welcome miss_tree congratulations on the arrival of Seth I look forward to getting to know more about you both

Jess I cant imagine what its like to have a baby not sleep thru the day, both my boys have been good sleepers. Jordan was better he would sleep 3 hrs at a time. Liam isnt too bad, he is sleeping atleast 2 hrs in between feeds. atleast Tiahna is sleeping ok during the night though I guess that is a consilation.

Well today I posted my applications for tafe so now its just a matter of passing the entrance test. I am sitting in on the 10th sept and then takes about a fortnight for the results.
Liam has been good today. he has been a real poop machine though, escaping the nappies 3 times today, needless to say he has worn a few outfits today.
He has been sticking to his 7am 11 am 3pm 7pm and then 3am feed schedule for the last 2 night now so I am hoping this may be the start of a routine for us.

this is jayda and her cuz. jayda looks huge wher did my little bubba go.

    does anyone use or want some MCN's i got 15 i think. $50 +postage.
i had all intensions to use cloth but with going back to work so early it never happened and i dont think i will be able to.

I dont know if i wrote last week but i took jayda to baby clinc and she put on enough weight evn though she hasnt been drinking much. i have cut her bottles back to 125 mls that way with the formula in it, it makes nearly 150mls. when i was makin up 150mls it wold go up to 175mls and she was leaving about 50mls each time and i was wasting too much formula. i was only freakin out cause it says on the tin that from 3 months they should be having 150mls but i guess all buts r dif and if she is still puttin on weight she is ok.

went through all jaydas clothes that she has grown out of and i ended up with 3 roller boxes full of stuff in only 0000 and 000 sizes. i went way over board buying clothes and prob about half of them she never wore

does anyone else think its crap how the may thread is in 2 week lots. i miss talkin to some of the girls the girls that were in teh may belly buddy group

be back later bubs is grumpy

Hi all, well we had our gP check up today... Got my 2nd gardasil injection... (ouchy) but glad i'm on the way to some protection....

Tiahna now weighs 6.05kg's head is 40 and length is 61.5cm. So i'm happy she's doing well... Got some maxalon for the milk supply but GP suggested more expressing after feeds... so we'll see how we go...
As for the bad wind he's put us back on the zantac to see if that helps hope it works... poor thing is in agony.....

Spent the day with a GF and her little boy... Whilst Jordan ran amok... now i know why i usualy take him to daycare when i want time with the girls... Tiahna was GREAT... # BF's in public... with a Mum who "doesnt do that" and hates the idea of it but at least is supportive enough for others... Having some real issues with my damn wisdom teeth... grrrrrr... Cant affort the $1500 at the moment to get the damn things out.

Sass- Glad you worked out Jayda's feeding... the tin is just a guide and as long as she's having enough wet nappies and the weight gain is ok then its all good... Nice pic also... Jayda's a cutie... IKWYM about clothes... i had lots of 0000 and 000 and now i'm a bit low on 00's but she's only in 00 in all in1 suits... just brought a few little boxers and shirts sets... you get cute little soft toys... (fairy wonds, hammers for boys... hehehe) couldnt resist. they have some gorgeous girly stuff coming out for summer but i'm resisting the urge (well kinda) Also i post in the thread before us to see how Jodi, klee, kristale are doin... they dont mind.... miss the girls...i PM them sometimes also.

Deancey-YAY on the TAFE application... think its great that ur wanting to study again... wish i had the time and well motivation... things still hectic... maybe once things settle down... and work goes well... seriously considering giving the job up if they dont let me extend my Mat leave. Also EWEEE on the explosive nappies... isnt that fun... we've had a few of those... especially since little miss can go several days without going... YUK...

Hi to everyone else... hope you all pop in soon just for an update...

mis_tree no idea on how to prevent hic cups however i find a quick suck on the boobs cures them in an instant so atelast you can get rid of them quickly. It might not be ideal but it works.

