Jen - I make most of Izzy's food but occasionally for convenience will give her a jar of something. I said to DH the other day I don't know why I bother making anything because she seems to love the jar stuff more! I think so long as you buy the "good" ones, they're just as good for Kenzie anyway so don't beat yourself up about it. As for the sleeping issues, Iz went through a stage where I couldn't get her down to sleep during the day unless she was already asleep - something you could maybe try with Kenzie? Cuddle her to sleep and then put her down in her cot. As for everyone giving you a hard time about co-sleeping, tell them all to sod off. If that's what you, your partner and Kenzie are happy with then good for you. I get a little tired of people telling me I'm making it harder for myself because I do this or that. I read the other day that I shouldn't be comforting Iz when she wakes in pain during the night with teething becuase she will learn that when she cries I'll come. Hmmmm. BEST NEWS EVER - my folks live about 150kms away, which is really hard sometimes, especially with Ned coming along too. Anyway, Mum said they're going to move back to Perth in the next 12 months or so (got issues with my grandmother which is why 12 months away not now) Sooooo excited to have my mummy close by again. She's been staying with us for the last couple of days and its so nice to know the back up is there if I need it.
