Hi All
I'll try for some personals while Autie is sleeping...
Megan, might be a bit late to answer your question but anyway... Autie generally wakes around 6 (give or take half hour) and I encourage this because it helps the day work out timewise. She has a play/BF/breakfast and is ready for bed again by 8.30 most days. Then she'll last out to about 1pm and then bedtime is 6/6.30. She usually naps for about an hour. I read somewhere that many babies follow the 2/3/4 hour schedule between sleeps and this is true for us with maybe an extra half hour tacked on. HTH. And hope the move went well for you all.
Jan, how did it go with ring? Is it what you expected? Aww at Liam's 'mum' - isn't it a lovely sound? What is Mini Maestros? Autie loves music so much it sounds like it would be right up her alley. I have found a huge improvement in sleep since I cut Autie off cold turkey from night feeds - she gets a BF at bedtime and then that's it until morning. I don't like for her to cry either but it really only took one night of rocking instead to get her on track and accepting - it was mostly a tantrum type cry.
Jess that's great news that your little jelly bean is growing well. How exciting for you! Take care of yourself - it must be hard with DH away and two growing bubs making demands on you!
Em, I LOVE your letter idea! I think I'm going to steal it - I hope I'm capable of making the effort each year though...hmmm.
Lis, I will have to add puzzles to our list too. The best ones I have found (if you want quality) are called Tuzzles though you may have to search them out or google a supplier but they are worth it - absolutely gorgeous colours and images. Sometimes I do feel bad having Autie go from bed to change table to car seat to stroller to car seat to high chair LOL I try and find somewhere for quick crawls along the way if I can, or that's when she gets a 'treat'
Sarah, good to hear the kids are feeling better and that you had a good night out. Exciting news about the maybe pregnancy. How did your test go?
Jem, it's nice to hear from you. That's a really nice idea about Charlotte's poster - I loved that book. What are DH's work shifts like these days? You must have things running smoothly by now when he's away but I guess there are still tough days?
I thought it was about time to give Autie a little nudge walking wise so I stood her up and let go - she looked so smug as she just stood there without even a wobble! It was like 'I could do this ages ago mum, just didn't wanna' No steps yet but at least we'll have something new to surprise daddy with when he gets home. She has been doing her best to copy the dance moves of Hi-5 - so cute but maybe it's an indication I let her watch it too much!LOL
I'm babysitting my parents dog for two weeks. She's lovely and it's nice to have a watch dog with Dan being away and Autie is fascinated by her, but all I keep thinking about is all the crap I'm going to have to pick up off the lawnGuess it will get me used to it for when we finally get our own.
Mum bought some LS bodysuits from Dimmey's because they were 50c and I put one on Autie today...lovely big round collar - she looks like a total nerd - or maybe a child from an Amish type background. LOL Good for not having to wear a bib at home though!
Somebody's at my leg wanting attention so I'd better go.

Guess it will get me used to it for when we finally get our own.
