    Morning all!

Had a great day at the expo yesterday. Got heaps of free samples and discounted stuff. Didn't get as many brouchures as last year, but then again wasn't setting up a nursery and getting ready for baby. L stayed at home and I definitely was in the minority of those without bub or bump.

L tried a new food today, dogfood! One of my dogs left a good-o on the floor and I didn't see it until I checked out L's mouth. Not really the introduction to new tastes that I had planned.

Lunch at the ILs today. L just down for his morning nap and DH not out of bed yet. Might just lie down on the lounge and see what happens.

    Have a good day.

    Hi everyone

Brissie was just gorgeous! Loved it, not to mention DFO (twice)! Went to Surfers and to Australia Zoo. Also Currimbin Wildlife Park. The engagement party turned out to be a surprise wedding on Margate beachfront - and that was beautiful!

Harry is definitely teething, though still no teeth to speak of! He's been in was us for the past two nights and clamped on the boob. Also he's feeding to sleep during the day and when I pop him off - he wakes up! Grrrrrrrr - DH is out with both the kids so that I can have a break.

Off to get some cleaning done before they get back.

Went to beading class in Redcliffe whilst away, really good fun!

    Hello,

wow it feels like ages since I've had a chance to catch up in here!
I've been kept busy with the new house plus packing etc etc. DH & I spent all of Saturday at the house just cleaning! all the trades dont give a rats and creats big big mess.
anyway so thr painting is coming along, they will be there tomorrow and tues then off for a week until the kitchen starts to go in and then have to return to finish.
The built in's went in on Friday and the carpet gets laid tomorrow. more electrical work was done today by a friend of ours
there is still a stack to be finished off but pretty content to have them finished once we are in. we are prop getting a removalist for the 12th, for all the big stuff and we'll take over all the boxes etc.

Boys: are both well. they have been having lots of fun at the house, unfortunatley coming home filthy and creating loads and loads of washing for me lol.
Tyron is pushing through tooth 8 at the moment and the sneeky bugger leans over your shoulder for what u think is a cuddle and then bites down and OUCH he's got fangs!
I'm amazed he is still not crawling the "offical way" seings he got up on all fours from 6months and has been a rolly polly for ages and then slithered backwards for a while, then about 3 weeks ago learnt how to go forwards so i think he figures he doesnt need to crawl he still gets everywhere his way!
He pulled up onto his knees for the first timr yesterday but then fell and now has a nice big egg on his head.
Took Nixon's dummy away about a week ago, he is coping well, had a few uneasy nights but the last 2 nights he has slept through without waking.

Beading class Claire! what did u make?

    hi all

have been MIA coz this little hurricane has been keeping me busy. wowsers.

so, the sleep disturbance was fair enough, kiddo pushed through TWO teeth at once. Drool and poo central (just like all the books say). he's almost back to sleeping through again (9.30-3.30) last night.

he loves vocalising to the radio at the moment - if it's a rock song he will just yell in a moderately melodic fashion. the lady singers get squeals. mum said i did that too.

in other news... eating heaps, climbing on everything, practising the one-hand walking round his playpen.

i read no-cry sleep solution but j sorted his kit before i really needed to do anything new. thing is, lots of it i was trying already. the lovey has helped (wear it down my top for a bit when i remember).

rebecca - cold hands aren't so much of a drama, it's only when their core gets cold. jj had cold hands in summer and the doc said it's no big deal, in fact they can cool themselves via arms and hands. if they're blue and icey, different story. feel the tum, if that's toasty, it's no drama.

julia - your express thing should be there today. dh took it to work and didn't mail it until thursday!!!
also, if taking him to bed is all that's working, then that's what you do for now. the no-cry sleep woman had a baby co-sleeping and waking HOURLY to nurse... fark! reading it made me realise that j is totally normal with his waking patterns.

with j, if he needs resettling at night, i take him back as close to sleep as i can before i put him down, either boob or bouncing on the fitball with dummy. they are way more needy waiting for teeth to pop through so i wouldn't despair just yet. i thought my good sleeper was gone forever but it seems he's back now that the fangs have popped.

he's covered in porridge so i'd better go...

You know the sad thing Ange....DH REALLY did think that I set my alarm just for that! And whats worse - he asked me last night if I would set it even earlier so that we could....kinda takes the sponteneity out of things doesnt it??
Yeah wasnt happy at all about MIL being there - but too late now to do anything. One of the first photos we have of Caitlyn is DH carrying her all wrapped up still covered in goo with MIL peering over the top with her claw-like fingernails near C's head! And if you ever saw this woman nails you would know what I am talking about!! They are over the top long - I think they look hideous!
Saffi- I LOVE the photos of Caitlyn. I am so glad my mum went overboard and spent the money - at least I didnt have to. this is her first grandchild so money is no problem for her at the moment.
No I am no longer wrapping Caitlyn. I just decided one night a few weeks ago that enough was enough - I was struggling to get her wrapped and she just kept getting out so I suffered through 3 nights of VERY little sleep and then on the 4th night - she slept almost all the way through!! Woohoo. So no more wrapping here. She is rolling now from back to belly and absolutely HATES being on her belly so that wakes her up and normally me going in and rolling her back over wakes her up enough for her to decide she is hungry so then she gets a feed. I can't wait until she learns to roll from belly to back and doesnt need me to roll her back!
I hope everyone else is having a good day! MWAH

8 teeth!! Holy cow - I am still waiting on number one!!! Am starting to feel that she is going to be the last to do everything No teeth and still no crawling - although she got up onto her knees for a second or two over the weekend a few times. The little girl at day care who is a few days younger than C got her first 2 teeth over the weekend and has been crawling for a little while now.....my baby is a late bloomer??? I guess she will do it when she is ready.
Good night for sleeping here last night! C ended up having a nap at 440 yesterday and slept until just after 6 so she was up until about 830 and then slept through until 540 this morning. So it was good in one way - long sleep for mum - but no so great cause I had to get up 45 mins later anyway. DH thought I had set my alarm early so we could DTD!!! Grrrr really I had set it because he gets to just get out of bed and go to work where as I get up, have a shower, get ready for work and then get little miss C all ready for d/c and then drop her off and all the rest - as I am sure most of you ladies can relate!
Ambah- Thank you! That pic of C was taken when she was 6 mo. We had it taken in one of those shopping centre stands. I didnt realise it was a competition and she ended up coming 2nd! I didnt buy any pictures because I wasnt there to see them when they came back (was done in Townsville) but my mum went to pick up the free ones and ended up buying a package - $300!!! So glad she bought them!! Anyway - at some stage I hope to put them in the gallery cause they are all beautiful shots of her!
Am at work again - nothing to do as per usual! Just gonna have moirning tea and then sit her and browse BB a bit more - Waiting to hear som egood news from my friend - due in a few days.
OH OH OH - someone on here had some soup while they were preggers and they went into labour - who was it and what was the soup??? My friend is DESPERATE!!!
