Awwww Trace, never mind, Indah is just like Zac with food, sometimes I'm just glad he eats anything at all! He is so finicky too! Totally refuses to sit in his highchair at all.
Don't be sad.
Cass I hear ya ...its always good when you have a good day like that!
Trace dont be hard on yourself..you must be so busy. Im finding 3 days a week out at uni quite difficult to manage and you go 5 days a week! As long as you offer it to them there isnt much more you can do!
Bugger about the highchair Storm..that can be so annoying and messy lol! Sammy knows food means high chair..he doesnt have food out of it cos Im a bit of an anal annie and I hate food trails lol!
Bec...your bubba will be here in now time..wow!!!
All these bubbas and new babies everywhere..so much babydust flying around I best duck or I will get hit lol! Have uni today...Im really enjoying stimulating my mind..its only been 3 years since Ive been there but its amazing how your mind turns to mush lol. The women who go back after 20 years...now they are amazing!
Trace - Don't stress matey. Lucie doesn't overly like her high chair either. She's happy in there for dinner and lunch on the weekends when DH is home, otherwise she has breakfast in the lounge and usually lunch while we are out and about. I don't really like her eating breakie that way but it was a bad habit we kinda got into when she wasn't eating much. The distraction helped her eat!
Cass - Yay for good food day and yeap I know what you mean. If Luci egoes feral on fruit (strawberries usually) it makes me very happy too! Hope you had fun at the work do.
Jo - You are a busy mummy! Hope you are handling it all ok. And yeap I was at a PG today, decided i'll only go to that one though when the weather is good so Lucie can play in teh bigbackyard. No point going when it's raining because the inside area is smaller than our play area at home and hardly anyone else goes on those days.
Anyway both kids are down for a sleep and my house is a mess..........
Oh Trace dont be so hard on yourself....I work 4days and I know how hard it is. Kaitlyn is actually good with the highchair thankfully..but not all days!. But I find a walk and a snack cup full of whatever she wont normally eat will normally get her eating it!. I am just trying really hard to make her get into lots of veges as most our meals are zuccini , Carrot and Broccoli based - which I know is good but trying to mix it up. I am green eyed monster that you will be home in 14weeks :-)
Soph you sound like such an organised mum of two little ones!!!!!!!!. hope you got some cleaning done.
Jo I am glad your exercising your mind hehehe....and sounds like Sammy is doing so well!.
Hiya Storm , how is little Angel going?
Well meet Nico Rosberg - Formula one driver for the williams team . He is 21yrs old ..so a young man ..and he is gorgeous . Funny how when someone is sucessful in their choosen field they automatically become a bit more attractive - maybe because they are more confident .
Then back to work - the mail server is running so slow so it has been the most unproductive day which is so annoying.
Tomorrow I have the day off - going on a boozey lunch with two of my girlfriends heheheh CANT WAIT!
Ah Cass you are SO funny! moi, organised?????? If only you saw my house lol! have a blast tomorrow - i'm jealous. Kaitlyn is such a good girl (and you a wonderful mummy) for eating all those vegies all the time. Can she whisper in Lucie's ear??? Lucie will only eat mash, peas, corn by themselves but i do sneak others into quiches and other dishes.
Ahhh bugger we are all sick here and all going to the docs at 11. Hoping the kids just have a cold but I'm pretty sure I have tonsilitis (mega dodgy tonsils always here). Thankfully DH is coming home at lunch. I think I've had about 1.5 hours sleep in the last 3 days
Ouch Soph hope your feeling better soon & get some rest!!!
Indah decided to start singing in her cot at 5am (she must have heard Dede leave for work) so at 5:30 she started YElling for me to go get her, I had already tossed & turned from 3:30am... I am so exhausted & tonight we have Twilight school sports!! Ouch, I'll fall asleep!
Maddy came second in her race.... She has always lagged but in the last 12 mths with her basketball has become so much more athletic...
I have decided my Dh is the most over protective person (esp male) in the world!!!
At the school sports heaps of toddlers & aged up to 4ish were playing & wandering around, So I let Indah out of the pram & she has played at the school before, she stayed near us & sat with Dh on the blanket (I made DH take me a chair!) 3 kids came over to look at Indah they were about 3-4yrs & kept calling her a baby, saying.. 'That baby cant dow hat we are doing etc!" She just kept smiling & saying "Hello" to them...