Well I took the boys into their dads work today as it was his last day, he is now a SAHD for 3.5 months. The boys were doted on by all his work mates. They were so tired they both slept on the way home and are both sound asleep in bed.
Wont be late night tonight as off to work in the morning.
    Take care

welcome mis_tree! I'm the babbler in this thread, in case you hadn't noticed... but I'm busy this week so wont be around as often! I know what you mean about the hiccups - it's awful - but I don't know anything that helps much. My DS has had them since conception LOL! Serious! He still gets them quite often, but he seems to be used to it now. My DP gets hiccups in his sleep, which is highly annoying, but I know where the boy gets it from now! Sorry, that's no help, is it?
How did you manage with Seth in the harness? That must have been challenging, I reckon.

Jess - I've no idea why I've moved so many times! Sometimes it's been to the next street, other times it's been overseas. I've lived on four consecutive streets in three suburbs now. Gypsy, maybe. I don't particularly enjoy it, and the sound of packing tape gives me the heebee jeebees, but landlords will keep putting the rent up, or my visa would run out and off I go again... you'd think I'd stop accumulating so much crap by now, but nooo... Hopefully I can stay in one place for a while now, for the sake of my child, but DP's family are all overseas and he wants to go back to France soon. My french is pathetic, but at least they don't have Hi 5 there!
Hope the maxalon helps you, and the zantac helps Tiahna. Let me know how it goes - I'm about ready to try anything to help Aadi after last night...

Sass - wow you got a lot of clothes!! Any plans on setting up a shop? Or are you saving them for the next bub? (I wont tell your DH! shh!)

Deancey - It's so cool that your DH is going to be a sahd! And getting back to school. That's awesome. My brain still doesn't work properly, and I spent an hour today trying to remember how to do something I used to do at least 25 times a day when I was at work. Mummy brain + computer software = porridge! How do you do it?? And I am still insanely jealous of you getting Liam to sleep for even 2 hours during the day. The longest Aadi slept today was 40 minutes, and that was after the worst night ever (ever!) with a whole bathroom clean-up at 4am from you-don't-wanna-know!

Ok, falling asleep at the keyboard... sorry to all I missed!

Evening mummas... WEll i'm finally ready for quiet time... Jordan has been in bed since 8,45 and Tiahna feel asleep at 8.30 also... Having a nice warm cuppa shower and bed... Phew a whole day of walking round the shop with DS killed me... LOL

NaNa- Ur the blabba... i think i'll battle u for that title... I was readying back over the thread... OMG i have like i post inbetween mine... OPPPSS... also IKWYM about real estates. ( i work for 1... .lol) i work with a frenchmen... i love it when he speaks french... (pity he's in his 50's.... ) Well as for the zantac 1 does and we've noticed an improvement already. fingers crossed it isnt just my imagination...

My DD hets hicups... part of the reflux and colic... apparently its a way that bubs expells excess wind..

Deancey- WOW on DH being a SAHD now.. thats great... my DP wouldnt last a week...

Mis_tree- The harness sounds rough... i bet ur glad its off now... Also with the hiccups... the sucking helps ease the wind. i find distracting helps heaps.

Well I'm headed for the shower and bed. DS is at preshool tomorrow so its just me and my girl (and the cleaning... it never ends... also i agree 1 good thing about moving alot)

