Sorry, still havnt caught up on posts prior 2 my last post.
Sonia, every bub is diff though. I can never remember Holly's milestones, I have to check my www - milestones, hehe. She rolled (repeatedly) from tummy to back at 14wks & from back to tummy at 5mths.
Ours has timber slats on 3 sides but Alan added straps with clip (from a backpack) when Holly was trying to stand on the changetable all the time, i dont use these for Lanah yet though.
I got about 2-3 small stretchmarks on my hips with Holly but many on my bum cheeks & bb's. But with Lanah, I think I took it for granted more & didnt use the cream regularly, ended up with about 10ish purplish stretchies on my lower tummy & whitish thin ones on my thighs & the purplish ones on my bum & hip which had faded, darkened again. I hate the flabby belly, it feels/looks so gross & im self concious bout it.
Oh no Kim on ur puppy dogs, ouch. Hehe, we didnt get a floater with Holly until she was over 1yo, she was standing in the shower with me & did a few poos. Then when i was about 7mths preggas with Lanah, Holly did 2 floaters in the bath, thats it so far, twice & no runny ones, TOUCH WOOD, hehe.
Corr, dont feel bad bout not diagnosing the thrush, we're not medically trained so hard to know when something is actually medically wrong. At least Cam's ok now.Yikes bout the car seat situation, GL with it, hmmm maybe a google search might come up with some answers. Aus is one of the only countries with very relaxed regulations on rear-ward facing car seats as they say 6mths/8kg can turn it around whereas other countries generally say 12mths, but not much u can do when bub just simply doesnt fit rearwards. We were able to keep Holly rearward facing til about 13mths old. Guess it also really depends on the type of carseat u have.
Rhiannon, hope Jensen's checkup goes well. Lanah doesnt get much tummy time either, if do it after a feed, she chucks & hard with Holly running around. Most of the time she gets tummy time lying against my chest.
Hope the colic eases up, it must be hard. Wow at the needles, yikes, Lanah cried after her 2nd needle, didnt really flinch much with the first. She only cried for 1-2mins then was a little unsettled on/off afterwards, she'd already fed b4hand.
WTG on the sleeping, sounds like things are improving, xlnt. Yay on the walks & Jensen having a nap during.
Sounds like a growth spurt there Sonia, gets that way huh, like haven't left couch from feeding, hehe.
Wow at the TT Ali, no sign of Holly wanting to TT yet, but like u said, early days. I read the TT thread in here the other day & I think it said TT can start anywhere between 18mths - 3yrs old. We still dont have a potty, doh. bit when she's doing a poo I say r u doing a poo Holly, so hopefully she'll understand soon. Must get a potty.
Sara, u did well having 2 kids at/near the kiddie pool anyhow. Sounds like u had a relaxing time at the pool. I'd luv to take Holly to beach/pool with mums group but just cant bring myself to in case something happens, as Holly will just want to bolt, lil monkey. They went to the baths/beach last wk & there's no way I could run after Holly, unlike a kiddie pool.
Lanah is bigger than Holly was. Holly really filled out shortly after formula which started at 6mths. Birth weights in my siggie
Hehe, yeah same for Lanah, she's just starting to play with toys (reach out).
Hope everyone else is well.

at least i dont have to wake up early than ella just to express b4 she can feed.

Tough enough mothering without our partners creating issues too. i'm sorry you're going through a bad phase and i hope you come out of it soon. u know, u can always rant to us about what's ailing you. We all go through similar **** every now and then, especially with the added complications of a new bub, so if u ever wanna unload, i'm certain we'd be inclined to listen and empathize. How is Colby going with her chucking? did u end up getting her checked for reflux. If its helps any, willa chucks what looks like a handful of milk every day and it sometimes unsettles her to the point where she wont take the breast but other times, it doesn't bother her. I been told that if the baby largely is not bothered by the chucking then its not really reflux but just usual baby issues.
