    Happy birthday Willow!!!

I hope you have a wonderful special day!

Saffi - Don't stress about solids yet, maybe just leave it for another few weeks or so. L sounds like he is doing fantastically without them anyway!

Mo - Glad those nap vibes came through

Kim - So how are you feeling this early on?

Saffi i wouldnt be to fussed if L doesnt want solids. He will be getting enough from milk. Jasmine isnt on solids at all yet. Wont have a bar of them and she is growing very nicely! Glad DH is going well with L through the day.

Trish so far so good...feel great, not sick (and hoping it keeps away). Going well...but also only early days so ask me again in a few weeks!!

Happy Birthday Willow I hope you have a great day.

Chelsea seems better today....was sick at FDC yesterday...but lastnight she refused her milk...and she didnt vomit through the night. However this morning she polished off her bottle then the remaining 70mls of Jasmines! Lil piggy :P

kim - you are a fertile machine! congratulations on the little speck

saffi - james hates practically any food i let him 'try'. he mostly likes to play with it but will shudder, drop his jaw and gag... 'aaahghgh'..... the last two days he has had a melon ball sized piece of avocado to play with/eat but he just slimes it all back out.

in other news - he has been interested in eating more often, so he's been pigging back the rice/corn farex twice a day.

still no teeth. still no sleeping through but... yanno, what else am i here for but to hover round his cot at night *eyeroll*

trish - glad the mood bone sorted itself out (is it like the funny bone, just not funny?)

    Hey girls, I'm back!!

Not going to attempt to catch up, I missed most of the last thread!

Thanks for all the bday wishes, cards etc on FB...had a great bday and L's christening was fantastic too (apart from the inlaws who turned up half way through then disappeared at photo time - they were 'watch shopping'...wtf?? anyhoo).

News around here - days sleeps not so great the last week or so and have struggled with his settling a lot of the time (house full of people including noisy kids most days and two impending teeth don't help ) Having most success with a nap between 9-11am and then again at about 2-4pm. Means he's awake for longer in the middle of the day than I'd ideally like, but if I try to put him down then he won't have a bar of it.

He's well and truly on solids now - up to 2 meals, breakfast and dinner. He HATES baby porridge. Gagged and carried on and spewed the first time I gave it to him. So have since mixed it with apple and he is much better. Loves his vegies at night and probably up to about 1/4-1/2 cup. Has had potato, sweet potato, pumpkin and baby peas so far.

Bottom two teeth nearly through! I'd say they'll pop within a few days..

He started babbling - said 'mama', 'dada' and 'nana' all for the first time on his christening day and now he says them all the time!

Still commando crawling and rocking back and forth on all fours. In the last few days he's gone half way from all fours to sitting (iykwim??) so not sure how long it will be before he can do that on his own.

So far his development is a bit more advanced than his sister - he's reached every milestone a month or two before her. I thought boys were supposed to be slower? Guess they really are all different and develop at their own pace.

**ETA: This just in - we have a tooth!! Another to follow shortly I think...

Hey everyone, long time no see!

I've been so, so busy with my two! Harry had an accident the other night and we spent the night at the children's hospital but thankfully it wasn't too bad and he's fine now! He's going great guns - not crawling yet though but loves rolling around the place - surprising how far the little man can get! No teeth yet - looks like he will be like his sister and a late bloomer in that department.

Anyone else dealing with eczema? Harry has had a bad flair-up and I took him to see a paediatric acupuncturist today....I'm hoping it will help him out. He's OK within himself but keeps scratching himself so it's obviously itching. She seemed to think the immunisation could have sparked it off *hangs head* I feel awful now!

Emily is also doing great - her stubborness over sleeping seems to have vanished recently and she'll happily take herself off to bed or ask to be taken to bed. It's really cute.

Happy Mother's Day to you all!

    And WOW - Kim, congratulations!

I will definitely try and get in a bit more, I hope you're all doing well and your bubs are happy and healthy! xx

    Happy Mothers Day everyone

I had the best day! A sleep in, breakfast in bed, a gift voucher for a facial and pedicure, lunch out, an afternoon nap, and dinner out. Bliss!

Went and checked out another day care centre on Friday. I have been on the wait list there since July 07, or I thought I was! Noone explained to me that with ABC Centres that you need to complete a big enrolment pack to get on their wait list. Anyway, have it now and will fill it out. They do have a full time place available right now but I don't want to put him just yet. Also it is in the city and hence costs a lot more than in the suburbs. Anyway.....

Nothing much else happening. Full week at work ahead.

wow i havent been in here for a few days and there is a stack to catch up on.
Kim- congratulations on your BFP, how are you feeling? any m/s?
Willow happy belated birthday! and yay on a first tooth!

Hi Claire- its been while. omg what happened to harry? glad he is ok

We've had a busy few days. picked up the keys to our house last Thursday, then headed down the coast to my gf's for her wedding. That was on friday and it was such a great day/night.
us girls had a relaxing night before the wedding, very chilled morning of and getting the photos was lots of fun too! (was at woollongong so we were going on rock cliffs and all!)
Stayed there the night, came back on Saturday eager to see my lovely boys who i had been away from for close to 48hrs. surprising how many times u stop and think how weird it is to not have them around you! back when i was pg and asked to be BM i figured Tyron would be coming everywhere with me (because i'd be BF) just goes to show you never really know how things pan out.
Then DH got stuck into demolishing parts of the house.
i had the most freakish thing happen to me with the house, i found a photo on the ROAD and its 3 men a very old pic. i got strong vibes about the guy on the left instantly. To the point i had tears and wrote a few words down whilst driving home that jumped out on me....... im lucky to have the forwarding address of the lady we bought the house off to try and find out more. i just have a feeling this may be her husband, he passed away unexpectdly in Feb this yr and this is why she sold.....
Today we had our families come over to the new place, took the bbq over and had lunch on the grass of our front yard and it was PERFECT. such a great day.

Tyron has 4 teeth now, 2 top and bottom. he does the cutest little screw up nose thing i think i must do it to him when i smile and now he copies it! He is still rocking back and forther and sliding backwards but he's quiet content with that cause he still gets around everywhere eventually.

It was this day 2yrs ago that we bought little Nixon home from hospital. my god how much our lives have changed in just 2 years. and how much of a character he has become.

Nic - He's OK but I put his baby seat on the kitchen table because he was fussing and I was rushing to get the dinner ready as we had rellies arriving.......the seat had rubber feet so I thought it would be stable but I didn't take into account Emily giving it a helping hand off the table. Result - slight fracture! Was absolutey terrifying but to look at him you wouldn't even know it happened. Thankfully it wasn't any worse....

That's some weird feeling! Anyone watch Sensing Murder???? I love that program even though it gives me the heeby geeby's!