    Morning
I have had a rough few days, Hamish has been waking alot during the night and dd and i both have ear infections and worked late last night so am a little tired today. Luckily i now dont work for another week although i do have some book work to do but i can do this from home. Hamish went health centre this week he now weighs 6.2 kg and 59 cm long. I am happy with his weight gain, he is short compared to when dd was this age but she is very tall (taller than me now ).
NaNa yeah i give you the votes for the blabber in the group but Jess is not far behind you . How is the moving going? I could never imagine trying to move now with a bub, I bet you will not move as many times now with Aadi.
Deancey yay on dh being a sahd, my brother did it for a few months and he is so close to his two boys now its lovely, i think he enjoys them alot more now. I hope work goes ok for you today.
Jess i had my wisdom teeth out a few years ago and i was the same with struggling to pay at the time i felt like i was , you will eventually get there dental care is so expensive. Good luck with increasing your supply i have a gp appointment today for my ear infection and i will ask about getting somethin also, atm i dont even wear breast pads i havent leaked for few weeks even can go without a bra to bed now which is great in one way but it makes me wonder if i have enough milk.
Sass i know what you mean about thread being in 2 lots, but i was actually in June 1st to 16th thread as i went few days early, so some of the girls in my belly buddy group are split in 3 bb groups now. The photo of Jayda is gorgeous.
Mistree you have done so well to deal with everything with Seth, i bet your over the moon he is out of harness now. My sis had all big babys too her first was 10'3 second 10'8 third 11'1 fourth mc fifth 12'13 yeah big beautiful boy charlie was 12'13 All boys too.. With the hiccups hamish gets them every day and i also put him on the boob usually gets rid of them within seconds, my mchn said its a sign of being healthy.

Ok i am off to do some washing as the sun is finally shinig here today.

haha Abb - you posted twice so you get a vote too! but seriously, shame about the ear infection. That's yuk. Hope you guys are getting over it. Nothing worse than being wobbly and having a head full of pain, especially for your little guy.
The moving is going nowhere today. Aadi and I just had a 2hr nap together, and he's gone back to sleep now, which is just AWESOME, but so overdue for both of us. He's had the worst tummy pains at 4.30am for the last few nights, and the lack of sleep is... well, you know. I've booked a GP appt tomorrow to see if there's not something else I can do to help him, and maybe, hopefully, there will be a newly-discovered miracle fix for the chucking problem too. I found a chiro centre for kids in the next suburb, so we're off to see them soon after we move.
Jess - it must be the month for wisdom teeth problems. A couple of friends of mine just had theirs out in the last 2 weeks. I had mine out years ago, but in August too. It's amazing how they can make you feel so sick sometimes. Good luck. It's so expensive... but better to get the general anaesthetic than in the chair *shudder*

mis_tree - well done on coping with having a newborn in a harness. Having a newborn can be hard enough, so any extra challenges deserve a reward! Sounds like you've managed beautifully, though. I'm sure you had some "moments", I know I would have! I guess it would have made getting out and about quite difficult, so I hope you can make up for it now, and enjoy some things you've probably had to put off for a while.
Oh, and look! I'm babbling! surprise surprise... ok, Aadi's up. Time to feed.

    Afternoon Mummas,
Abb- LOL... do u wanna become a blabber too... hehehe doesnt count for double posts... :rolf: ... hope the ear infections get better... also hope hamish starts sleeping better for you... we went through that last week... Yesterday little Miss woke up at 3 then at 7 so not so bad. Last night back to our routine asleep by 9 and woke at 6.30.
, atm i dont even wear breast pads i havent leaked for few weeks even can go without a bra to bed now which is great in one way but it makes me wonder if i have enough milk.
I'm the same... I used to burst from the opposite side while feeding but only leak a tiny bit now. Thats what worried me... Everyone keeps saying to express after each feed drink plenty of water to help... so we'll see... I read ur thread about not enjoying BF... I understand also... My DS we had trouble and i ended up comp feeding and then full FF. This time i love it to bits... My goal is also 6 months and we'll reassess then.

Today has been GREAT... Jordan was at preschool... Tiahha is Fab when he's not around. Although she's been waking up screaming but resettling well after... (maybe nitemares ) She's getting so great with holding things... she loves the little wand rattle i got with some PJ's the other day. Her had-eye co-ordination is getting so much better. I got a recoding on my phone of her giggling again... Its SOOOO cute... Now she's discovered her laugh she's willing to giggle at everything...

NaNa- Tell ur GP that you think he has signs of reflux, tell him he's chucking, had aweful pains, etc (research reflux and you'll get all the symptoms (i was surprised how many Tiahna actually had) Yay on the sleep also...
I'm trying to ignore the teeth issues... EEEEKKKK..

