    Hey All.....
Nothing much going on around here....Beau has settled back into his day sleeps now we are home from my brothers, he has taken to waking REALLY early though, like 4am-5am We had friends over this weekend, they have a boy Beau's age and a baby girl, 4months. It was lovely getting lots of cuddles in as she is the most settled baby I have ever seen! Didnt even cry once the whole weekend! Very chilled indeed.
Beau is popping out new words all the time which is fun, yesterday it was "Eyebrow" - some of the words are so cute that I prompt him to say them just so I can hear, like 'butterfly" and "bubbles".... I had a lady I work for over yesterday to plan for windows/design the baby clothes/store layout stuff while Beau was here of course....lets say it was interesting!! I am going to there place on Friday to finish off....I told her it would be unproductive with Beau here but some people know best I paid for it after she left as he was paying me back for zero attention, got all our solar lights out of the garden bed and through them on the concrete little bugger!!
Hope Ben and Dylan had great birthdays, lucky Dylan popping through some teeth! I am sure he got loads of pressies too Kris knowing you! Who is up next for birthdays? I think we are having a low key bbq here with the Grandparents for Beau next month
OK, better go and get dressed and get out somewhere with this boy, hope everyone is well.

    HEy all,
We had a crappy night with Becca, she ended up in our bed from 3am. Anyway shes fine now!!! Olivia is still asleep and has slept through. She went to mums yesterday so I think 3 flights of stairs have tired her out. She actually took a tumble down them and banged her head and then she slipped in the bath and hit the other side!!!
Jen isnt it nice with all the new words.....unfortunately mine parrots everything, including when I said "for f's sake'....now she says it all the time, but I told her its "oh cake cake"...seem to work. Then yesterday my brother dropped the f word and she said it right back. Oh no!!! I have to change my ferral habbit.
I chopped my hair off yesterday, about 6 inches worth. Its sitting on my shoulders now. At least Rebecca isnt pulling it. I have so mch book work to do, looks like I will be up half the night tonight, as the book keeper is coming tomorrow to do the BAS. I just have been so busy with the girls, being sick for ages, going away....sleepless nights!!! Anyway, am off to an indoor play centre today for mothers group. Finally get to meet the new addition to our group, a little boy named Isaac.
Ok breaky time...oh has anyone heard from Kel??? I'm not sure if Lil has had her birthday or Pip is next.
    Tale care

    Hi!

Jen - Bugger at the early wake ups! My boys are up a bit earlier at the moment - around 6.30-7am but bubs was up at 5.40am today- grrr! I agree with all the words also - Dylan was sitting at the table the other day crossing his arms going "I'm very cross" and we just laughed so much and he got all cranky and then looks at us and goes "not funny guys" needless to say we laughed a whole lot more and then he joined in! LOL! so cute. I also love the singing and dancing - everything about this age - this is what I love about having kids!!! I could easily skip the baby part - LOL!!!
I actually didn't do much for pressies at all - we have so much already I didn't really know what to get - he got a big floor puzzle of finding nemo (which he can do in a flash already!) some other little puzzles and a gorgeous little dinosaur that are new out at the shops - so cute! He got quite a bit from family though as well so he was more than happy - he's really not that fussed about pressies I must say...

Mel - Have fun heading out today! Yeah at getting a hair cut - I need one desperately! Poor Olivia falling down the stairs and falling in the bath - Hope she's ok!! LOL at her copying the swearing...Dylan says s**t but in a way that luckily no-one really picks up on! LOL!

Hmm - Was thinking we haven't heard from Kel for a while - Hope everythings ok!

Better run and finish getting them brekky...Chat later!

    Hey All...
Wow Beau is really pushing my buttons today! I thought we would stay home and do some gardening together - mistake! Throwing the sensor lights, squeezing the dogs around the eyes, picking up dog poo....you name it! I gave him a few taps on the nappy as he had already been on the naughty step and I was so frustrated! Not that they can feel it through the nappy I guess....how is everyone else going with discipline?
Mel - Sorry to hear Olivia had a few bumps! Stairs are such a novelty at the moment arent they? (when you dont have the at home) I got a scare at the park the other day cause Beau landed on his arm off the big slippery dip, its back to holding my hand for a while on that! Good on you getting your hair chopped! Oops at Olivia parroting certain words.....I guess having babies cleans up our speech!
Kris-Ummm Dylan sounds like he is 20 years old! Not two! Hilarious! Yeah I think they get so much just regularly, toy wise, aswell, like Beau has a new obsession with cars and I cant wait to keep them for next month so he got them yesterday - I am hopeless! But you know, whatever keeps them happy for a while sometimes!
I have to go to the lady I do work for occaisonally house tomorrow to finish the planning we started on Tuesday, DH is having the day off to care for the dog poo handler!! Good luck!!

