Got to be quick as others group is at my house today! lucky we cleaned the house on the weekend...

I was thinking about Lisa the other day too... she seemed to have everything down pat though, so she is probably just enjoying here bubs - and so she should after the ordeal she went through pre birth!!!

Jo, was going to send you a text this week, want to catch up again on this friday or maybe the one after? would be great to see you again and waste a day chatting! Hope Caitlin hits that 5Kg mark! i have been off with all my guesses on MJ lol

Shell glad you know what the problem is now

DH came home with a pressie for me yesterday... we had been talking about getting a gym membership so that i could loose some of the flab, but so hard with MJ... so he came home with a Wii and the wii fit! this way i can chart my progress and i can do it when MJ sleeps in the comfort f my own home! wooo hoo.

Anyway, gotta fly Hi to everyone else that i didnt mention hope you are all doing well

Hi all. Its been a couple of days since I was on here. I've decided to spend less time on the computer and more time doing housework as I'm finding it quite rewarding...never used to, must be the change coz I'm a mother now!

Jazz had her dedication service at church on Sunday then we had family back for lunch. All went well.

I've started doing Avon so I'm off to do ny firs catelogue drop after I've fed Jazz.

She's starting to have naps in the afternoon. I let her sleep for 1-2 hours and then wake her up so she doesn't sleep too much in the day. I'm finding she does sleep for 1-2 hours less at night though, but at least she's calmer in that 5-7pm slot when apparently just about every child of any age is at their worst.

Gotta go feed her now so we can go out.

Prama - That is a great amount of time with your mum, you must be really looking forward to it.

Shell - good to hear that you have sorted out what is wrong with DJ, a little bit of work by the osteo and he will be a different bub.

SJ can't do this friday (Injection day & friends TV wedding!) but I am up for Friday next week though! How cool is the Wii Fit! Caitlin gave it to me for mothers day and it is so much fun! I love the hoola hooping and ski jumping! I am not very good at the balance tests! I have really wobbly ankles! Have fun at mothers group.

Will jump back online once I have been to health centre with measurement update!

I'll have to get the 2 pics of the dedication service from my mum.

Just went for an hour long walk to do my Avon drop. Jazz did not like it at all. During the cooler weather I think I'll leave her in the car while I do a few houses, then drive a bit further up the road & do a few more houses. That should make it quicker hopefully.

Hi, I haven't been on for a while & noone probably remembers me, but I was due to have my little boy on March 6 or 10.

Well little Jesse Andrew was born March 8 weighing 8 pound 7 1/2 ounces after only 5 hours of labour. ( my other 2 were 18 & 30 hours). He's a perfect baby most of the time.

Congrats to everyone on all your beautiful babies!!

SJ - Same place sounds great, let's say 10.30ish? That should fit in around Caitlin's usual feeds, is that OK for Molly Jane?

So I was close on the weight thing for Caitlin, she is 4.9kg's (10lb 13oz), 56cm's long and 38.5 head circ. That is a weight gain of 810g in the last month so cannot complain. The exciting thing now is she is finally on the percentile curve based on her birth date. She is 6th percentile for weight, 3rd percentile for head circ but not yet on the curve for length.

BJ - Congrats on the safe and quick arrival of your baby boy!

Prama hearing you on the poopy smell. Was at the bank this morning and Caitlin decided to do a nice one while we were in the line so I had to change her in the back of the car because I didn't want to put her in the car seat and have it ooze up her back! Fun and games!

SJ - you have got me feeling active, going to jump on the wii and do today's body test!

Danni dont mean to sound alarmist but it is against the law and very dangerous to leave your baby in the car un attended. You could be reported and face a fine of up to $25,000 and possibly loose Jazz. Never at any time is it safe to leave a baby in the car cooler weather or not.
    Please please dont this!!!!!.
I have first hand witnesed a report done on a family for leaving their child in the car and it was not pretty and as part of my job at work and duty of care it is mandatory to report any such thing but anybody can and do report to Docs.

BJ congrats its great to see you on here again hope all is well.

my brain is so mush today.
we had our last mothers grp today, we talked so much and ate so much, we stayed an hr later.
we have our own catch up next thursday, i hope a few of us will stay on.

sj - i got to see your post much later, dunno why, very strange.
what a wonderful pressie! woo hoo! we have an old exercise bike in the garage, ive asked steve to get it out for me and leave it in the back verandah. i can cycle and poopy can play on his mat. that's the plan at least!

shell - ur mum must almost be there! that will really help. it's very tough to do it on your own. you're very strong! i hope doni buys you and dj a big big pressie. and special one, cos it's your birthday next week. is it on monday?
maybe dj's sleeping habit will slowly get longer.. maybe it takes a couple of visits?

jo - hooray for the measurements! caitlin is doing so well! yaayy!!! i thot it was poo but it was just a big stinky fart! lol.

skye - how are u going? are you still working at the hotel/pub?

shell, not sure if you heard but on monday one of the girls in the class, remarked when i took poopy out when i was doing the step exercise, that he's still so tiny. i didnt say anything but im so tired of every week someone says that. i think next time, im just going tell them to stop saying it. i need to be more assertive.

poopy is having a nap.. and i can sit here with my laptop.

oh i forgot to say, im having yum cha on friday! hooray!
a friend from work is leaving, i was going to go in and show poopy off on thurs but another friend texted me and invted me to lunch on friday. im so excited. little things hey! and im really happy that they havent forgotten me. how sweet.
oh, did i mention this already? feels like i have!
i think i will re-heat my cup of tea.

hi bron - ur message just came in after i finished. i hope all is well with you. how is will feeling now?

danni - congrats on the avon and dedication day.

was going to type more, but poopy is awake and i went to make his bottle and forgot to heat my tea....

