Klee: I am feeling ok. About to get some CTG monitioring (don't ask me what that stands for) but it is when they monitor bubs heartrate, momement and any contractions you are getting for about 30 mins to an hour. I am having it twice a week because it gives you a good indication of the health of the baby. I am getting a little impatient but I am also so disorganised that I'll need the next few weeks to get ready.
I'll pop in later today after my appointment to see how you are.
No sign of AF yet - still peeing every half hour or so (TMI)
I am getting a bit crampy, and really hungry. That could be my new vitamins though.
I am so good at convincing myself i am pregnant, and i'm also pretty good at convincing myself i am not. I can go either way depending on the time of day......
And someones poopy DH is against HPT.... He asked last night if i think we have made a baby yet, i said i will know on thursday, if i dont get my period i will be doing a test. Grumpy bum said there is no point - if i get my period its pretty obvious i'm not, and if i dont get it i am.
Well, i am not going to spend the next week wondering if AF is going to show. I am doing a test on Wed or Thursday - unless AF shows before that.....
Doesn't he realise there are only a few happy moments i will be 100% thrilled about in this pregnancy, and one of them is the TEST!!!!! I try to explain , but i cant get past his male logic.
Not to worry, if he wants to be a spoil sport, i will do it without him and share with all of you !!!
Back to work for now - i have some catching up to do.......

Well there will be lots of bd'ing (especially as dr told DH to refrain from it until ovulation, he's been waiting for 10 days! LOL!)
But if that dosen't work, DH had his appointment with another Dr today who has referred him/us to a fertility specialist, I can't beleive it was as easy as that, especially after the stuffing around from the other Dr.

I wish more doctors could understand how heartbreaking all of this is- it is more than just their day jobs, it is our sanity and our dreams that they just brush away as they move on to their next appointment. I had a bad experience with a doctor who didnt care enough and hearing things like what has been happeneing with jo and her dh just re-affirms to me that sometimes there are doctors in this feild that just dont get it. And that is really sad for women and men in our situations. Especially when they get paid so much to be such wan#ers.

Hey girls my appointment went really well and should give me my fix until my next appointment.
Klee: all this talk of loins has me in stitches, glad to hear that you sound upbeat. Tell the witch I have my eye on her and if she dares come back next month I am going to kick her butt.
Starbright: Wow you are stronger than me girl resisting the urge to POAS. I tested like mad when I was trying to get a BFP, I even tested when I had AF just in case it was implantation bleeding, I put that one down to a moment of insanity. Well I am sening you every little ounce of I can muster.
Jo: 10 days, I'm surprised he hasn't burst (lol) My DH used to be away for long stretches with the army so much he has had to learn to deal with it. He turns into a animal when he gets home though (lol) Enjoy tonight
Well girls, i am nearly heading home for the day. I have tomorrow off... if there is anything to report, i will make the effort to come in and share... good or bad.
i usually get together with my mum on wednesdays, and if i tell her how close i might be, no doubt she will encourage me to test. without ganging up on DH, we will win!!!!!!!!!

one reason i think i am so set on waiting til i am actually late to test, is subconiously to do with my missed miscarrage- from memory i think i did test early, and then had a missed miscarrage, so i am set on waiting til i am late.

I dont want to do it like behind his back, but he is taking all my fun out of it. he is going to be the same when i want to find out the flavour.... he just gets this sad little boy look and says," cant we do any of it my way?" or "i dont care what sex it is, it doesn't matter, so i dont want to know." if it doesn't matter to him that much then why cant i know????? it does matter to me.... not so much one sex over the other, i just want to know what is inside me. Men just dont understand.

Deb/Nat - mel has asked me to post on her behalf, the computers at her work are pretty slow but she basically wants to know whether she should ask to have further bloods done re her anticardiolipin antibody levels. she's been thinking that maybe if the levels arent as low as the OB originally found it might inhibit her ability to conceive and that maybe its something to do with the blood condition. Basically she is just wondering if you can think of anything she hasnt done or tried or any tests she hasnt had.
