I've never had much success in the past trying to change my babies routines, especially at this young age. Personally I find it easier to follow their lead and demand feed. If they feed and sleepgreat, if they want to play
.
You could try moving the bath earlier in the night. Maybe playtime could be a quiet one. Sometimes if Paddy is wide awake in the early hours I put him in his cot (he usually sleeps in a hammock or in my bed if DH is at work and I'm knackered) and turn on his mobile. It shines stars and moons on the ceiling and plays classical music or lullabies. He loves it but I don't interact with him much, just wait for him to get tired so I can feed again or put him to sleep. HTH
SJsorry to hear about your run of bad luck. Isn't it amazing how resilient kids can be? Your must make sure you tell DSS how proud you are that he has done such a good job helping his idiot of a mother (OK yu can leave some of that out). The taping of the ears didn't look very complicated. The mum does it herself. She uses that white tape that's a bit see through.
Danni I'm sure Jazz will have you in a new routine in no time.
Does anyone know why the ADVIL package says you shouldn't take it if you are a nursing mother?