Q? anyone finding it tough with well... Adult time????my Dp is feeling left out and feels like were like room mates and arent spending much time together... any hints on what i can do to well, fix it???
Ravioli 4 dinner tonight..... the last of the home made stuff... so hard to have good meals with DP working nights... have to stick with quick meals... cant wait tomorrow i'm doing a corned beef, w/ vegies and white sauce... MMMMM sunday is a roast beef w/ baked tatoe's n veg +gravy... cant wait i love bakes....

Hi girls, just popping in to see how you're all going. I do try and keep up with you all, but it's hard when there are 2 May threads going
Emily is doing really well. She weighed 6.8kg at 12 weeks, and is close to 8kg now. Still sleeping through She's a very content baby.

Jess - with adult time, dh and I have had to start focusing on each other a little more once both girls are in bed at night. Emily usually goes to bed at around 7pm, and Nina at 8.30pm. So once they're in bed, and the kitchen is cleaned up from dinner, then it's our special time.
Leaking, I've never leaked while b/f. I guess one of those lucky ones.

Hi to everyone else, sorry I don't have time for personals. It's time to bath the girls and get dinner organised. Chaos time in our house starts at 6pm each night!

mis_tree OOPS about the exploding poo, I am used to them now. I always carry atleast 1 change of clothes for this reason. Hope you enjoy your weekend before you go back to work. Are you working full time or part time?

Jess Its hard to find adult time when you have kids however I would try and have some time together once the kids are in bed. I try and get DH to come to bed early so I am not too tired when we go to bed as otherwise its all about the sleep and nothing else.

NaNa glad to see you and Aadi got a good sleep today I hope you felt awesome after it.

Abb hope Hamish sleeps get better and your ear infections clear up

So today was good at work, I managed to express a bottle and a half in my lunch break which was awesome. Liam only had 2 bottles whilst I was at work so I topped the bottle up after his last feed so now I am all ready for tomorrows shift at work.
DH had a good day with the boys. I think he is really enjoying running the house and looking after the boys. I am really pleased he is able to do this, I am sure he will treasure it in years to come. He is alseep on the couch though LOL they must have worn him out.
Hope you all have a nice weekend

Hi Jodi- Glad u could pop in... Glad Emily is doing well. (i do read ur thread but dont have a chance to post often. Its hard to have that time when he's on nite shift... and sleeping during the day... plus the 2 kids. its not like when it was just the 2 of us and Adult time could happen any time... He thinks i can just pop into the bedroom and leave the kids to play. or its ok to wake me up at all hours of the morning to DTD...

Mis_tree- Tiahna hasnt started squeeling just yet but she is getting very vocal, singing and talking , laughing at everything... its so cute... Tonight i was being silly with her and she laughed, coughed and spewed at the same time and it came out her nose aswell... She was still laughing after it happeded... Pity about ur return to work... i'm asking for more time in a few weeks... I'm not ready to return (i'd love to be a SAHM full time but its nice after a while to get back out there to keep up ur skills...
YUK- DOnt u hate the Poops up the back...YUK... Must be a boy thing... (well havent had the pleasure just yet with DD) Tiahna hates the water now. Not sure why she used to love it but since i cut the daily baths down to every 2nd day she's started to scream her lungs out every bath time.
I did it through the public system so i had to wait about 6 months to get it done but it was worth the wait. No more tooth aches.
Whats public???? my dentist told me he does it in hossy but its $1500...
I posted a pic of Tiahna and her beloved new toy (her fairy wand)

Deancey- Must have posted while i was typing... Glad work wen well, YAY on DH's first day as a SAHD... I think my DP would lose it in a few days... well he wouldnt make that... he cant even change a nappy...

