Hi!

PMSL @ you guys impressed with Al's french words! He has his own language I tells ya! There is nothing learnt, just so happens we recognise a couple of bits of the babble he repeats as french.

The 'excema' or whatever it is on his face just gets worse. I spoke with another mum at the playground on sat and she reckons her bub got it right after his vaccinations. I guess Al did too, but he has still not had the 'big vax' yet, so will definately wait til this clears before we go for that.

We are back in the pool as it didn't make any difference to his skin stopping that. We are also back for a second term of 'Baby Bongo', which he loves.

The Day Care that we applied for (it is compulsary to sign up for one within 4 months of birth here) has come through with a vacancy. I am thinking about trying him out there for 1 or 2 mornings a week from October, just as an exercise. There is such enormous pressure here on getting the kids 'socialised'. All the mothers in my mothers group just don't understand me at all. They say they are so happy working full time and say they just couldn't be at home with their baby. I feel very isolated/different because of that.
But the reason I will try it out with Al is I think it might help his language development and also as winter is approaching a different play space should be fun for him. Once Baby no 2 comes along I'm certain it will be handy to have somewhere for him to play while I have my hands full.

sorry for no personals..just except to say HAPPY belated BIRTHDAY Bel!
