Kat 6 week check went fine, and just as I thought, I had to have a pap test (oh joy), my GP was able to get me into see the Paed on Wednesday lunchtime which is great as there is normally a week to a week and a half wait. Oh, as for Oliver's hair, there was a mum and bub at the Obs rooms today and her little boy had twice as much hair and it was close to 10cm long and he was only 6 weeks old too.
sarah there have been times when Oliver has nearly ended up in the wheelie bin. I am so sorry that you are going through this rough patch with your DH, I really don't have any advice, but I will give you this :hugs: it makes me feel so damn lucky to have a DH that is so supportive and helpful.
Beatrix my thoughts are with you, it would be tough having to get used to being a single mum of 3 kids under 4 :hugs:
BabyWrangler that's a nice weight gain for 4 weeks. Good luck with his needles tomorrow.
Danielle Oliver has been giving me the odd smile since he was about 4.5 weeks and he is just starting to smile a bit more now and the other day he was 'trying' to find his voice but he actually found it today and told me a little 'story' it was soooo cute. He tends to sleep from 6pm ish to 10.30 when I give him his 'sneaky feed' and he will then sleep through till about 4 or 5 ish will be great when that increases to 6ish.
LisyLee this may be a stupid question, but without actually seeing the granules/flecks I not sure what they look like exactly, but, are you sure they aren't the crystals that they put in disposable nappies to soak up the wee? I have a baby book that I read and it actually mentions crystals/granules on babies bum. Just a thought, tell me to shut up if you like. If you are sure it isn't that, then I would definitely take him to Dr's
Zennie sometimes Oliver has problems pooing too and the CHN suggested giving him some cooled boiled water in between feeds, she said to offer him about 30ml and most of the time the extra water will help. That's a real bugger about his nightime waking, hopefully it will sort itself out when his body clock starts working properly.

Feeling a bit down today, I was supposed to be going to see Sex and the City on Sunday with a bunch of GF, I was originally told that I didn't have to buy my ticket as one of them had purchased a whole heap, but have since found out that they have given mine away to someone else so I have to buy my own, then DH reminds me that we where going up the coast to see his dad on Sunday and I now don't have a good excuse for him to change the day because if the ticket had been bought for me I could have said I couldn't get out of it, but since I don't have a ticket, I have no excuse. But I am also sad because I don't know anyone else who wants to go and see this movie so I either don't go at all or I go and be a 'nigel no mates' and go on my own either way I feel like I have no friends (and here come the tears again). I know i'm just being stupid but I can't help the way I feel.
