Geez... just read all the posts I've missed in the past week or so..... I thought things were tough for us, but now I'm thinking Ryder & I arn't doing to badly at all! He feeds every 4hrs - some breast feeds & some expressed feeds and happily accepts either or. Burbs & gets his wind up after every feed & goes straight back to sleep - sometimes this takes a bit of jiggling & bum patting but!!! Doesn't really cry a lot (except to tell us when he's hungry). He has started having more awake time now too - doesn't go back to sleep for 4 hours after his morning feed (usually from about 6am-10am), then bath time, feed time & back to sleep for 4 hours! This is the time of day that I try to go out to the shops etc (while he's clean, full belly & fast asleep!).

You poor Mum's who are feeding every 2hrs & have unsettled bubs I take my hat off to you for coping!!!!

Oh, I use a dummy with Ryder too - I know some Mums are anti dummies... but seriously, it really buys me time! I find he is always looking for boob - but if I've just fed him, I know sure as hell he's NOT HUNGRY!

Had Ryder weighed the other day too - little munchkin has put on nearly 500g in 2 weeks!!!! He does loves his milk!
