Annie that's fabulous news You all must be so excited!

nelle - yeah I think it might be teeth as she just woke up screaming then, I gave her Bonjella and she went straight back to sleep. Fingers crossed she sleeps well tonight.

caddie - that's great your parents are home for a while! Are they travelling ATM? I'll be in the same boat next year when my parents travel around Aust in their caravan. I know what you mean about green pools, I'm hopeless! I was left to look after it while Heath was away and I made a mess of it. He had to fix it up today.

Bummer about the car Nessa. Is that the one you've only recently bought?

Fingers crossed you'll have it back within a few hours, and that it won't cost too much!

belle - you've probably had it a while, but I've just noticed your Av, and it looks great!

    WARNING: HUGE VENT! NEEDS OFFLOADING.
Aaaaahhhhhh, I was reading something on another www yesterday and found out Stemetil is not recommended for pregnant women. What the hell was my GP thinking??????? I rang the chemist and he said the 6 tablets I have taken over 6 days (so one per day) should not have caused any harm in his opinion. I spent the whole arvo bawling my eyes out.
THEN, I go and see my GP last night for an ultrasound referral and she realised I shouldve had a blood test a month ago when I first saw her.
This morning I phone to make an appointment for my ultrasound and get told "you have come at a bad time, it holidays". I am sorry, I will ask my baby to hold off on developing until you lot have your holidays. THEN, I phone Rick to tell him when and what time the appointment is so he can let his boss know as he will need to come home early and I get told I will have to go by myself. $%&#!

Sorry girls for the vent, I don't often vent like that but this time I just needed to!

Vixstar- God I'd be ranting too! I think you should get another GP, one that actually checks what they are prescribing is ok for preg woman! So when did you get in for your u/s? That sad Rick can't go with you, could you take your mum or someone close instead?

Annie- yay on the job sharing. I think part time work is the best, that way you can get that balance of work and home life.

Ness- Any news on your car and what the prob may be?

Caddie- you must be rapped to have your mum and dad around for awhile again. Hope they clean up that green pool ready for you to use in summer!

Not much going on here, Ash had a bad teething episode last night. I'm starting to think these are the slowest molars, her poor gum has been swollen nearly 2 weeks now and she chews away on anything.

Awww Vixstar huge hugs coming your way. Feel free to rant as much as you like, it is absolutely awful that the dr did this. I think you should change gp's and get someone who knows what they are doing. I hope that everything goes ok at the us. As Shell said, is there anyone else who can come. I know it sucks that Rick cant come but maybe if you had someone look after Bailey for you and help look after you and hold your hand? If not just let the US clinic know that you will be bringing in Bailey by yourself they may be fine with it. When I had to have my us they were fine with me bringing in the kids by myself. I really hope that this all gets sorted out for you.

vixstar - I can't believe what that dr did. When my dr was prescribing something for m/s, he checked which category they were, which tells them in big black letters on the screen 'not suitable in pregnancy' (which one of them is stemetil). I was given Maxalon which helped with the m/s, but didn't agree with me for other reasons. Maybe check out that one. As for your dr, well I'd definitely be seeing another one. What a shame Rick can't be there with you for the u/s. Like the other girls have said, can someone else come along with you?

belle - what a big day you've had!! You must be so tired now. We had another awful night last night. I'm starting to think it's more to do with the weather heating up rather than teeth. As I gave her teething relief last night which did nothing. I might try putting her a/c on tonight and see if that makes a difference.

    Hey ladies..

Boy ive missed so much. But will try my best to catch up. Head is still quite numb.

Maz.. i had a manual pump.. an Avent Isis. For the time i was breast feeding i found it great. Id definately wait though until youve been breastfeeding for a few weeks before using it, until your milk is well and truely set in. I dont think it helped my nipples any using it so early.

Vixstar.. thanks hun. Hope you got the winning ticket! Oh dear.. hmm i would be having words with that GP i think. Esp since they prescribed it to you. Thats so bad.

Belle.. just nurophen plus and asprin atm. Im going to see my doctor about them next time im over there as the nurophen didnt really do much. Ive tried so many things in the past and nothing helps. Jesse was pretty good for me yesterday. I just lay on the couch and he sat and played with his toys. Yay for toothies!

