Maddy came second in her race.... She has always lagged but in the last 12 mths with her basketball has become so much more athletic...
I have decided my Dh is the most over protective person (esp male) in the world!!!
At the school sports heaps of toddlers & aged up to 4ish were playing & wandering around, So I let Indah out of the pram & she has played at the school before, she stayed near us & sat with Dh on the blanket (I made DH take me a chair!) 3 kids came over to look at Indah they were about 3-4yrs & kept calling her a baby, saying.. 'That baby cant dow hat we are doing etc!" She just kept smiling & saying "Hello" to them...
Anyways they walked off & she got up & wanted to check out where they were going (we were RIGHT there) but Dhj hops up & was literally the whole night where she went he was a step at the most behind her or h'd pick her up & not let her wander around, I kept saying "It's OK hun, she comes here every day to drop Maddy of & pick her up, she is Ok here!" But nope... Then when one of the kids fell & smashed his face on the ground & split his lip & had a cut eye & a massive swollen eye... DH says to me "See those F'ing parents arent looking after their kids, are you happy for that to happen to Indah!"
I just kinda giggled, he's gonna be a mess when the girls have boyfriend or when they do norty things & hurt themselves, he's gonna driove me BONKERS!
OK I dont WISH for the kids to hurt themselves at all, but atleast a little bit of exploring is OK...
I must admit a few of the parents arrived & let go of their kids & didnt check on them at all 2 kids wet their pants whilst cryuing & looking for their parents!
But we were about 2metres from the playground & would have both watched her but given her some space! It was quite funny!!!!
Or is everyone else's hubby's so over protectiuve the kids arent allowed to do anything!??? hee hee