Hi guys Sorry, no personals today, we're just back from the hospital and I'm a bit short on time.

Sunday at Ben's party, Jared took a turn for the worse so we headed off to emergency, cutting poor Ben's party short. We were sent to a different hospital with a referral for immediate attention, which we almost got After the pead saw Jared he was admitted right away and put on a special new oxygen machine thingy that they're trialling to replace 'head boxes' (those humidified crib thingys). So that was Sunday... yesterday he was taken off that machine and put on normal oxygen and he came off that last night. He's done really well to recover from the illness (RVS virus which lead to Bronchialitis (sp) ) so quickly, the doctors were rather impressed. He was really ill on Sunday and Monday but the oxygen machine did the trick. The doc also said that he recovered sooner because he was being breastfed and because he was such a big boy for three months - I knew his chunkiness would come in handy some day

Anyway, we're home now. Ben finally got to open up his pressies after his party was called off as soon as the cake was cut - poor boy! I spent my first night away from Ben the night before his birthday, so he woke up without me for only the second time on his birthday! The first time he woke up without me was when Jared was born.

BTW, Craig did a fantastic job while I was gone! I came home to a tidy house and laundry almost up to date! I'm just happy he didn't attempt to do the ironing, that could have ended badly

Oh Mel hon am so glad that hes ok, poor little mite. Wow it must have been scary. Hope Ben evetually had a good time and enjoyed his birthday. How did you hold up?

Jen- hugs to you too...I HATE dog poo, especially when its in their hands! Olivias been climbing mums stairs sice she could...around 10 months old and shes quite competant. I think she was actually holding things in her hands. Shes ok though. Tough little tacker.

Kris- still have to catch up with you, times going so quick. Last time we saw each other we were pregnant!

The girls went to occassional care for 3 hours this morning. OLivia wasnt to impressed, but managed. I got lots done, I have clean floors!

    kel and kaz....where r u?

Oh no Von, I hope your Dad & J are OK, what a stress & strain for you!

Mel, poor little Jared, what a scare. Lucky the paed saw you quickly, it's a horrid thing to wait at the emergency ward.

Jen - what a little monkey! Pip is just as bad when he's in a mood.

Kris - eye teeth - How many teeth does D have left to come through?

Us - well pip's b/day is on Sunday, and we're having it at the SiL's, glad we are cause its supposed to be cold & miserable - my mum& dad are coming down from brissie, where the forecast is for 31deg, not 8-9 deg! We're having an icecream cake in the shape of a firetruck, and that's the only extravagance! Haven't got him a pressie yet - doh.

... and ... the doc has given me the all-clear to TTC!

    Hi All,
Wow Dis that is awful about Jared, how scary it must have been for you - glad he responded quickly to treatment and is on the mend. Poor Ben had a bit of a flop birthday hey? Oh well there will be plenty more for him to share with Jared too
Mel - Go for it, spend away! I only have about half of mine left and just asked Dh if we can use some of "his" on a big bed for Beau! I think we have decided to cut down a box frame under storage type we have in a double and get a new mattress and I will paint up the frame.....doh! I thought there would be an Ikea trip in it for sure! Glad you had big sleeps. Wow at Olvia climbing stairs at 10 months - cute! Beau thinks they are wonderful as we dont have any (thank god)
Von- Nice to hear from you, sorry things arent so great around your way, how does the disease affect James?x
Kaz - Hope Pips party goes well, rug up you poor things! Good luck TTC and congratulations!!
Us- I worked today and Beau decided it was party time at 1am - DH got up to him (but the living room is next to our room so he may as well not have bothered really!) and decided to watch Spongebob with him and give him a bottle.....needless to say I got up and put him back in bed (I dont want to start any midnight Spongebob habits NOW) and then he was up at 5am for good. Ick. Like having a newborn again. Hope its teeth and he hasnt decided to punish us or something
    Ok, I am off!

Melissa-We had an elmo cake last year for James' 1st bday although when i say elmo cake i just stuck an elmo edible cake topper I saw at the supermarket on top ..lol as for how am i coping I don't think I am.. lol but what can you do..don't have time to stay in bed all day and feel miserbale..Hope you have fun looking for a table..I am thinking of going guniea pig shopping....

