Rae - Grrrrr weird families eh! So weird about the BF! SLow Cookers are great, especially when you know you won't have time in the evening to do dinner, and the delicious smell when you enter the house is divine!
Jo - How is Jess? She fell off the horse yeah? Is she scared to get back on?
Brooke - I'm with ya on the sleep reluctance! Lucie has decided she will only fall asleep in my arms. Argh!
Fletch - Don't feel like a bad mum - there are days I feel the same, like 'Lucie you are being a rat!' but then there are more days that I am totally in love with her. As someone told me a little while ago 'If they weren't so darn cute they'd be in trouble!'.
Cass - Hope your little house inhabitants disappear soon. We had a possum in our roof in QLD and it drove me nuts. The scratching at night is horrible. Hope they take a hike soon!
Well Lucie seems to be quite a bit better. Dropped her down to 2 bottles yesterday and she seemed keener on solids - even took a spoon at each meal which is not like her. Now that I have said that of course, today will be the total opposite! Tooth 7 has cut through and 8 should be today or tomorrow. After taking so long to get more after the first 2, she certainly has made up for it lately.
My cough is driving me nuts and has made me realise that my pelvic floor muscles are shot to pieces Coughing and throwing up this morning and wetting myself at the same time! Aggghhhh there is no dignity in motherhood!
Cooked up a huge batch of chicken and veg meatballs and Lamb and veg meatballs yesterday for Lucie. Need lots of finger food options on hand for when I am in hospital and bub #2 is here. Anyway touch wood, I think she likes them. I disquised all the veg (potato, carrot abd pumpkin) by mashing it up and I don't think she realises hehehehhehe, and they actually taste yum!
