megsmum - The bird was huge. It's beak was about 15cm long, and it's neck was almost twice that length. Unfortunately I got a call from work tonight and was told the bird went to birdie heaven. They couldn't find a wildlife carer that was able to take on a bird with a badly broken wing.
WTH - Shame the nurse couldn't help you more. Hopefully your other doctors are more available tomorrow!

I still think you ovulated in CD15 and that you are illegible for the "p" off. But I totally understand if you want to wait a while longer to be sure.

DH doesn't usually work saturdays, but is going in to work tomorrow, so I'll have to make sure I POAS before he leaves so that I can give him the news
I'm feeling a bit better now after a nice Thai dinner out with the in-laws. Plus DH just brought me a banana fritter (with extra syrup!). My face is still sore and a bit swollen, but hopefully it's not infected and it'll go down soon. I'll get the vet to check it tomorrow and see if it's ok. I know it seems weird that I'll get the vet to check it, but the vet at work tomorrow is a human doctor as well. Crazy yeah?! At least then instead of me paying for a doctor consultation, I'll get paid for my consultation!
DH asked when I was going to test this month because he's sure I'm pregnant. Apparently he's got a really good feeling at the moment (how adorable is that?!). I told him that I'm going to test tomorrow, but it's still early. He said maybe I should wait until Monday, but I said I can't because we are having a competition in this thread. Then he asked what the prize was, so I said "a baby"

Jen - my cycle has been 28 days for as long as I know (I had been on the pill for a very long time) although the last one was 29 days. I initially fell pg after 6 wks off the pill then I MC in Nov and it took 2 cycles to fix the body so I s'pose I really cannot be too confident of my cycle length
AJC and Jenushka- congrats on the scan I am so happy for you both

Good morning girls! It's a bit later than usual for me to be posting, I'm sitting at the kitchen table trying to read the 2 pages of posts that accrued while I was sleeping, trying to juggle reading, posting, and listening to granny... it's a bit much trying to do all three at once! I've been telling her all about you girls--I feel quite blessed to be where I'm at in my life right now, despite the m/c, because I truly can't imagine my life without you girls in it!

HI Joey - obviously the stick just isn't working properly, have a good talk to the next one in the packet and use it in a couple of days time ( that it's just too early yet).
Tocorra - that's just not fair - doesn't she know she's not allowed to show up late, early's ok (that way we can get on with the next cycle) but AF is not allowed to visit late.
Tutmae - YAY for no PCOS - i was diagnosed with it a couple of years ago, it answered a lot of questions for me, but life would be easier without it.
Jen - enjoy your trip around hollywood. Doesn't DF understand that you have to let everyone know where you're going that's why you're not ready.
Krystie - is DH still having symptoms, - maybe that's why he's so sure. that you get your BFP (either today or Monday with Joey). OK - One pair of shoes for Krystie added to my shopping list. I think i'll wait a little longer (or in DH's words - let it develop). Trying to remember back to last time and what symptoms I had (wasn't really ttc at that time as our friend had just died and finding out we were pg was such a shock, it took a while to absorb it as the timing was just so wrong. The first was AF being late

I didn't win either! My temp dropped (which I wouldn't have thought would happen until at least tomorrow if AF is coming!) and I nearly didn't test at all. But I finally caved but it was a BFN. I've got some cramping too, but not sure if it's gas...

Tina & Joey - Your temps are still looking really nice and high!
Also, I took my temp an hour after my first (low) temp this morning and it was more than half a degree higher! Weird. I used the first temp taken at the normal time though.
Sounds like the 'p' off has started maybe a bit early. Am sure those single lines will turn into double lines soon.....
mollycat - we are telling our parents tonight, both our parents coming for dinner. I think there will be lots of tears from the grandma's to be & the poppy's will be excited too. We'll call my sister & her DH and tell them & also DH's sister & her DH too - that sounded a bit confusing. Will tell close friends over the next week but are waiting to announce it to the world at 16 weeks. After then it might be obvious when my tum starts to pop out.
I come from a very large extended family (I'm the second youngest of all of my cousins) who quite often put their two bobs worth in without thinking. A few of them have played up a bit before and it's always when there is a wedding or baby or big family event. Sometimes they just don't know how to be happy for other people, and without knowing our ttc journey wasn't easy there may be some insensitive comments. I'm hoping I'm wrong but who knows - you know what they say, 'you can choose your friends'. There is my rant for the day!
It's only the beginning of the day ladies - am sure we'll see some BFP's before the weekend is out.
joey, tina, and Krystie--Triple dammit!!! it's still just too early!!! joey, you're only 10DPO, so probably just way too early. And tina, your temp is still really high-- for a BFP tomorrow! Krystie, didn't have time in my last post to say I'm really sorry about your eye! Hope you enjoy your night out, in spite of the black eye. Just tell everyone it's the new trend! Or better yet, wear an eyepatch, and tell them you're a pirate! ARRGGHH matey!

WTH - Im so sorry your'e feeling so down and confused at the moment. Im so sure things will sort themselves out and you will go on to enjoy a lovely healthy pregnancy. Hang in there hun, I know this must be such a stressful time, but try some meditation to relax your body, I know...easier said than done, but do try hun! We are thinking of you and for you sweets!

P.S. - temps usually rise after you have woken, thus your temp going up an hour later. That's why they tell you to use your first waking temp as this is your lowest (resting temp). Temps beyond this time are invalid as you begin to wake up, your heart rate increases thus rising your temp. I hope that makes sense???
toccara - Im so sorry about the late af, its absolutely not fair when that happens . Not only is she not welcome in the first place, but she has the balls to turn up LATE...How rude! Sending you GL for next cycle hun.

AFM - Not much to report, still feel the same, bb's have been very sore for about 3 weeks now....not normal, they hurt even before ov time, so I dont know whats going on there! Me and DH didnt try this month, I dont think we have even bd very much. Certainly not very much before the bb's started hurting so Im pretty sure we havent got it this month. I feel like I have been carrying around throbbing watermelons on my chest for 3 weeks now, and probably all for nothing....thats a bit unfair dont you think???
Anyway, af is due next week, so we will see then. Ohhhhh the waiting, always waiting!!!!!
