Teepee2 - how are you lovey?? I hope that those bbs are playing nice now!

Well, what a morning *sigh*.................
Was so happy that DD#2 fed at 10pm last night and then didn't wake up properly until 5.30am!! Although, she fussed and snorted from about 4am but every time I checked thinking I was about to feed, she was fast asleep!! (So I've been awake since 4am!! ) I did try to stay in bed after the early feed but all I could hear was DD#2 crying and then DD#1 joining in .........................

I was at a loss to understand how DD#2 could get through the night without tears but couldn't last 3hours after the morning feed, even though milk was in complete abundance!! DH suggested I went to bed after feeding at 8.30am but I really hate sleeping the day away so here I am fighting grumpy-bumness!!

And DD#1 is so emotional atm, and I think I have figured out what the tears are all about. She is repeatedly seeing DD#2 get attention when she cries, even though we don't respond immediately, but the fact is we still respond to the crying baby. So I think DD#1 has put 2 & 2 together and figures that's how you get attention and then is getting confused when mummy and daddy correct her, as gently as we possibly can but very hard when it is doing mummy's head in!!

So might go have a shower and wash this grumpy bum of mine down the drain!!

P.S. oh DD#2 did have an extremely cute moment though yesterday - she has become so smiley and it is so precious! Yesterday she started smiling these huge grins at the teddy hanging over her bassinet and her grin would get bigger when we tapped the teddy and made it swing - oh so amazingly cute!!!!
