    Morning Everyone,
Forshelby - Maybe you could ask the know it all what qualifications he has in the pg area???? I prefer to make smartarse comments than confront something in a big way....the only thing i can suggest for ms is gingernut biscuits and peppermint tea, I hope your ms goes away around the 14 wk mark xxxx
    Good Luck temping Clairesmummy!
Dampyre - Have you tried the shakes? Dh was on duromine for 3 months last year, it wasnt fun at all xxx
    Hugs to everyone else xxx
AFM - Well i gave in and tested, BFN, feeling a little deflated, will have to try the weekend windows I have for next month, bring on the 21st of Aug! Starting to feel a bit better about tomorrow, think I might take a long walk along manly tomorrow, then take DS to the circus.

Ok now that my head is in a better, more focussed place, I have actually been able to read back over everything I've missed!

Mum22: Thank you! LOL @ the things we do after BDing. I have been known to stick my legs up. at times as well. Thanks for the tip on preseed as well! It looks like a great product. Will definitely give it a go next time. Hope you're enjoying your BD bonanza

Forshelby: I hope your ms isn't too bad at the moment. I agree, it's sooo much better just to let it out. I figured that out pretty quickly as well lol. I also agree with Bons, perhaps a smartass comment is in order for the jerk at work! I've been wanting a Big Mac for 3 days, so I finally caved yesterday and had one for lunch at work. The only funny looks I got were from people who know I don't usually eat red meat hahaha.

Reet: A long weekend camping trip sounds awesome! We did that not long after my mc coz I needed to get away. Had some close friends come along as well. It was fantastic! No phones, no electricity, not even running water lol. Hopefully it will be just the ticket to get your mind off things, and just relax and refresh.

Loops: Hope AF is almost gone for you. That's a great sign that it's on time!

Bons: Aww.. I hate those BFNs!! Give it some time and if AF hasn't come, take another test! My first one was a BFN, but changed afterwards.

dampyre: 20kgs! That's fantastic!! Congrats! FX there's a little bubba in there for your scan, and things look much better for you on the PCOS front.

Possum: I'm sorry it's taking so long for you. I hope you're feeling better. This journey can really take the pizazz out of us, can't it? Try to keep your chin up.

    Clairesmummy: Hope you're feeling better!

Sending to all on the TWW!!

AFM had a bt yesterday. My regular GP wasn't there, so I asked another GP for for a referral, but Dr Stabby McStab decided to do it himself and took blood from the inside of my wrist! OMG it was painful! Usually they can't find veins that won't move in my arms, so go for the back of my hands. He wasn't even gentle about it!! So ruuuude lol. So I'll get the results back tomorrow and have another test to see how we're going. Still spotting brown/pink, but it's not getting any worse so I'm still feeling positive. MS seems to have lulled, but bbs are still sore and I now have really bad heartburn. I'm hoping my body is just giving me a break, because I have a throat infection, and that + vommies are not cool.

Oh geez... it's taking me so long to write this post I'm gonna be late for work!! LOL

Forshelby: Hope the MS isn't hitting you to hard today, as for your know it all male I agree with Bons in asking him what his qualifications are in midwifery.....lol....let him have it in a gentle smart ass way that he will have to think about for awhile I find the best comments made to ppl like him are to have a few dif meanings so they go away thinking about it, then if he says anything back to you once he figures it out just blame your hormones....lol......
Bons- Thanks for the good luck wishes with my temping but so far it aint going so well they are all over the shop atm. Sorry to hear of your BFN but if we hang in there our time will come. As disheartening as it is at least we know we are not alone in our journey to get that BFP.
MsKara- Hope your BT come back with great news for you, I'm sure they will though sending lots of sticky bubba vibes for you. The dr sounds like a bit of a cruel guy to take blood the way he did, ouch, I hate blood tests.
AFM- Last day of AF today just a little bit of spotting, feeling alot healthier today not as crook in the belly and my appetite is returning I actually ate brekky this morning and had a cuppa T. Still temping and it's all over the shop up and down like a yo yo thats gone feral. Here's to Oing on time and maybe better luck next month, usually have a 26 day cycle so guess I can start counting the days down until I O or I might just play it by ear....lol.....
Hope everyone else is feeling great cause I can feel Spring in the air atm and we all know what that means......lol

Bons - sorry you got that result.... could it just be too early? Your walk along the beach and the trip to the circus sounds great.