Jen-James has been waking up alot the past few weeks driving me mental and been waking up at 5 am and just want go back to bed after that...It is causing DH and i to fight alot as he hates being woken up and well i feel that i have been up all night with him so the least he can do is get up at 5am hoping this is just a phase with ds and it will pass quickly....the effect the disease has on james is that basically he is sick constently if there is a cold/flu/virus going around he will get it but more severe, so daycare is out for him at this time..a common cold can end up more serious with him and can very easily become life threatening..I always knew something was woring with ds but no one would listen I mean he has been on antibiotics every 2nd month since he was born and even when he was born he was antib's as he was born with a dangerously high temp.....ok sorry about the long reply Jen I just have not had anyone to talk to about it all since we found out...

Kel-sounds like you had a great 2 weeks in Qld...

us-As mentioned in my long reply to Jen...things are pretty crazy around here with James not sleeping DH and I fighting because of the lack of sleep we are all getting and James is sick yet again....The only person here doing well is DD

    Hi!

Grrr...I keep not getting notifications - it's driving me crazy! LOL!

Dis - OMG - What a time you guys have been through! I'm so glad to hear that Jared's all better!!! Poor Ben on his b'day as well!! Yeah at dh for doing so well with everything also!!

Jen - Sorry to hear Beau's been giving you some grief! Discipline is going well here...Dylan has settled down soo much lately - I cannot stress how important persistance is...we've been at him for a year now and it's all finally sinking in...Not to say he's never naughty and he does still have some good tantrums but not half as bad as he was...
Oh no at him waking up in the night...hope that stops quickly! I don't blame you for putting an end to th spongebob antics - LOL!

Mel - Yeah at getting stuff done while the girls were in care!! If you're free on next Sunday (3rd May) I'm having a tupperware party if you want to come over!! You don't have to buy anything but just come around and the kids can have a play and we can have a catch up!!

Von - I'm so sorry to hear about your dad & james. What a stressful time for you! You poor thing... are you managing any time out at the moment? Don't forget to look afteryourself as well (although I know it's much easier said than done!) Happy Birthday to James also - Have you tried any natural therapies?? It may not "fix" the problem but I know a lot of people that have found it has helped a lot - Maybe a naturopath or homeopath?? Might be worth investigating...big hugs to you though...hope he starts sleeping better again soon...

Kaz - So glad to hear from you! Happy Birthday for Pip tomorrow! Sounds like he's party will be lots of fun! How exciting you are ready to TTC - I hope it happens quickly for you!!
If you're up for it next week also you are more than welcome to head over here for the tupperware party - again - you don't have to buy anything - will be just great to catch up!!
Yeah - he's got 12 teeth at the moment with 1 eye tooth through and 3 more nearly ready to come through...my boys are very slow in the tooth department! LOL!

Kel - Happy Birthday to Lily - How fantastic you had a big holiday! It must have been so nice for all of you to be away together!

As for us, we've had a busy week as per usual! LOL! Boys are well! I was so tired last night so dh gave me a massage & dealt with Ethan which was nice - then I got a sleep in this morning until 10.30am! Woohoo! Now he's out until tomorrow though do luckily I got some time out when I did! LOL!

Oh - and I'm a facebook junkie at the moment so if any of you want to add me do a search for "Kristie Visser" and my photo is of my 3 boys just in nappies!!

    Chat later!!

meh, after trying to make some kind of marshmellow topping for some yummies and can't work it out.

Yes, its a bought ice-cream cake, I can't be bothered working it out myself! I have a king-sized bed which has about 6 loads of washing to fold on it ... doh! And Pip has next-to-no clean clothes - double doh!

Von - you poor darlin', I hope you get some sleeps soon.
Jen - one of the mothers in my mum's group grabbed a bed from a kerbside colletion for her bub! He's gone straight into a full-sized bed, they have the cot mattress on the ground for him to roll onto during the night!

Mel - do get more sleep hun!

Anyhows, itme for Pip to have a nap, he's over-tired and boy are we paying for it! Or rather, his grandparents who are visiting....

ETA - Kris, I may come next week, the puffing billy race is on here and is horrid with traffic! yay on discipline. my biggest problem is that DH just yells at pip and turns up the tv to not hear him cry so i have no support there. We've had a few tanties, mostly in shopping centres, and I tend to just leave him to thump it out, and ignore him.

Oh, and i'm not getting notifictions either ...
