Simone - I think they do get used to it. Chelsea was a great eater and I never had hassles with her starting solids. Marley has been a different story, but she is really getting the hang of it. Gave her more pumpkin tonight and she ate another 2 cubes (about a teaspoon each cube) without spitting much out. I would just go slow and either try a bit each day or every second day. Maybe try pear or apple instead of banana as it might be more palitable (sp?).
I finally booked out flights to Noosa today YEAH!!!!!! Like CC said, I am so excited. I was even more excited as I got $100 off the total cost of the fares with the JetStar Mastercard deal. So total cost for 3 return flights was only $434! So we leave Sunday 25 Feb at 4.55pm and come home Thursday 15 March at 11.55am. We are now just working out what we need to take for Marley like portacot, pram etc. I have one of those portable high chairs which we will take too. We are thinking of hiring a people mover - my friend has one child (now 5 mths old) and we are staying with her for 10 days, then my other GF and her family arrive and they have 2 kids so thought it be cheaper and easier to have one car we can all fit in. Just hope I can sort out Marleys eczema problem before we leave as it will be hot up there in Feb/March.
Quiet in here today. Hope all the other Junies are having fun and look forward to hearing more goss soon!