Hey prama thanx for asking Will is much better the balsam, vapourisor and little fess worked really well on him. I am doing ok platlettes low but holding at the same sort of level at the moment. I can live with that and have done as long as it doesnt affect Will.
Are you excited about your trip? I have terribley itchy feet but we just cant afford to go anywhere atm as would really love to go home and see NIcks family and our friends in the UK. Its been 4 years since we were last there and am envious of you having time at home. ( dont really want to see my inlaws but would love to see all my friends *L*) I think Lakshman is one lucky boy to share the rich cultural side of his family as well and no doubt he will have many more trips over there. You must be so excited about showing him off to everybody.
JO Caitlin is looking great ( I nosedy at your pics)and obviously doing so well its great to hear and you must be really happy it feels like forever ago she was first born itn he group and you took us all by suprise.I think Caitlins birth really hit home for all of us that this was so very real at that stage*L*
You and SJ and SHell and Prama are so lucky that you can hook up with eash other would be great to meet you all face to face.
MInd you having said that I have had more morning tea since WIll was born than my whole life I am sure *L* nice to be a lady of semi leasure( well not at work anyway) if if I end up half eating cake and drinking cold coffee with Will in hand

bron i wrote you this long reply and then accidently hit refresh....

so glad Will is doing much better. vapouriser worked for us too.

i am getting excited about going away, it will be nice for mum and dad to look after poopy between feeds and i can rest a little. but am not looking forward to their costant arguing.. hopefully having a grandchild will let them focus their energy on him.
hope you get to go away sometime, it's always really nice to see old friends and relax. and it's more special now that you ahve a child to share the experience with and for them to learn new things.

Will is lucky too, to have aussie and british culture. poopy has his aussie, malaysian and indian culture. i hope he doesnt get confused as he gets older. i know i get confused sometimes with 3 different cultures.

i know i always think it will be really nice for all of us to meet up. we wouldnt stop talking!! if you are in sydney again, let us know and maybe we can catch up. would love to meet you in person!!

shell - my legs and shoulders hurt! so tired. gee i dunno about doing monday and tuesday classes.

i cant remember everything i wrote just now.
just almost finished dinner and poopy woke up. would be nice if he slept till we finished.. oh well.

Ohhhh i am soooo sore, MJ still isnt awake so have just expressed off 70mls so that it doesnt all explode out of my boobs when she finally wakes AND my legs are killing - i didnt realise how bad shape was in until i did the wii fit -i was scoring good points when doing the exercises so doingthem corectly but i think that my hamstrings are in need of a lot of attention.... they are so sore today, will give the muscle work outs a miss today me thinks!

Prama - just a thought... maybe the other mums comment on Poopy being small as they think that he is really cute... there is a smaller baby in our group (who i dont comment about JIC the mother is fed up with the comments like you are) but every time i see him i want to go awwwww he so cute and small - some of it is because our bubbas use to be that small and when we see a smaller one, it reminds us how bigs our are getting... its not directed meanly, smaller babies are cuter! and you have the added bonus that he is doing al the things that a "bigger" baby is doing!
On the flip side, i try to keep my comments to a minimum at MG as there is a girl that has a 9 week old and her boy is bigger thann all of the baies, he is 6.5kg! not fat just a big boy (both mum and dad are average height) i try not to say anything or make comments about he size (more about how cute he is) as she probably is sick of it, but doesnt have the guts to say anything either.

Bran glad Will is doing well... maybe we should all hope on a plane and all meet in one place - it wouuld have to be a weekend, as i think we would never stop talking!

    BBL booby call.... finally!

    Morning girls,

Had a better night with DJ soooo happy. He slept from 10 til 4, then 4:30 til 7:00. So, I slept about 6 hours roughly by the time I got to sleep I feel less tired this morning which is great. And the best lthing is DJ is attaching properly and not needing to do football grip, just normal hold so I can do a good 20 min feed for him and he is content at that time in the morning so I didn't need to give him a top-up in formula. I fed him at 7:30 and he is still content and it was a 10 min feed so probably will give him a top-up shortly he is a bit grizzly now but he needs a sleep and is fighting it. He will probably sleep in the pram ride to mothers group. Mind you not sure on the weather, might have to drive up.

Mum came over and helped out last night she couldn't stay the night but helped feed and bath him and giving him lots of cuddles so I could sit back and relax and put a load of nappies on so that was great.

Prama - yeah my shoulders and legs are killing me this morning!! Dont worry about what she said but if you do feel uncomfortable just say something.

SJ - wow that Wii fit sounds like it is a great workout

Jo - you were very close indeed on what thought Caitlin would weigh

Sorry I couldn't do anymore personals gotta get organised for mothers group.