Forshelby - blah re the m/s ... you sound like you're finding a way to survive it and the unsolicited advice, what the? .... what I am about to say is probably going to sound irreverent, and I suppose it is, please don't be offended but what has worked for me is a combination of giving up work at 7 or 8 weeks AND having multiple losses, means that only the very fool hardy even try to offer me any sort of advice. It's been bliss. but short of that combination....I would tell him to mind his own business, the patronising sod.

Alice, Reet, Loops, Possum - sending you my love. Hiya to everyone else, sorry I am just hopeless at the mo with remembering anything. I had a conversation this morning and then had to ask DH what I had just be talking about and even ask him what I'd said. Blimey, lucky I am not at work.

Bons - I did make a smartarse comment, he didn't get it though. Still thinks he knows everything about everything. I like gingernut biscuits but they're full of sugar..... so I avoid them since I'm eating enough junk. (can barely get my pants done up now) and peppermint tea grosses me out... I've always hated it. I've taken to chewing gum. I seem to have good days and bad days, and it doesn't seem to matter what I try, sometimes I just get sick anyway.

MsKara - Don't you hate how everyone suddenly becomes the 'diet police' when you're pg?! Enjoy your big mac, dang it! I hope your bt results come back showing some good numbers. FX for you hun.

Clairesmummy - LOL I have considered blaming a few things on hormones lately. Like telling that woman in my office she's a cow, and to stay out of my face with her disgusting thick smokers cough, and COVER HER MOUTH! It makes me crazy. I'm blaming the hormones for my appetite, and lack of pants that fit me too. Glad you're feeling better, it's been a rough time for you lately. I say get some OPKs and kick this ttc thing in the butt!

Dory - I love your idea, I will tell him to zip it next time he pipes up with something really intrusive. Like telling me 'every decision you make affects your baby'. No, really? Ugh. Patronising is definitely the word!!!! (not to mention insulting, as if I'm doing something WRONG!) I wish giving up work right now was an option, but I really want to do my bit in paying off our credit card before bubby arrives. Also, the only colleague of mine I get along with or give a damn about has cancer, and is starting treatment next week. I need to be there to support her..... she needs me right now, and I'm trained in her job. She has it way tougher than me. Pregnancy isn't an illness, but cancer is. Of course if complications were to arise for me, this baby comes first, and she knows that. But as long as I'm feeling relatively ok, I'll do everything I can to ease her burden. Afterall, I'll be gone in.. oh... 7ish months?

AFM, I'm having a hard time trying to type this with the dog squiggling around under my arms and all over the place.... but here goes! As I said above, a colleage of mine is starting radiation therapy next week, so today was a bit of a sad day for me. It was awful to see her cry.... she never cries, so I know she must be feeling terrified about it. I had no words for her, so I just held her and tried not to start crying myself. This might sound selfish, but I'm really worried my ms is going to get worse, and I'll need time off, which will leave her without someone to cover her work while she's having treatment. I'm worried about what might happen if that eventuates. Will I be seen as lazy if she can come to work with cancer, but pregnancy knocks me flat on my back? Is that a stupid thing to worry about??? How ironic that the chain-smoking, alcoholic old crone in our dept is 'healthy' and my good friend, and mum away from home who is all about healthy living gets cancer! Life is cruel. And they picked the wrong one, dangit! Ok, rant over.

    I hope everyone is well.

Bons- Oh damnit! i thought u were defintely onto something.. hopefully it is a little early. Will u try again in a couple days or just wait til af is late?? I hope if u do have to keep trying next cycle that u O close to when dh is home on the weekend or that he has super sperm that will live for a few days! Hope ur holding up ok.. doesnt that 1 line suck.. i am NEVER going to look at one ever again.. it will be 2 lines or nothing! Oh and ur just about willing to try anything to fall pg?? u cld try egg whites! haha not sure if u knew T-Hopes when she was in this thread but she tried it out for a while! shes now pg so it must work! i personally dont think i cld do it tho.. lets give preseed a go first hey..??! xx

Mum22- My preseed didnt come today! i was so sad.. oh well i dont think ill be Oing til next week anyway. Cant wait to try it out!!

Damprye- Have u set a date yet for ur scan?? is it just to see if ur pcos is a bit better??