Sass- LKM and Sarah hope things are going well

    Hi All,

Sorry it's been a while. I've somehow been busy and by the time I read all the posts to catch up - Cameron wakes or DH comes home. Plus I find it hard to do personals as I have a pretty bad memory, which has only gotten worse now. On Tuesday I had my first outing without Cameron. I went out for dinner for a friends birthday, DH stayed home with Cameron (who pretty much slept, except the wake up feed at 8). I felt a bit lost going down to the car even, like I had forgotten something. Had a good night though, but missed him big time. He was still sound asleep when I got home, so had to wait til 7am next day to cuddle him. We are all going out for dinner tonight for MIL birthday, hope he sleeps well in his stroller, as usually he only sleeps in stroller for max 30mins.

Jess - ouch on the wisdom teeth. I hate going to the dentist. I usually wait til I'm in tears before I get the courage to go. Good luck - I hope they don't cause too much trouble for you.

Hi Mis tree - welcome, i'm still new to this site too. I'm going to start taking Cameron to swimming lessons soon too. We've got a swimming pool, so think it's important he learns to swim. He seems to long for the baby bath, so now we have a bath together in the big bath. He loves it and splashes around.

Well i've ran out of time already, DH has just come home, better go spend time with him. Cameron has been asleep for 2hrs now - due to wake up soon i'm sure.

Just a quick note on the wind thing - I found with Cameron he use to get bad wind depending on the foods I ate, onions are the worst, and if i eat too much chocolate. Coleslaw and broccoli are other foods i have to watch.

    Hi to everyone i've missed.
    Bye for now

    Hi Everyone

Bec - welcome back. good to hear cameron is going well and i know what you mean about missing them, when i go to work i miss hamish like crazy. I am going to take Hamish swimming aswell but my mchn suggested i wait until after next immunisations so only a few weeks away now.

Mis_tree - working is hard to return to but we couldnt manage if i didnt go back, only work 2 to 3 nights and do bookwork from home. Are you working full or part time? Ikwym with the poo up the back hamish often does that its gross.

NaNa - rofl i thought if i posted twice i might be heard.. no only joking, i was so tired and impatient im not sure what happened. Went to doc and i dont have an ear infection dd does, apparently mine is from my neck being out so i am off to chiro, had doc check ds but thankfully he is fine.

Deancey - your dh will really enjoy time with the boys but i bet you miss them like crazy at work, it is good to get that interaction though.

Jess - with the breast feeding i am trying to not think about it too much, but i am glad i am not alone in feeling this way. I have set a table up next to arm chair with laptop so i will be able to amuse myself whilst feeding.

Jodi - good to hear everything is going well with you and emily.

Well we had a better night last night hamish slept from 8pm to 5am then to 9, so i am happy with that, alot better than 3 times a night. He seems to be a bit chucky lately too, and usually are gross curdled ones and smelly too (tmi), not sure if he is having too much? Never used to be a sicky baby but last week or so he spits up after every feed a few times.
Oh he has just woke up, hope everyone has a good weekend.

Hi Bec- Long time no post... Glad things are going will With Cameron. I havent tried cutting anything out in my diet... I went of a huge diet after DS was born and lost all my milk so GP has ordered me not to diet at all... so i'm loving eating what ever... (i do need to cut out the choccies and ***** thou... I need to start getting more organised so i can find time to get my Butt in to gear and get walking on the tready.

Hope things go well with your MIL.

Abb- Hope ur DD gets better... And the chiro goes well... The reason i'm on here so much is the same... I sit on the puter chair and feed... The 1st feed of the day i enjoy cos she's so smiley and happy but through out the day i type 1 handed while i feed... Glad its going well and good that you have found something to occupy you also

My son was a chucker... Very curdles and chunky... turned out it was reflux which explained the grumpiness and grizzling, arching of his back, crying in his sleep, coughing, sooking like he was in pain... Maybe get him check... Mite need a bit of zantac to help out?????

Well the kids have both had a BIG sleep almost 3 hours each and at the same time... shock horror... DP and i just watched a movie together on the lounge... although he was hinting at something else... ...
