sara - ur living situation with ur IL sounds awful, even if they are reaslly helpful at times. DH and I go a bit crazy when other people stay at our house for more than a couple f nights, families really need their own space i reckon. Big pat on the back for you for putting up with them, u are a champ. Hope u found some cheap flights. As for the big bed a friend of my sisters put her 7 month old in a big bed cause he just hated his cot, she didn't use a rail or anything as the bed was quite low, as far as i know she didn't have any problems with it.
kim - im sure i wont be pg first, it took us 14 months last time. Its a really hard thing when DH isn't parenting in the way you are comfortable with and its hard totell them they are doing the wrong thing in your eyes cause they always take it the wrong way. My DH sometimes gets quite impatient with Archie cause he wants arch to do things when he wants not when arch wants, of course thats not gonna happen with a toddler! It is frustrating and stressful, but i reckon most parents would go thru it from time to time, good on you for venting on here, hopefully it made you feel a bit better about it.
jodie - im with ya on the cleaning thing! at least i managed the dishes and well overdue vaccuuming today! I am a hopeless cook and arch gets very boring food that he doesn't eat much of so shauns not the only one.
DH left a garbage bag on the front proch last night, too lazy to walk to thebin a few metres away, well the neighbourhood cats ripped it apart last night so we have rubbish all over our front porch, i refuse to pick it up, he can do it when he gets home from work in 20 mins. Archie has been a absolute delight again today (i keep pinching myself, and reminding myself that it won't last long!). Looks like i will just keep using cloth nappies, i keep putting him back in disposables and have tried every brand i can find but he keeps getting nappy rash in them and the only way i can get rid of it is with cloth nappies! oh well its good on the budget i spose.
