My period started today (no surprise, really). I go for bloodwork Thursday and start a clomid challenge test on Saturday to assess the general condition of my eggs. DH is going on a business trip from tomorrow til Friday, so it's just the kids and me. ugh

TM - I am sorry to hear that AF arrived. Hopefully though starting the Clomid etc will help things along for you.
Well...I did a test yesterday afternoon (stupid really!) and it came back negative. The urine was really weak though, so decided to do another with FMU today. It showed the faintest line - so went back to sleep and then did another when i got up about an hour and a half later. This time the line was a bit darker but still faint. I am not announcing any BFPs yet, as I want to do another test tomorrow morning with a different brand and see what happens. Regardless of the tests though - my temp went up again this morning and I still do not have AF so all it not lost just yet.
I wasn't going to write anything today but just had to say something! I have a kinesiology session this afternoon so will tell her I 'might' be pregnant and see what she can do to help. I have no idea how I will sleep the night through!

I only just found the new thread so i havent caught up on any reading, sorry for the lack of support from me lately!! I will have a good read tonight... katie Girll i did catch something about your dad being insensitive... mine has had more than a few slip ups and "bad jokes" only he likes to deny it afterwards... so we arnt speaking at the moment cause the last time he said soemthing to upset me, he denied saying it, and i got a bit angry and yelled at him on the phone saying "you did beeeping so say that!!" He hung up on me and we havent spoken since, not even to call and congratulate me on being pregnant again. Oh well, his loss this time if he doesnt get to meet his grandchild. Sad i know, but his loss, i have had mine.

ok! update...
could'nt resist testing but got another fat neg!That was this morning in my morning tea break) I have started to very slightly slightly cramp this afternoon and when i went to the toilet just before and when i wiped i got the faintest lightest blood smear. So i don't know what my body is doing still...so maybe AF is on its way and this is all a major tease. i got really disappointed by the BFN today, so it was a ****ty start to it but will now def wait the next few days as i'm sure AF will be here by FRI unfortuneately.
Katie - I AM SO EXCITED FOR YOU! I really hope this is it for you, please please please keep us posted and i will have to pay some extra visits to mum and dads and take over their computer to keep updated! Really hope it works out, good luck! I won't say anymore so i don't jinx it!!!! Sending you loads of

Barbara - At least you can mark one part of the reno off, good luck with the kitchen, just think of how great it will all be at the end. You are so brave to have tackled a reno in the first place! We wussed out! And i am glad you and DH are ok again!

for me AF is still not here - no symptoms either way so just trying to keep busy and not test till the weekend ...agghh the waiting is killing me!!!

DH work offered to pay for councelling after Lani died and he has always said that he would go with me - not that he feels he needs it but will support me and go with me. i keep asking and asking him to organise it and he always forgets to ring. today i asked him and he said he would ring when we are both home from work rather than him just ringing and saying "i'm ringing on behalf of my wife to organise councelling" anyway i got really p**** off because i see it as something for both of us. apparantley he's completely fine - i just dont get how less than 3 months ago he held his DD in his arms as she took her last breath and apparently now, in his own words, is "completely fine" to be honest i think he actually is fine and that is what probably annoys me even more!!! i dont feel like i'm in desperate need of help but i just figure that its been offered and it can only help us. anyway we will sort it out but just needed to get it out of my system!!! thanks
DH is in the kitchen as i type cooking my dinner so i guess i cant complain too much!!!!

Hi all. Well I won't hold out any longer. I woke up at 5:30am and realised I was not going to get back to sleep, so I woke DH and told him that I was going to go and test. I did 2 tests - the brand I used yesterday (and on Tues when I got the negative) and a new one - Discover. Well.....the Discover came up straight away with a!!! The other one - Pregnosis came up with a slightly darker than yesterday but still faint positive. So I guess this is all pretty conclusive. I am happy, excited, stunned, shocked, nervous, scared....you name it! I don't think it has fully sunk in yet. My kinesiologist made me up a flower essence mix yesterday and she told me it will help with my fear (which is high). I am going to call the GP this morning and try make an appointment for tomorrow to get the BT to confirm. I also need to call my Ob to let him know. The appointment we have with him in 3 weeks will be at the 7 week mark so that will work well.
Thank you all for your positive vibes and support. I have really appreciated it. I just hope you can all join me soon as I would love to be sharing this journey with you all as well.
Jo - I agree that until you get AF you are still in with a chance. I did a test yesterday afternoon and it was so faint that it was inconclusive. Maybe wait a couple of days and do one first thing in the morning. If you are still early in your preg, some tests don't pick it up as well as others.
Simba - I think men find it hard to 'ask' for help and maybe that is how your DH views counselling. I definitely think you should take up his work's generous offer. Your DH might find that he enjoys or finds the sessions useful. I think it is a good idea to do one together and then maybe 1 just you - that way you can really concentrate on how you are feeling.
Barbara - good luck with the kitchen. I hope this next cycle brings good news.
TM - and I am hoping you have good news as well. You have been so strong throughout your trials of late.
Well that is it from me....I hope this has bought you all some hope for the future. I really want to allow myself to enjoy this pregnancy but I still feel apprehensive.
