Dee - glad things are abating out your way! It's about time for you. Also, meant to say thanks for the solidarity about parental personality instability! It's not nice to realise that others are in the same boat, but it's nice to know you're understood. Crazy mums and depressed dads - what's the world coming to?
Oscar is ok, but will probably have another unsettled night. He slept most of today and MIL was worried about us, so called from Stawell to see how we were doing. DP hadn't got home from Friday night drinks at his brother's by then, so I was upset about that, but her call made me feel better. One more night of paracetamol and hopefully this fever breaks. I want my kid back! The one who would be in bed by now. I tried going to bed at a quarter to ten, but over an hour later he was still wriggly, so I let him play out in the loungeroom while I ate toast with jam and cheese...seems to have worked, his eyes are closed in the sling. His father is dead to the world, snoring away in bed. Lucky this little mite sleeps on my side these days!
My eyes are hanging out of my head now. Best be off!
