I'll be quick cos my internet has just kicked me off before.
Puppies, I suggested the Dunstan baby language dvd a while ago. Don?t know if you remember. It's great. I've found that you can't really tell their cries until they are about 6 weeks plus, so you've gotten it at the right time.
I can really tell Judd's now, and have been really strict (on me) and him this week with his crying and self settling. He's been doing really well and getting off to sleep most of the time by himself. But the late afternoon one is a fizzer, but that's pretty normal from memory with the other 2 as well.
I've also found that they get comfortable being in their room if you pop them in the cot, just to do the vacuuming or go to the loo quickly. That way they just lay there for a bit and coo and be happy in that environment. You come back take them out, have a play then they go back in when the yawning starts.
Another thing that I've found really helps Judd is the double swaddle. He can't get his hands out to wake himself up as I was finding that he was startling awake a lot more recently.
As for AF, I haven't got it yet! He is 9 weeks on Monday and still no sign. BUT my right boob is STILL leaking!! It was nearly dried up the other week, and I had some minor colour in some discharge, and I thought, cool, here we go. But now I?m leaking quite a bit again, and the minor colour didn't seem to bring anything on and just cleared up very quickly. Normally I have a period really early after bubs is born, around 6 weeks after, but not this time.
I forgot to ask the Dr about this yesterday when I went to see her about my hands. Am on diuretics for a few weeks and if that doesn't fix things, might need some injections! Ouch!!!
Gotta go to bed. Sorry no more personals. Take care, love to your babies
