Hi!

Cindy - How funny that you got af last night (iykwim?) Means our cycles are about the same anyway so if you were p/g you would have found out in the next couple of days or so!! Very strange!!
Fair enough too!! Thats great that you're going to study in a couple of years!! I suppose the boys don't realise that our life just goes on hold basically while we have babies...there's got to come a time when you want to move on with your own stuff again!
I'm sure I'll be very keen to do that when the time comes!!! I have heaps of stuff I'd like to do - mostly though I've gone back to the idea of Primary teaching...but we'll see how I feel when the time comes!!

Better go, meant to be somewhere in 20min and I haven't had a shower yet - LOL! God, I'm always running late...I just shouldn't turn my computer on in the mornings - LOL!

i just went down to the shops with my kids and as we got back to the car james says mum are those kids in the car by themselves,i look over and there is a little boy about 4 yo and a baby girl probably 1.the windows were down so we waited to see if they were goiung to be on there own for long,it was currently 34 degrees we waited 10 min utes and then i got very angry and got security,while waiting for security to come a young teenage girl came to the car looked in said something to the kids and went back into the shops,WTF!!!!!we waited another 5 mins and security finally came,at that stage i explained the situation to him and drove away.he headed towards the car.
what are people thinking these days!!!!!i hope he took the kids out of the car and called the police.STUPID ****EN MOTHER....

Omg Nikki! Thats terrible!! I hope the security guard got the kids out...

I must say though that I sometimes run into a shop (one I can see in through the window iykwim?) and leave the kids in the car - but never when it's hot - not even warm as I know the car heats up so quickly!! I usually feel guilty even leaving them in the car when I pay for my fuel! LOL!

kristie i ran into autobarn this morning it was 9.30 it wasnt even warm yet and i rang ahead and asked the guy to have the item i was picking up at the desk for me,it wasnt an item i had to pay for ,i was in and out in 60 seconds watching the kids through the doors the whole time,that i think is ok,what angers me is that this lady left her kids in the car for a minimum of 15 minutes in 34 degree heat,who knows how long they were there before we got there or how long it was that she came back after we left.

oh Nikki, thats awful. if you call the racv they will place it as a priority and come and smash the window or break in to the car.

Rachael - Milo started something with knocking teeth!!! Tori was spinning aroudn and making herself dizzy tonight and i told her to stop coz she was making herself sick and when she did she was so dizzy she fell and bumped in to a chair and actually knocked her tooth out! Her front one!!! I managed to put it back in and sometimes that is enough for it to reattach but at the same time it doesnt look like its going to live coz the gum around it and the one next to it has gone black! She has done a really great job and to make it even better- al walked in the front door to it all and i had everything sorted within seconds of it happening and tori was fine and i was about to go get an icy pole for her when al saw it and freaked out - making tori upset all over again!!!!
Oh my god! - looks like we are going to the dentist for an xray on tuesday....

Have a great long weekend all - i hope you have special things planned, i have a party to do tomorrow arvo and then its more packing for us.

omg Cindy! Poor Tori - Your so good to be calm in those situation!!! I think I'd have a panic attack! I hope it's going to be ok...
Speaking of which - not that it's anything as bad - but Dylan slipped this morning and cut his gum right where his top tooth is - it looks like you can almost see the tooth now but it's like half way up the gum if that makes sense?? He slipped and hit our glass sliding door I thought he bumped his forehead but then I picked him up and blood went all over me! Yuck! He's had more accidents already than Louis has had in his whole life!

We went into the city last night...ended up missing the fireworks as it was sooo busy and took us ages to find parking. I stupidly wore my new shoes and my feet were so sore by the end! LOL! I can't believe how many people were in crown gambling! Insane! We went into a club and I felt so old and out of place - LOL! Didn't help that I wasn't drinking. Everything is just so expensive though - we spent $70 and that was just parking, 2 drinks each and getting into the club! Crazy! Got home about 1am so I'm wrecked! Dh is still asleep though....

Rachael - is that ok to bring your TL books to Nikki's party next week??

Just chilling out today...really need to get the housework done can't be bothered! I'll just do it a bit at a time! hehe. Chat later!

