JODIE - I had my mamogram at the BREASTSCREEN clinic here in Ballarat, nxt to the Ballarat Base Hospital (I live in Ballarat). Before moving here 3yrs ago from the Sth East of Melb I used to have a mamogram & ultrasound done at the Caulfield Hospital (it's an awlful hospital) each yr after my surgery at 34.
I had surgery to remove a lump from my breast at 34yrs at the Monash Hospital, my surgeon was the same that Kylie Minogue had. Would you believe my younger sister had the same surgery at the same age with the same surgeon ... How weird is that
JODIE - You might want to check with you GP first ?? As the results are sent to a GP. The GP receives the results anything from 7 to 10days. *** Hey, your a romanticValentine's bub : ) My friend here in Ballarat, her son Billy turns 1 on the same day, I have nicknamed him " Cupid Billy ". I have always loved the idea of a Wedding band with diamonds .. I've never been a big fan of engagement rings ... Um, I've been engaged THREE TIMES, LOL : ) Amethyst is my older sister's birth stone - it's a favourite colour of mine too !! Sounds gorgeous Jodie.

CHRISTINE - So saddened to hear that you lost your Mum that way. Can't imagine what you went through. My g8-grandmother & auntie fought a long battle with it. I know what you mean, I worry about Cendrine's future health there too. Just gotta educate them to be aware & have breast check ups when old enough to.
SARA - Your Mum's 40th sounds super !!! How, funny - I have been thinking lately that if Adam & I ever marry (we'd be paying for our own Wedding)I would love the idea of having a 50's theme. My folks were rock'n'rollers in their days in the late 1950's & I just think it would be FUN for everyone too. Maybe everyone come dressed in 50's gear & we wouldn't want any gifts. That would be a gift in itself to us. What do you think ???Does it sound a bit daggy OR do you think people would like a change from the normal kind of Wedding (everyone knows me well enough that I would like more FUN then something ROMANTIC (if you know what I mean??) !!
SHEREE - OMG, I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the pic. Yeh, I would have been beside myself worried sick. Poor you & oh, your lil man. Gee, I hope it keeps at bay. I have seen something like that years ago on someone & I think from memory it was a bite BUT don't know from what ??

****" WISH ME LUCK MUM'S " as I have an appt wt an :doctor: IVF specialist here in Ballarat this morn at 10am (yeh it's 2am, can't sleep .. Worried about it)to see about trying for another bub !!!
Cendrine was concieved naturally BUT i need to see this specialist as a growth was found in my uterus before Xmas & I have to find out what needs to be done there & what the specialist thinks I should do this time around. I'm not keen to go through IVF but if need be at least this Doc is within the field. My GP said he is fantastic & will try other methods, etc ... before going to the extreme of IVF.
^^^ Have any of you gals been through IVF just incase I ' might ' need some advice ??? And hope that you wouldn't mind !!
... Will let you know how I go at the appt !! (Gee, I'm so over appt's this wk, ... Augh)