Kellbell- Ooohh 2ww u poor thing! I dont think anyone is in it at the moment with u. So funny that ur dh says that hes oversexed!! like u said u can never win!! Mine is whinging now cos i have told him we can only do it once a day! he works away quite a bit tho so its understandable

Clairesmummy- Glad ur feeling a bit better.. lovely that ur dd was looking after u so well. How far away from O time are u?? Bring on babymaking spring time!!

Forshelby- Weird that u are thinking of going to melbourne when ur about 18 weeks.. we are organising our Darwin trip for when im 18 weeks pg (assuming i fall this month haha.. positive thinking!!!) im so very sad.. counting how many weeks ill be when im not even pg yet!! golly gosh!! With that guy at work.. i wld defintely go for sarcasm too.. like Ill listen to ur advice once u have been pg. Just know that ppl that pick like that and are judgemental arent happy with themselves so they have to make other ppl look and feel bad. Its a bit of a tough one re ur work situation.. im sure ur friend will understand tho if u do need an occasional day off.. so is she still doing a few shifts whenever she can?? just maybe suss out when her treatments will be and when she will really need u to be at work and then just try ur hardest to get thru those days.
And yes lets hope its as easy as using the preseed this month to achieve my bfp!!

MsKara- Oh that bt sounds awful! u poor thing! Make sure u tell us the results when u find out tomoro. Ur symptoms are still sounding great so im sure it will all be fine.

Hi Dory- Thinking of u and that big tummy!!

Possum- When are u going for another bt?? Bet ur just dying to be able to start ttc again. It was absolute hell when af didnt show up 4 wks after my m/c and i was still waiting at 9 weeks. I really thought i wld be one of those ppl that wld fall straight away.. but nope! my body failed miserably! Hope ur doing alright and it will all be over soon. xx

AFM- DH came home this arvo.. he has to go again on sunday until maybe monday or tuesday.. im hoping monday! I did an opk yesterday and today but theres no line whatsoever! which is really weird cos last month i had a faint line for about a week until O day. Its got me a bit puzzled.. i hope that doesnt mean Im going to O even later then day 18 this month. Ill do another one tomoro.. hopefully theres a faint line! I am really hoping that i didnt O early and we missed it.. surely not tho. We got a really good fully loaded (hehe) bd in this arvo.. just to be on the safe side.
Have a great weekend everybody!!! Nite nite xxx

Forshelby- I would be telling that woman that keeps coughing in your face to go have another smoke if she did that to me, how rude of her, I am a smoker as well but I have cut back and I am trying my very best to give em the flick and in saying that I would never cough in someones face that's just disgusting. Maybe when she does it to you next time you could give her a chunk of your MS on her shoes....lol.....I am so sorry to hear your friend has cancer, my mum went through chemo last year and it was a tough 12 months for us all, mum is now in the clear and has check ups every 3 months with her specialist. I pray for her everyday and for all the families and friends that have to go through such a horrible heart staking journey. So I wish your friend all the very best and huge hugs to you it's hard to stay strong for them.
Reet- I usually O around the 13-14days after AF starts I'm hoping this month will be the same, thinking I may give these OPK a go I have never used one before or know anything about them I'm guessing they are a bit like a HPT and you just pee on the stick to see if you are Oing yet. Please correct me if I am wrong as I really have no idea, I usually just go on my CM but hey that hasn't worked for me yet so it might be time to try something new. I hope you bd comes up trumps for you this month FX for you.
AFM- Well not much to tell AF has now left on time and heading for O day (i hope) 7 days to go and let the bd-ing begin once again. It's been pouring rain here all night and all day so we are stuck inside today so I have been doing some baking for DF and DD. Keeping myself busy and away from the telly...lol....hope you are all having a great week end.