Kristie congrats again on the pregnancy, that is wonderful news. LOL at your family thinking you are rabbits. Poor Dylan I hope his gum is ok. I understand when you say you feel old. Last night when we caught up with friends the conversation wound up at freeway traffic and other boring stuff.

Nikki I would have called the cops too. How stupid for someone to leave their kids in the car alone for so long. I hope they were ok. DId you end up going to moomba?

Cindy OMG Poor Tori I hope the tooth re attaches. I would have paniced if that was me.

Rachel How is Milos tooth?

Well went out last night to friends house and we are all pregnant. One friend is 36 weeks, the other 19 weeks. We had a good catch up which was nice. Jordan was so good, he went to bed in their spare room without any hassle. They were all telling us how lucky we are..... lets hope Liam is a easy going.
Went to new display homes today and saw the nicest house, its a porta davies house. SO cant afford it but was nice to dream for 15 minutes.
Having a BBQ tonight which will be nice. Cant be bothered making anything special.
Hope you are all enjoying the long weekend, I have to work tomorrow but am going to think of the extra money I can spend in QLD....... doesnt help too much.

Thanks! It's funny as the silly worries have already set in hoping everything is ok!! You just can't help I don't think in these early weeks!
Bugger at going to work tomorrow Trace!! Yuck! Thats so great that Jordan went to sleep while you were out! Ooh I don't think I could go and look at display homes - I would want one to much and then feel disappointed - LOL!!!

I've been keeping an eye out on rentals on the internet...as everyone keeps telling us how hard it will be to actually get one - we were thinking that maybe when we sign up to sell the house with the real estate we ask to be put as a priority in finding a rental if we go through them iykwim?? Don't know if they can do it but if they want us to sell through them they should be able to do something for us I reckon! LOL! Then at least we know we won't have too much stress...we're thinking we'd try and organise a rental for 2-4 weeks before our house settlement anyway so that we can leisurely move as such and it's not such a big job....
I'm so excited with all that this year will bring but also a little nervous at actually getting it all organised!!!
I'm thinking as the year progresses we will have to slow down a little bit...I was hoping to do 3 parties a week but I've already downgraded that to 2 max...I've found myself a bit snappy with the kids so just need to chill out a bit I think...I can always do more again next year when the next baby gets bigger again...I suppose thats the beauty of these businesses - you can just do as much or as little as you like!

Sorry, I'm writing as I think which always ends up a rambling mess! LOL!
Hope your enjoying your long weekends! Our house is HOT - dh forgot to put the aircon on and I had a nanna nap - there's nothing worse than waking up feeling all stuffy and hot...Chat later!

hi guys,i took the kids on my own to geelong adventure park today,it WAS A BIT TRICKY ON MY OWN,Grant is working everyday this weekend,so i thought stuff this why should we stay home bored so off we went,was a great day,the kids were perfect and the babies loved the water.
tomorrow i am going to take them to the local pool and then moomba in the arvo to see the fireworks.that will be hard but probably worth it.

Well at work today and we havent been able to do anything since 11 as computer down AGAIN. I am getting paid to wait and browse the net so guess will see if it comes back before home time.
Jamie just sent me pics of Jordan in the wadding pool in the backyard, he is too cute.

Nikki - Wow - you're doing so much with the kids at the moment!! Your such a supermum! I hope you had a great time!! I'm glad the kids liked the adventure park - we'll be heading there in a couple of weeks!

Tracey - Geez - your having so many issues at work with computers!! Easy way to earn money though I suppose - LOL! It was definitely a day for swimming!

I had the kids out in the little pool as well today but before that I got the fingerpaint out - They were both in the nuddy and Dylan got it absolutely everywhere!! in his hair etc - so much so that I just brought them both into the shower! hehe. My brother & sil came over and brought us some bedside tables so it was nice to get a bit more organised in our room!! We have so little space it drives me crazy sometimes...

Ok - I know this is insanely eary but what do you think of these names?

I'm not convinced on either yet but there just our initial thoughts...My middle name is Ann and obviously the Michael is after dh....(Not that I think we'll need a girls name picked anyway - hehe)
Michael also likes Jorja for a girl...

