Nothing different to report here other than Izzy was up til 9 (she has gone down like clockwork since birth at 7) then was up from 1230 til nearly 3 crying and basically inconsolable.

Thing is I'd be happy to cuddle her and rock her back to sleep but she sits at the top of my tummy and it KILLS, if I sit with her in my feeding chair in her room - same thing, 9kgs isn't that big but on top of a pregnant belly with muscle issues it's a no-go zone, so poor DH had to get up and he is doing 12 hour shifts right now. Off to the Dr today to make sure it isn't her ears again, and just to find out if there is something else I can do.
Back later - am home all day today doing reports again -

Tan, really is the time for lack of sleep hey. Angus is the same, and is inconsolable at times also. He wants to stand up and be rocked WTF where did that come from!!!! Good luck, hope you get some sleep soon and Izzy gets back to her old self.

I know I have missed others, but

Well, my detox and massage was wonderful last night! I was there for almost 3 hrs of child free peaceful time! Magic! But now, I have a house to clean, washing to catch up on, and bags to pack for the weekend!! We are going camping for the long weekend, and the kids are very excited, I just want to sit and read and do nothing!!! I start back on normal shifts next week, so want to enjoy my last days at home with all the kids!!!

Another quick selfish one from me. My sh*tty day yesterday was capped off beautifully - my poor old gran passed away last night. Thankfully she was full of morphine so she was comfortable and her passing was peaceful. Its a good thing in that she was old, sick and in pain but still very sad. I'm very glad she got to meet her two beautiful great granddaughters - Izzy was about the only thing that has given her any joy in the past 12 months.

Oh Dan. Don't be silly. This is what its all about - life and death and that whole circle thing. Huge congratulations to your brother and his wife on their beautiful baby boy's arrival. Is this your first time as an aunty?

Oh, and just for a laugh . . . I just changed Izzy's very pooey nappy. She was wriggling so much I just put a new nappy on her and left her dacks off while I cleaned up. Got back into the family room to find Izzy walking around with her bright orange nappy in her hand and a gynormous puddle of wee on the floor! Fortunately she managed to wee on the wood floor and not on the rug, the leather sofa, a cushion or her baby sister!

it really is the circle of life hey, we found out thta our gumnut was a boy the day after DH's pa's funeral and it made us realise what life is all about.

I think 3 ours at a day spa is exactly what I need - sounds divine! but you should have left the cleaning etc til tomorrow and relaxed for the rest of the day!

Well another quick one here again, Izzy has an ear infection again.

Seems like she is doomed to get one each time she gets a cold. She is on AB's again and I was just talking to my sister and she was saying her nearly 16 yr old daughter used to get them all the time as a baby too - but the ab's affected her teeth and she now has yellowish lines on them

Now Im worried about the effect they will have on her although I know we don't have a choice.
Shell - did you mention probiotics the other day?? Are they worth giving them while on AB's?? What brand do you use???? I hope it was you!

Oh forgot to add - was cutting up Kent pumpkin and I don't know what the F happened but my hands are all dry and weird now and even my Body SHop hemp cream isn't working! What is that all about!

no preg symptoms here anymore. Not feeling confident at all. Although my progesterone test was HUGE at 90. When i was pregnant with mason, was only 30....who fkn knows. i hate ttc

at the wee on the floor! Could have been much worse!

Well since you mentioned wee here is another story lol! Was filling the bath up for Elena tonight and she was standing in the bathroom while I was stripping her - took her nappy off at which point she always squeals (sp?) with excitement cos she knows she is going in the bath soon. Then she walks over to the bath mat and wees on it

Sigh, for some reason it is much better to wee on the mat rather than on the tiles

Sangie - I would think that it is much easier, you save on mopping lol, just pop the mat in the wash

Tan - Sorry to hear about Izzy and her ear infections. Have you had a read up on antibiotics and ear infections? It has apparently been proven that they do nothing to help the infection unless it is a certain type ( you can tell I am a medical guru

) the best mode of care is to give Panadol, warm baths and hope that it doesn't last long. Usually it resolves easily but sometimes the drum will burst and then it takes a few days to heal. I am a long time sufferer of ear problems and I am currently awaiting surgery for grommets once again. Just something to look into. Michelle - What a nice break for you, you deserve it though. I don't know how you manage with 3!!! Have fun camping!

Well Dan and Danni, I may be joining you on the TTC game if you are not successful this round. I hope it is good news all around though. I have been getting bad cramping again and this time there is red spotting instead of brown and more of it. Still not enough to say it is over but it looks to be heading that direction.

My visit with my dad was interesting. He seems uncomfortable around children and when he drove me 8 minutes to the mall to meet up with my step dad, some guy cut him off and he proceded to speed up and sit on the guys rear for the length of the road cursing his head off. All with a baby in the car. He expects me to go on the 5 hour drive to Penticton with him with a driving attitude like that? I think not. I don't want to see him again but I hate to hurt him.

No other news from me, I have been busy keeping my feet up and not much else. Hope everyone is having a great sleep! Will try to keep up a little more often.

Tan-If Izzy is getting reccurent ear infections, you may want to investigate further with an ear nose throat specialist. Her eustacian tube may not be functioning right, and may benefit from grommets. Just a thought, as I know how terrible ear infections really are.

hope your little bubba hangs on in there. On a positive, I had heaps of bleeding with Angus up until about 16wks, so I hope it is all OK for you, and your little bubba stays with you.

Tan, bum about the ear infections, but like Ash said, if she is getting heaps I would be getting a second opionion form an ENT! GL!

Blakey has cut 11 teeth now, and cutting the 12th so 4 front top, 4 front bottom, 2 bottom molars and 1 up top with another top one coming through. He cuts teeth in 4's luckily enough so it's not a painstaking process anymore. He chewed his hand so hard the other day he was bruised the silly little mite.

Mum's been watching him while I work and overnight too so I've only been seeing him for short bursts every 2 days or so, and I just had him before work and I miss him so much. He is all about high fiving everybody and waving at everybody and it's just so adorable, I feel like I've missed out on so much

Oh Ash, is so hard trying to juggle work and kids. I am just finding I am so cranky, tired and stressed all the time cause with work and all the household chores, I can never fit enough into a day. Angus has 7 teeth, and 1/2 a molar lol!!! It is just poking through still, think it is stuck there!! So I think his crankiness is teeth related, and picking up on Mummy's stress!! DH told me last night I need to get my sh$t together cause I am always mad. Hmm, think I need to work on that. Most of it is financial stress, which is made so much worse by lack of sleep! GL, hope Blakey is all better now and his teeth come through quickly!!

Shell I hope Angus gets over his cranky phase and that molar hurries up! No molars here yet and no sign of them but I think some more bottom teeth are coming.

Feeling so tired today, work has been a bit crazy at the moment and looks like I will have to more hours than I want to this week. Think I might go and have a rest while Ellie is sleeping.
