She has a dull lamp left on in her room & her cuddly.... but it is getting to a stage where I dread her bedtime... not good i know.... but I am running our of ideas to try!!!
Hey guys
Just thought I'd check in & say hi.
Been lying fairly low the last little while as I've had some stuff to deal with & get my head around.
Can't remember if I told you guys at the end of last year about the lump I'd found in my breast & they told me it was a cyst.
Well I went for the u/s review on it to be told it wasn't a cyst & needed a biopsy which they did then & there. Turns out it is actually an atypical papilloma which needs to be removed now. So surgery has been booked for this week coming to have it removed.
Hope everyone else is keeping well & looking after their munchkins.
Good luck Amy, Hope the surgery goes well for you hun.
Well Sarah is completely day time TTed. she decided one day that she no longer likes wearing nappies. She has a few accidents but not every day. We are also TTC #3 now. And Em is going great guns. She will be one in a couple of weeks.
Hi everyone, it's been longer than ages since I have even visited BB, but I thought I'd drop in tonight seeing I have a little bit of time. It sounds like everyone's doing ok which is great. Amy, hope your surgery went alright and you've been given the all clear.
My kids are doing well. Josiah is talking up a storm, although it's only been in the last maybe 2 or 3 months. He hasn't had a dummy since about 18 months old, he just decided he didn't want it - but the bottle is a completely different story. If we let him he'd have 2 or 3 bottles at bed time!! Still a long way off from toilet training - he'll tell us when he needs a nappy change, but not when he needs to go to the toilet.
Anyway, I can hear the patter of feet running around - they should be well and truly asleep by now! Better go find out what is going on.
Bel
Ladies - I'm just popping in to let you all know that Amy (going42) was admitted to hospital last night after her waters broke. She has an infection, but is not currently in labour. If she doesn't go into labour by herself tonight, she will be induced tomorrow.
Fingers crossed that things go well tonight and bubby arrives safely. Please keep them in your thoughts as the last month or so has been quite stressful for them all.
Just noticed she hasn't updated since the surgery - went well, tumor was not cancerous and the scar is healing nicely. She was hoping to make it to bubby's due date so her breast could heal properly - but I guess bubby's got other plans.
Thanks mum3girls for keeping us updated. Amy, hope everything is going well for you. Hopefully they have you on an antibiotic drip for the infection. Hope you have a smooth labour otherwise. Great news on the surgery going well.
Well Holly too is a little chatterbox but only just recently too. She still has morning & night bottles & sometimes a nap time bottle (only at home though not day care). Whenever she sees Lanah getting a bottle she asks for one. TT was going well quite a while ago, she did 4 wees in potty, but then it all stopped, she'll still sit on it but wont do anything. I'm not really worried about either of these things though as she'll do it in her own time.
Lanah is not walking just yet, she just turned one last Thurs, she's taken a few steps. Taking her to an ENT specialist tomorrow for her ears - resistant to antibiotics & now worst case my GP has seen in a baby, you wouldn't know it though, she's still happy most of the time.
Neither of my girls would take a dummy, so one less thing to wean them off I guess, LOL.
Holly tries to blow her own nose now, she gets the tissue, so guess she picked that up at day care, as I could never get her to do it.
Wow Ali, going for #3, good luck. ETA - sorry to hear bout your latest news (saw siggie).
Hope everyone else is well.![]()
thanks for the updates congrats Amy, Dh & Declan on the arrival of baby Abigail!!
i hope she is back in your arms and out of scn soon
Nixon did his first ever trickle in the potty yesterday, think it was a bit of a fluke but hey there was a tiny little wee in there!
Tyron is crawling around everywhere, pulling himself up and cruising along furniture, gosh at this age Nixon had just mastered sitting!
Hi guys OMG it has been like over a year since I have posted here and so much has happened in that time. we sold our house lived with the in laws for 9 mths OMG only just survived are now living in our beautiful new house only metres from the beach and it is just awesome. Declan just doen't stop growing and learning he is such a beautiful affectionate little man.
He hates it when he sees ppl upset or hurt one of his most common phrases is "u ok"
He is totally obssessed with Toy Story and Buzz in particular and like most todlers thinks the wiggles are awesome.
I can't believe these little ppl are all about to turn 3 it just seems so surreal
And I see that so many of you have had 2nd bubs as well congrats to you all, unfortunatly my dh is still not keen and the cost of day care is not helping my case but well that is life I guess.
I have been promoted twice since I started my new job back December last year which I guess is why I have not been around the site much.
But now with my new computer and wireless net I find myself surfing at night.
Declan is still a shocking sleeper but I think I am just used to it now and I think we have finally figured out why turns out Declans tonsills are abnormally large which is why he snores and the doc thinks may wake him up as he may not be getting enough oxygen he has to have xrays to confirm but they will be most likely removed sometime this year. Have 6 bouts of infection in 8 mths in the later part of last year I am sure you can imagine this will be such a relief.
Well I shall pop in from time to time would be great to see what everyone is up too.
Hope you had a wonderful christmas and are enjoying the new year