Reet - Yes, you WILL be 18 weeks when you go to Darwin. It's not sad to plan ahead! And no, my fairy godmother (that's what I call my friend at work, lol) isn't going to be missing much work at all. She plans to have treatment, and then come to work! She's amazing. I guess if she can battle through this, I can just take a few 'vomit breaks' and get back to business... lol. Stay positive, hun, this is YOUR MONTH! I just feel it. Oh and my last round of OPKs was different to the first lot, so don't stress. I remember feeling all down and out, thinking I missed my O, and there it was, about a week later than I expected it! It seems a bit of am bd did the trick of us.. hehehe. Best timing ever, I think. You can do it! (Could you please sing the campbells chunky 'fully loaded man' song to your DH for me? LOL)

Clairesmummy - She coughs EVERYWHERE. Not so much right in my face, but in my general vicinity... spraying her germs all around. She does it on the phone to customers, staff members.... she even blows her nose while talking to customers. LOUDLY. I keep telling her to use her frigging mute button, that's what it's for! But no, her response is 'I can't help it'. What, being an inconsiderate old prune? LOL... it's sickening, really. I guess maybe I won't be able to help it if I throw up on her shoes, or desk.... handbag... LOL. I can't wait to get away from her, she's a freak. Enough about her though, glad you're enjoying some lovely indoors activities like baking. Nothing better on a rainy day! G/L for your bd bonanza!!!

AFM, Heading to the doctor in about an hour.... feeling incredibly nervous and I don't know why. Yesterday was officially the day I miscarried in my last pg, so I should be feeling good. I'm just, edgy. I'm scared they'll tell me baby is measuring too small and that I'll mc again. I have no reason to think this, but that's just what's going through my mind right now. Ms is still getting stronger (though I have the odd 'clear' day) and I'm getting the weird taste in my mouth, big blue veins on my boobs (sexy..) and bloating to the max. I look very pg, even though I'm not even showing! I just can't stop eating, and am looking very volumptuous. Not voluptuous, voLUMPtuous. hahaha... Anyhoo, I might go and distract myself with a hot shower before I head to the doc. Excuse me while I put my boots on so I can quiver in them.

Oh and I will update you all when I get back, hopefully with good news. FX......

Clairesmummy: woot to waving goodbye to AF for hopefully another 10 months or so

dory: I had to laugh at you forgetting what you'd said as well! That's a true preggo brain right there

forshelby: Damn right I enjoyed my Big Mac! lol. Thankfully at work noone would comment on my diet, they're usually the ones saying "eat what you want!!". I'm sorry your friend is going through this. I know it's hard, but just try to remember why you're sick... it's so worth it!!

Reet: Yay for DH being home! How did you got with the OPK?

I got my bt back this morning and my HCG levels are at 25416, which seems to be right in the middle for 6 weeks. I'm pretty happy with that! I'm going to wait till I see the OB on Tuesday to ask about another.

AFM ~ At tail end of AF. Im going to Warnambool this week coming for a work summit which will be great in keeping my mind off everything because now I just want August to fly by ready for getting prepared for IVF October. I also have my families annual charity ball next Sat night in honour of my sis - raising funds for kidney disease research in kids - should also be a great night - sad but should be fun. Also this time last year I was undergoing our 1st IVF cycle, the day after the ball I had to go in for my transfer - sad to think its been a year and still no closer to our little miracle.

    Take care everyone xoxo

Clairesmummy - Oh don't even get me started on that freak... lol. I will enjoy the handbag idea every time she irritates me though. Just the scent of her boozy, cigarettey waftiness makes me gag. I swear I thought I was in a nightclub for a second, not my office. LOL

MsKara - UMMMM... did I read wrong? Those HCG numbers are hiiiigh! My last bt was at 5 weeks pg though, so I guess I should still be proud of my 2200. Does your name stand for 'morning sickness kara' ??hehe... It should with numbers like that! OMG

Loops - It can't have been an easy year. I hope the charity ball goes well, AND your round of IVF! Best of luck!

AFM, Good news, apparently! I got in to see my old doctor from last pg (it was nice that he didn't remember me, as it was years ago now... so it felt all fresh and new but at the same time slightly familiar.) Anyway, he actually used the words 'Everything looks perfect'. PERFECT? You're using that word in relation to MY pregnancy? I was pretty chuffed. He checked out the notes from my ultrasound, blood tests, and seemed to think everything was going swimmingly.

So I've passed a few major milestones as Kit said. Got past the 6 week mark, got to see a hb, past the point of my mc, and now have been told everything is A-OK. *huge sigh of relief* I think I'm really bringing this bubby home! It's starting to feel real.