    Sharleen.. great news re hubby!!

Shell.. no was just me home with jess yesterday. Grahame has started a new job so is kinda hard for him to take time off. But Jess was pretty good, just played with his toys. Our lounge room is baby proofed and baracaded off so he cant go anywhere but in there. Feeling a bit better today, still not the best though. Thank you. Oh i know how you feel about the terrible molars.. Jesse's gum is the size of a balloon atm.

Nelle.. probably not as much as i should really. Might be my problem. Yeh 39 is what the car temp said. Crazy indeed.

Nessa.. dont dealerships have to give you a 3 month complusory warranty.. kms or not? I know its law in NSW. And they have to fix anything that makes it unroad worthy.. and that sort of thing is dangerous not to have fixed.

    Anna.. YAY

My head is killing now. Went to a parenting expo today which i really shouldnt have.. silly me.. so am going to lay on the couch for a bit. Stupid head.

Jesse had climbed up onto the lounge and was playing with them!!!!!!!!!! First time he has climbed up there!!! Dear oh dear!

thank you all so much again for your advice.
I bought one that has a light blue base and attatchments. I had a manual one but I get arthirits in my hands and they were killing me after wards. this one is battery and power operated...cheap and nasty (just like me ) $19.95 plus $16 postage
My BIL and his wife had a m/c yesterday at 12weeks so they wer ein having a D&C today. BIL aske dme not to ring his wife so was bit upset with him as she was the first one to ring me when I m/c the twins..hmmm IM over alot of things atm, so over bull$hit its not funny!

Maz- Why did he ask you not to ring his wife?
The electric pump sounds good, I have a manual one but it was annoying but it did come in handy those first few weeks. And I go with what Sharleen said, i remember some days Ash would be wanting a feed every hour than other times she's go ages in between, I just went with what she wanted and it helped build my supply.

Kell- oh god, sounds like you have an evil kanevil (sp?) stuntman there. And what are you doing rushing round a parenting expo with these migraine attacks? Naughty (smack on the hand)

Ness- I never trust mechanics, I think cause we had a real dodgy one once so now I'm always sus. The one we went to once tried to tell us my car needed this part, gonna cost over $400, so we thought we'd ring round find cheaper and in doing so found out the year of my car didn't even have that part!

Maz - honey - If I do end up having another bubba I have decided I will demand BF, reasons for this is at my hospital when I had Julia they told me BF every 4 hours and I only used the Breast Pump once and my supply was very low and didnt increase at all. I had a private lactation consultant and did everything I could possibly to up my supply but it didnt work. So if you dont want to BF on demand I would BF every 2-3 hours at the beginning to up your supply so it comes in good and continue to use the pump especially in the hospital to stimulate your nipples. Great you bought one chickie! Hows the octupus in the garden tonight? And mmm not impressed re your BIL... as I said on the phone. Hope your Sis is ok though.

Anna** - mate, I hope you are ok, im so worried about you and your chest pains... please let us know how you are.

Kel - hope you feel better soon, where was this parenting expo? is it on this weekend too? Jessee's a cheeky babe today heh!

    Shell - how ru

Sharls - good Idea about MSN chat!!!

So girls when do you want to have the MSN chat?

BBL for more personals gotta take the TV of DH hes hogging it watching Cricket - India vs Aust ODI.

Ness, that's great that your doctor seems to be caring - take all the help you can get is what I reckon! Have a great day at the wedding tomorrow.

That's so sad Maz. Do you think your SIL requested not to talk to people? Perhaps she's one of the people who like to sort things through in their head before they're ready to talk? Maybe you can send something to show that you care and are thinking of her, and are there when she's ready to talk?

Anna, hope you're okay sugar sugar, hope your silence means you're taking some lovely time for you.

Kell, that's awesome about the climbing - does he know how to get down though? River climbs up stairs, and falls down them, babies are a bit slower to learn how to get down from places it seems!

We had thunder and lightening here tonight, not much, but it was very loud and close! And then it just suddenly stopped. Perhaps too many people praying 'God, please not now, the cricket's on!'
