getting kim's text this morning has made my day!!! I love her name. Can't wait to see pictures.

the whole cycle of life is so in your face sometimes... before I heard from Kim I had a call from a friend, and someone I know - not well - their little baby boy died on the weekend. He was about a month older then Aston. I felt so.... i don't know actually how to put it into words. but I went and kissed and hugged all my children after the phone call. Sometimes the universe has a way of putting life into perspective....

whoa.... big cuddles for all our babies now. How awful. Our friends lost their 18 mth old to sids when I was pregnant with Matilda, it really changes you when you think of how precious our babies are.

AJP - get well soon, you sound in dire need of a gas mask to change nappies right now. Condolences on your dh's nanna's passing. I hope the funeral is a good healing process for your all, a celebration of her life, hearing things she did and said that will make all those who knew her, smile with remembering her.

Taralee - endo pain sounds like the pits, hugs to you

Vicky - great that you've found such an excellent counsellor. I had PTSD explained to me by a therapist years ago, once i knew what it was, so much made sense to me all of a sudden. Information IS power.

    Christy
    Blanchie
you both sound as excited as me to hear about Kim's newborn Jasmyn

my moo goo stuff arrived yesterday, i've just had a shower with the body wash and the hair products. my hair smells so nice and feels soft for a change, it makes me smile. not all chemically like usual, really lovely. hard to describe. i am relieved after ordering quite a bit of the stuff! Healthy family, here we come (or my attempt at least!!!)

a song just came into my head, for Kim, maybe for all of us . . .

    " . . . . it's time to begin
    let the
    sun
    shine
    innnnnnnnnnn"

Katie Noonan song (love her voice and she's got two bubs, one our Nov 06 age, and one toddler).

something about having a baby, new beginnings, both for the bub and for us as the humans who created and had that baby, it's a new beginning for us too

Gee, that's terribly philosophical for 10am in the morning!!! must be the lack of sleep!

Gigi glad you like it!! I just ordered heaps of Avado stuff online. Can't wait!!! Also the Mi-essence stuff is fantastic too. I just always feel better with less chemicals on me... maybe its mental but doesn't matter as long as I feel better right

Well.... I am sooo tired all the time, yesterday I fell asleep while Jovie was playing around me, then I picked up Matilda & went to a friends had a strong espresso and came home & fell asleep while dinner was on the stove, Matilda was screaming & Jovie was crying

So DH has stayed home today, I'm going to my chinese medicine lady & hopefully getting something to help pick me up, this is soooo reminescence of what it felt like with glandular fever or chronic fatigue.... grrrrr

Grr Christy, hope you can find something to help.
i'm sort of similar at the moment, if i dont take anything for the pain then i cant function but the drugs make me so sleepy that i'm useless anyway...but at least make the pain bearable. its like someone is ripping my insides out with a giant screwdriver (my obgyn asked me if i knew what it was like to have that happen - i said no but thats what it feels like and i can show you if you want lol).
makes me want to have another baby so i dont have to deal with the pain for another 20mths
DH took the day off today to help me too, what a star

    Hi we're back!!

Yay Kim's had her bubby - I got the msg this morning and was so excited, made coming home more bearable!

We had a great holiday - although the beginning was a bit hairy. Jake had been off at the end of last week, then Fri had really high temps all day and I thought it was teeth cos I found some new ones... well Thursday arvo I noticed he had some bites on his bottom from when we were outside... by Saturday morning (and no sleep on first night of holidays) his bottom was covered in blisters and his arms and legs were covered in a rash. We couldn't get into the island doctor until 11am and by the time we got there he had blisters all over his feets and hands - yep hand foot and mouth. I remember someone had it a while ago... BLanchie? and it was horrible!!! We were thinking here comes a week of hell should we go home???? But we spent mornings and arvos sitting in the shallows on the beach and by Mon he was at least smiling. Once we hit there it was fun fun fun except for sleeping... he ended up sleeping with us which he doesn't do and we all slpet wonderfully! MMMM how will we go tonight back in his own bed, good I hope!

So we ended up having a great holiday and on the Wednesday I had a bit of brown mucus... my heart stopped counted back 10-ish days and that was when we dtd unprotected... mmm not ready yet but too late... but it was AF coming back and by Thursday she was back with a vengeance.. God! I had forgotten what those cramps were like!!

AJP hope your DH is ok, Ann I will find the recipe, Vicky, Christy, Blanchie and Gigi hugs - sounds like you are all having fun. Tara and Jols when I read our posts I always have a giggle when ur being silly or self-deprecating! Super big hugs to Kim!!!!!!! And to anyone else I forgot!!
