it should when AF due so it has picked up that i O'd 2 days late so has added 2 days to my cycle which like i said would make AF due tomorrow still getting a BFN and now i don't want a BFP as a HPT always shows positive 3-4 early with me except Abbi it only showed the day before AF real faint because her hormones where really low that is a sign for my babies that they have SLO so i would rather a strong positive a few days before AF or not at all anyhoo off to work be back later.
Hi Ladies,
Dory - So glad to hear you are doing well! Dh and I have always spent months apart...we have been together for 8 yrs now, and he has been in the navy the same amount, Im just very glad he doesnt go away for 6 month periods.....It does take some adjusting when he gets home, one of the girls im friends with said "being with a sailor is falling in love with them again everytime they come home", so it can be nice as well.
Alice - In the 2ww now, but not feeling confident....and Thanks i like the familiarity of this forum, makes me feel like Im not insane! but i really hope we can have that mass breakout asap.
Hi rose, big welcome, so very sorry you had to join us here.
Murraycod - Big hugs hun xx
Ferrals - Happy birthday For tomorrow, Although you didnt get a BFP this month I hope you still have a nice day with your family, go easy on yourself and enjoy the chocolate xxx
Sorry dont have time to finish up today, im meant to have washed my puppy by now and packed the car while Dh is at work....Will try and post later but not sure on my internet service at DH's parents house.
So if i dont get back Happy Easter everyone! Have a lovely long weekend....Im going to eat my weight in chocolate
xxx
Hello everyone,
I read all your posts everyday, and I always thinkI will bbl to post persies. Then I get caught up in life and never post. So I wanted to post and wish everyone a Very Happy Easter, I hope the Easter Bunny brings us all, good follicals, good swimmers, good eggs, good fertilisation, and good BFP's ...
AFM: My scan this morning showed 9 follies on the left ovary ( I have no tube ) so they will go to waste, however I have 13 good looking follicals on the right ovary, so our IUI will most likely be Easter Monday, after my trigger, which is nice.. We will BD like rabbits (lol) after the IUI to increase our chances
Happy Easter everyone, I will try and post a long post over the weekend![]()