I'm booking in for my nuchal translucency in week 12. Only 4 weeks to go and I'm into the 2nd trimester. I couldn't have done this without the support of all of you wonderful women. Thank you all so much for your encouragement, wisdom, and humour. Love you guys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Also, sorry if this is all gushy and annoying.... totally understand if you think it's time I move on. Still love you guys though, even if it's time for me to go.

Reet, Oh that the preseed didnt come. Should arrive monday...I bet you will be at the mailbox waiting...he he

Clairesmummy, opk tests are sorta like HPT tests, BUT 2 lines is not a + the test line has to be nearly as dark or as dark or darker than the control line from my experience. Actually, from my experience if I was to be perfectly honestt, the test line is (usually) just nearly as dark but never as dark for the +. You will see what I mean when you start using them, most tests will have either 1 line or 2 lines with the test line being a shaded or 50% the shade of the control line....they are - tests. Hope this makes sense. PM me if you need any help

Decided to make a list LOL

    TTC
    Mum22-
ClairesMummy- Get that sausage sizzling woman lol.
Reet- I go for my scans on Thursday and Friday. I so hope that you O while DH is around.
Bons- I can't stand shakes lol but the Duromine should be fine, I have been on it before but this time I need to listen to my body more. How did DS enjoy the circus?
Possum- I hope your numbers drop completely soon so you can get back on the TTC wagon.
Kellbell- How is the TTW going?
    Kezzy-
    Crafty-
    Saffy-
    AJello-

    IVF
Loops- Every day is another day closer to that lil miracle finding its way to you. Bring on October.
    Matthew's Mum-
    Alice-

    Not, not TTC
    MinnnieMouse-
    Damprye-
    Sara-

    BFPs
ForShelby- Congrats on all the milestones to date and I wish you many more to come
    Dory-
MsKara- Thank you and those numbers are FANTASTIC!
    Iona-
    Murraycod-

Sorry if I have gotten anything wrong or missed anyone and that I didn't do persies for everyone
If any lurkers want a place on the list just let me know

It is so awesome to see so many BFPs coming out of this group I think we need to double those numbers this month though lol come on bubbas, stick in our bellies.

AFM- I have a scan on Thursday morning to check on my liver and then another Friday morning to check my PCOS and to make sure there isn't a sneaky bub before I start Duromine which I am hoping doesn't affect my liver but it is a catch 22, to fix everything I need to lose weight but the help to lose weight can also make everything worse. I have tried to lose weight naturally, tried very hard but it doesn't seem to get me very far. I need to go to a fat camp
I get to see DP tonight so I am somewhat happy. I am usually extatic when I am going to see him but I feel very nervous and I have no idea why.

Thanks Loops & Clairesmummy for your lovely words. I don't want to leave this thread just yet.

Damprye - Thanks, hun. I'm starting to let go of my fear just a little bit. Good luck for your upcoming scans. And LOL@ the fat camp comment... you goose!

Reet - Naughtiness update here: DP and I DTD for the first time in the last 2 weeks. I'll pause here while you make a horrified expression. LOL... I've just felt really un-interested (and sick as a dog), and he hasn't seemed to mind, so why push it? Just thought I'd share that with you so you can scare your DH with another horror story. You tell him he's got it good!!!

AFM, Grocery shopping today was a bit of an ordeal again! I seem to have lost my grocery mojo! Nothing is appealing, and the meat... oh the meat. *GAG* We walked past a butchers shop and they had (you're not going to believe it) CHICKEN pops. It's chicken, mooshed up into a mincey pasty type substance, with a paddlepop stick shoved in it. Oh my.... it turns my stomach just thinking about them! DP kept talking about them and making disgusting sounds and I had my hand over my mouth and kept waving at him like STOPPPP!!!! LOL... he thought it was very amusing. So, I guess after that, once we got into coles I felt pretty rotten. Even the blandest of bland things turned me off. It seems ms for me consists largely of feeling hungover, and not wanting to eat anything. Then all of a sudden I become STARVING, and feel even worse. I think I've gotten off lightly to experience such mild symptoms.

Oh Oh, and I got myself a belly belt! Finally!!!!! No more work pants crushing the life out of me! And no more risking my pants falling right off from having them undone. LOL. Can't wait to try it out tomorrow.

That was a lot of me-ness, but you guys have been so quiet this weekend, I thought I'd better fill the silence. Hehehehehe... Hope everyone had a good weekend. Obviously there's a lot of bding going on!!!