Hi girls, Sorry I've been MIA for a while to. Poor little Gussy developed golden staph in one of his incisions from his operation and has been a very sick little boy. On Sunday night a large internal puss filled abscess associated with the infection burst which meant his temperature peaked at 40degrees (!!) and he was in loads of pain over the weekend. We're hoping that means the worst of it is behind us now. Has been a really tough couple of weeks. It will be 3 weeks tomorrow since his operation, so this infection has been a really nasty one!

Cindy, I am sooooo sorry to hear about Tori's tooth. How lucky she had a quick thinking level headed mummy on board. I hope her tooth reattaches. My brother did the same thing as Tori at about her age. Mum said it was one of the scariest times as a mummy.

Kristie, CONGRATULATIONS on the pregnancy. Wow! How clever of you, if my calculations are right you'll have about 18 months between each child. What a great age gap. I love your name choices. I think Ethan is perfect! It fits really really nicely with Louis and Dylan as well as your last name. Lily is a beautiful name as well. On of my girlfriends had triplets (naturally conceived) in December and named one of the girls Lily. So cute.

We think we have decided on DS2's name now. Thanks for all your feedback on the various name options we were tossing about... We've decided on Tobias Rafferty and we'll call him Tobe or Toby (Tobe is apparently the Scandinavian abbreviation for Tobias, rather than Toby). Tis exciting to be able to refer to him as something other than "baby boy" when I'm talking to my tum, or about him to Gussy etc. I've been bleeding heavily again over the past 3 weeks. Must be due to the increased activity levels associated with going to and fro various specialists, hosptial and the ER department etc. So much for the bed rest orders.

Nikki, the adventure park sounds like a lot of fun. Well done managing to do it on your own.

Tracey, how lovely that so many of your friends are pregnant. When I had Gussy I was the only one in my long term buddy circle who was preggers. Everyone else was either single or a couple had 5 and 7 year olds. This time around it's like every second friend is pregnant or has just had a baby. Soo much more fun! xx

Rachael, hope Milo's tooth is ok. What an amazing coincidence that Milo and Tori both hurt their toothypegs in the same week!

Kristie- we had ethan and xavier as our boys names! And we had Jorja - spelt that way too as our second choice for chacha!

Kirsty - sorry to hear poor gussy is having more dramas - nothing goes smoothly for the little bugger! Also sorry to hear about your bleeding too - that must be a stress on it own!

Toris tooth surprisingly looks fine now - i am going to take her for an xray though just incase its not fantastic - not that he can do anything with it but ak=tlest we have an xray to compare to in the future then!

Oh - my chacha is walking! YAY!!! Looks so funny- she is still very wobbly and only doing short distances but its a start!

Nikki- how sis you go with your tests etc for your hip?

kristie i LOVE both of those naes they ae absolutly georgous.i have always loved the name ethyan and lily is such a pretty feminine name.
as for the book look bring as much stuff as you can get hold ofcos i have a vary wide range of ages coming to the party.i am also looking forward t it aswell although a little nervous.grant will be in sydney for the whole weekend( another weekend on my own) and at this stage it looks like a huge crowd coming.it will be fine just chaotic.
Kirsty.i love the name you have chosen.my god little gussy has had it all.has the staph cleared up,it can be a vey nasty thing.i too am praying that this is the last of all the speed humps for this litlle fighter,i there is a god it will be....
well i took james corey and chantelle to moomba last night i also took my neice and nephew and they were all so perfect.it was a great night and chantelle loved the fire works.we sat right next to the river and we all got struck in the face and eyes by the debri none of us were hurt but it was a bit unnerving.i am really pleased we went,we didnt get home till 11 pm and the kids were tired this morning getting them all up and out of the house by 8am.i think we will try to relax a bit for the next week now.

Yep - may be closer to 19 months between Dylan and no3 depending on dates...Just not sure...I'm so excited to have a scan in a couple of weeks just to confirm...
It must be nice for you to have friends all around having babies like Tracey....I've only got one school friend thats had a bub and my best friend is currently ttc...Mine will probably be all grown up when my friends start...LOL.
