Tom had his 6 week check up with the paediatrician today. He weighed in at 4.65 kgs or 10 lb 4 oz and 55cm long. All is well but I'm exhausted as I've been out all day. So it's my bedtime already!! We had another good night last night, he woke every 4 or 4.5 hours which isn't too bad.

Hope all is well with everyone else.

    Isn't it wonderful about Christy.

Kate, well i don't think Charlie has reflux then because he hardly ever spews and if he does it such a small amount. But he is constantly screaming and hates laying down, so i dunno. I don't think its colic now either because he does seem to bring up wind ok now. Im at a loss.

    Morning girls.

Our night was good last night only up twice which is standard. It was officially Ashton's due date yesterday, 4wks has gone by so quickly bet it woudlnt' have gone that quick had I still be pregnant LOL.

He has slight conjuncitivits but apart from that nothing really else to report about him. Just laying there awake in Lachlan's old rocker watching the world go by.

    It's Kirsten's due date today!

Hoping for a good night tonight...she has just fed for almost 3 hours non stop, must have had over 200mls..she keeps falling asleep but every time I put her in her Moses basket she wakes up and seems hungry!!

Will leave her to settle for a bit as I think that she has actually overeaten a bit and will be sick!!

Emma - she is also a very noisy sleeper, sounds like she is choking a lot of the time..but we have asked the midwives and health visitors about it, and they weren't worried..and she did it in front of the GP, who didn't even notice, and my friend who is a health visitor said it was totally normal..so I was finally reassured!!!

    Morning

have a noisy sleeper here too

Cooper is 2 weeks old today, cant believe it really, gone so fast

I am tempted to take them out to shops today but i dont know, have money to spend but dont know if i am that keen to do it as yet!

Tegan: could you just have a hungry baby, i know with Mason we thought it was a wind pains etc but he was just a really hungry baby, and Cooper is exactly the same, he will feed sometimes every 2 hours during the day, and wants a top up feed an hour or so after one bottle a day, he does spew some of it back up on occasion as he is probally taking a little too much but he isnt screaming so worth a little bit of sick to keep him happy, anyhow just a thought, might not be that at all too

Well we had a good night. Had a few glasses of wine last night and boy did I sleep well!LOL! Jazz was up 3 hourly. Jasmine is noisy as shes falling asleep, grunting and sighing as she drifts off.

Geez Kate I feel awful that Rylee has reflux. It must be awful. Poor little sausage. I hope the acupuncture helps her.

I know how you feel Belinda. I'm desperate to get out of the house but am a little apprehensive with both girls!LOL!

Hey to everyone else............Jazz is waking up.............Its rainy and cold here and its making her hungrier than normal........owwww just heard a bottom burp .........better go and do a nappy check!PMSL!!

yes its just the process of it all i think that i dread, usually i can just chuck Mason is and take nothing for him, i didnt take much with me when he was a baby either, i hate dragging nappy bags around with me, so would just take a nappy and change mat in a small bag and change of clothes, have to buy a new small bag for Cooper now too

Thats great Kate that Rylee didn't cry!! I really hope it helps.

Just wanted to say out loud...........................I LOVE BEING A MUMMY!! Don't think I said this before but since we've had Jazz, Gemma has really blossomed. She now plays happily and is just such a happier little girl. Even daycare have commented to me on how she is ALWAYS in such high spirits now.
Life doesn't get much better then this does it...........hanging out with my girls on a beautiful rainy day!!! Pure bliss!

Well....Kirsten slept through last night and we had to wake her up after 6 hours!

She fed for 2.5 hours from 9.30pm and must have taken nearly 200ml, then went to bed at midnight. We woke at 6am and thought we'd better wake her for a feed.

We had been setting an alarm to make sure she fed enough as she is only due today but had stopped as she was waking herself during night! We will have to start again, will ask my health visitor friend's advice today!

Hope this means she will sleep through when a bit bigger!!!

LOL at having the first time away from Gab Emma! I am like that to, totally clingy with the girls. Just before I had Jazz I was admitted to hospital overnight for a bad bladder infection and when they told me I had to stay overnight, away from Gemma, I cried! I blamed it on pregnancy hormones at the time, but the truth is I cannot stand to be away from her!!

We had a good night again, up 3 hourly and we've cut it down to 30mins now, bottle, half way nappy change, more bottle, burping in between and down again. Corey is taking miss Gemma to see his dad this afternoon so I can sleep without fear of having my face drawn on in pen by Gemma while I nap!LOL! SHes obsessed with pens at the moment!

I was feeding Jazz this morning and Gem was cracking up. I knew she was getting tired so I tried to hurry and the next thing I know shes asleep on the rug in the living room hugging her baby!

YAY Charlie!!!!!Woohoo Tegan I bet your starting to feel kinda normal after that amount of sleep! I'm about to join the gym to, but Corey's made me promise I won't go till after my 6 wk check as after a c/s your supposed to wait that long, but I feel great, just damn flabby! My boobs and tummy are looking seriously sad! This maybe TMI but I swear my boobs look like they belong to one of those women you see on the national geographic channel!LOL!To much sag!

    Hi everyone!!!

Katelyn's eyes seem to have cleared up but she is still very blocked up with her cold and has a nasty cough now. spoke to my OB and he said it would be fine to give her a little bit of panadol but it went straight through her. He said if she is no better over the weekend to take her back to the peaditrician for him to have a look at her. She is feeding well still which is a relief (she's a little piggy when it comes to feeding) had problems BF with my DS its good to have a baby that feeds well.
