Not much going on here... very cold so we're not getting out much lately Am reading the 'No Cry Sleep Solution' book and will be doing my 'sleep logs' tomorrow - wish me luck!
Am about to post a new photo of Liam doing 'tummy time'. We got him a special cushion for him to use to help him enjoy tummy time - it's in the photo...
Tried to start a diet today but kinda fell off the rails when DH wanted chips for tea. Didn't want to go out, so I made beer battered potato cakes. Don't think it was any healthier than bought chips - except at least I know there's real potato in there! Also had half a piece of fish (only one left in the freezer, so we went halves!). Then DH went and found a pack of yummy bikkies (**** Smiths melting moments) in the cupboard, so I HAD to have 2 of those!
Nettie - I think you are very good for only having 2 melting moments if my DH brought out melting moments I'd have polished off the packet.
I need to start eating better, not so much am I concerned about weight as I am about being unhealthy. I was sooooo good for soooo long and then I went to eating garbage again. Must get back onto a more natural diet, give DD some good milk instead of this calorie laden milk.
She is asleep now and since I am having "it's difficult to cope" days I'm going to have a glass of red wine to settle myself for the evening.
How are things? Everything fine here... Could do with extra pair of hands at times.
Nettie: I am wanting to get on the diet wagon as well. I try and eat right, but what I think is right might not be right. I mean I have meat and vegies, sandwiches, pasta, and breakfast.
*Excerise well we are in same boat here, its to cold to get out and about. DH not home early enough for me to go to gym with GF.
Grubi: Its good to here you had a better day, yesterday.. Wyatt going though same sort of thing, little bugger during day only have naps, but sleeps fine at night time...
* How did you go getting Greer to sleep by her self in cot?
Will dash Wyatt is calling, will check back in here later and ramble on some more, so you all have something to read. LOL
sarah must be a relief to find out you aren't pregnant. I think most of the bubs in here seem to be catnappers, I know Oliver is most of the time during the day, although he will occasionally do a 1.5 - 2 hour sleep (usually one of the morning ones) alittlegrubi I know how you feel about wanting to escape sometimes, there are some days I think I need a 'double dose' of my happy pills, and I constantly get the 'don't want to go's' as I like to call them when I am supposed to go out somewhere just because I don't want to have to deal with (socialise and put on a happy face) other people, would prefer to be on my own. Hope you had a good day yesterday with your BF. Zennie it's a shame that Russell seems to be self weening, but you have done a great job to BF him for this long. Nettie where did you get Liam's tummy time pillow from? Oliver hates being flat on his stomach and I think that something like that might help him to enjoy it a bit more. As for the dieting thing, while reading through yesterdays posts, I have eaten 6 mint slice biscuits and I enjoyed every one of them. BW haven't seen you here for a few days, hope you are going ok.
Hi to anyone I missed.
It is so quiet in here lately, maybe people just don't have much going on or happening at the moment so they don't feel the need to post.
Sarah Greer sleeps in her cot by herself for the sleep that starts at around 1-2pm and her first nighttime sleep usually starting between 6 and 7pm. Last night she slept from 6.30pm to 11.30pm in her cot.
Sharon Yum, mint slice - I'm going to buy some chocolate biscuits and melying moments when I do the shopping now. Yes Monday was definitely one of those I don't wanna days for me. Spent 3 hours with my BF, it wasn't too bad, just watching DVDs with the kids and chatting - was pooring with rain yesterday so we couldn't do much with 4 kids in toe. We talked about organizing DHs to have the kids one night next week and go out for a coffee or three and cake.
No dieting for me
It's always good to know you're not the only one having these experiences, both how bubs is and how we are.
thanks everyone for making me feel better.
Second Sharon's concern for BW, Shellbelland Clueless hope you are all just too busy and not having a hard time.
Today is shopping day so there won't be much exciting going on for me today, but I'll pop back later in the afternoon - your evening since you are all Eastern Staters.
Sharon: It was a hugh weigh off find out we are not PGT. I think since the slip people are just busier now. I know its the case for me. Only on here now 'cos wyatt sleep in pram behind me and I give him gentle rock now and then.
How is Oliver doing these days? Getting any bigger?
Grubi: So when Greer wakes up at 11:30 where does she go then? Back to her bed???
Well we went to playground at school and as always it was good to get out of house. Landon DS#1 rode his bike over, and we did painting. We took over out bubble blower to show teachers and all the kids loved it so they are planning to buy one now.
Had a lovely informed talk to another mum there. She has an adoptive son from Ethiopia. She was telling me he was about a month old when they FOUND him at local police station. Along with how long the process took, and what they have to do. At 7 months old he only weight 4.5kg. That was Wyatt when her was born. I was almost in tears. Though both her son and Landon get long good, and they will be in the same year together. She has just had a baby, and Wyatt and him will be in same class too.
We I am still trying to put these books together of some familys I took their photos for. It's has taken me 2 days, a few stuff ups at the printer. So hopefully I will have it done by this afternoon. Also I didn't plan on how many photo I was going to put on per page. So if I run out of pages tuff... They have a copy of all the prints of a CD and I made them a DVD slide show of the photos, which see really loved.
So now I am just rambling. To give you all something to read.
I had plans on painting my nails today they are at their longest, which is what also made me supect I was pregnant. I don't normally let them grow this long but, I am not really noticing them this time around.
While I'm on the subject, a HPT can't come back Neg can it? I broght twin pack so I might re-test in morning just to double check, 'cos I am still waiting for my AF. Am starting to get worried now.
Well I will go and let someone else ramble for a while. I have plenty to do, but am going to get a DVD out and a glass of milk and sit of cough and dip some choc-chip cookies in there. Haven't done that for a while. But gee its good.
P.S. Que for wyatt to wake up then.

HPTs can be negative if it is too soon, but don't worry about it yet, you might not have another AF for a couple of months and it not be due to PG.
Greer goes back into the cot if I am not being lazy and put her back in, she'll sleep for at least an hour and a half if I do that and it is usually wind pains waking her. If I fall asleep during the feed or it's too cozy I leave her next to me in the bed. She'd probably sleep in there all night she did for my Mum the night she took her, but I'm just lazy - like my sleep. Need to get to the point of not being lazy real soon though and move out of the nursery as I think DS and I wake her sometimes being in there.
I wish I had a friend like you to come and do some family pics for us. DH has a female friend who take photographs - see signature pic, but I'm not sure she'd be comfortable doing family pics. I know she secretly wants my DH, I don't care, but I think she is uncomfortable around me.