Anyways they walked off & she got up & wanted to check out where they were going (we were RIGHT there) but Dhj hops up & was literally the whole night where she went he was a step at the most behind her or h'd pick her up & not let her wander around, I kept saying "It's OK hun, she comes here every day to drop Maddy of & pick her up, she is Ok here!" But nope... Then when one of the kids fell & smashed his face on the ground & split his lip & had a cut eye & a massive swollen eye... DH says to me "See those F'ing parents arent looking after their kids, are you happy for that to happen to Indah!"
I just kinda giggled, he's gonna be a mess when the girls have boyfriend or when they do norty things & hurt themselves, he's gonna driove me BONKERS!
OK I dont WISH for the kids to hurt themselves at all, but atleast a little bit of exploring is OK...
I must admit a few of the parents arrived & let go of their kids & didnt check on them at all 2 kids wet their pants whilst cryuing & looking for their parents!
But we were about 2metres from the playground & would have both watched her but given her some space! It was quite funny!!!!
Or is everyone else's hubby's so over protectiuve the kids arent allowed to do anything!??? hee hee
Aww Trace I much prefer being overprotective that not..good for your DH lol! Mine is definately the same! Yay for little Maddy getting second too..well done!
Soph I so hope you are feeling better now..you poor thing!!!
Hi Storm..how are you and the kidlets?
Hi Louise..what has little miss Maria been up to?
Hello everyone else!
Had a lovely day today...Sammy and I went to the beach this morning and collected shells in his bucket. He thought that was great fun. Tired him out so much he came home and fell asleep before we left to go shopping in town. Then we spent the afternoon blowing bubbles..funny little boy is adamant that he can do it all himself so promptly tipped half the bubble mix out!
Ohhhh and Emmy won fairest and best for Basketball the other night..my little superstar...she was so proud and has taken in her trophy for news today.
How are you all feeling over there Miss Sophs clan?.
Trace your DH sounds like a mirror image of mine! He says there is no dating boys until she is 40 hehe. Yay on Maddy being a little sports start!
Jo yay to Emmy for being a sports start as well!.
working my butt off and counting down to 4pm yay. Then off to do the food shopping with the miss then home for dinner ..and to clean the house ( blah ) . Then tomorrow catching up with my mum and sis in the morning . Then Dh is out for the night at a work do so I have invited my mum over for dinner as she is a bit down at the moment . Then Sunday DH is off work so we are off to the Castle Hill fair !!! apparently it is like a mini easter show so I am so excited! Also have to see the MIL and FIL sometime over the weekend ...blah....
Cass sounds like a great weekend! I have such a boring weekend planned. Darren is away the whole weekend working up in Perth and throughout the south west and his car is in the shop so he has mine so Im pretty much house bound. Arrrghh..prob just as well as I have a lot of reading to do lol.
Soph hope you and your little ones are doing ok.
Hello everyone else
Had uni today...Sammy has been a bit withdrawn today. Wasnt his normal cheery self at gym apparently. Think hes not liking saying bubbye to mumma quite so much. The kids have had their sports carnival today so popped down there to have lunch with them..go green hehe.
Being slack here!
Soph, how are you & your beautiful babies?
Enjoy your reading JO, I hate the feeling you get when you know you can't go anywhere, even though you've got no intentions of going anywhere anyway!
Angel went back to the pead today, her belly button is good, but the whole in her heart is still there, going to check it again & possibly send her for a u/s. Her kidneys need to be checked, so I somehow have to catch a clean sample in a wee jar, mmmm that's gonna be interesting. And the best news, he got me to get some stuff to add to her bottles to stop the chucking & woo hoo I haven't been spewed on since this morning!! But she has been unsettled, prob coz of our huge day out, & the little porky weighs 5.6 kgs. So she's doing great, apart from the cold she has, compliments of Zaccie!
Zac is on a food strike, nothing unusual, but he has a cold too, he's just been drinking gallons of milk, must make him feel so much better, I would rather he be drinking water or juice though, but that's what he wants.
Af came for me today, & I've started the pill, shame isn't unable to help with the cramping! I've got a cold, & my tooth has completely broken off. I have a dentist app on Monday, but how is she gonna be able to pull it out if nothing is on the surface? We do not have the money for surgery, so I wonder what she will do to me?? Yikes, I'm scared LOL
What a blab about me, sorry.
