    Hey everyone!

The paed said Ryan is one healthy and overly happy bub! He was blowing bubbles, talking, laughing, trying to crawl and pulls himself up to stand up, and was doing everything he does at home (last time he just sat there like a lump so I'm glad he showed off this time!). The paed was impressed and told me not to worry about him not rolling yet he seems more intent on walking lol. He has a slightly big noggin and is a bit chubby but still in normal range, he's 7.6kg, 63cm and 42cm noggin.

Luckily I rung the new dr surgery I been seeing and they had an appointment there and then so I took him straight over for his needles. He was tired and hungry so was crying before he got in there but 2 full bottles later (and he kept it down the porker!!) he was back to being all happy. The dr told me to keep stuffing him till he stopped crying I didn't really think 2 bottles were necessary but he slept through one this morning and he was very happy!

The paed gave him some water on a spoon and the way he was eating his hands and mimicing the paed eating and would try and eat anything you put near his mouth he said to try him on a bit of farex now because he seems ready so will try him on one serve this arvo and see how he goes.

I have read everyones replies and welcome jas! Just thought I'd drop in a update and now I think while I have the day off work and ryans asleep that I'll go join him! Also the last time I did this big long post to everyone the thread self destructed and was closed LOL.

So I go to post and the threads just closed hahaha can't win

Hi Jas - we often meet at Garden City so that would be nice and close for you. LOL To send a PM, go to User Profile and select Private Messages from the drop down options.
Rebecca - thank God for e-Bay. From the sounds of it there is nothing out there expect dirt. Shame the postage makes things so expensive.
Viv - doona on the floor - great idea. Our house is totally floorboards so when he rolls there's nothing to cushion his head either. M&M cookies - yummmmmmmm.
Celtic - great news about Ryan. GL with the farex. I am sure he will love it.

Gloat time. I have the best DH ever. I was sitting on the couch earlier, boob out feeding L when there is a knock at the door. Standing there was a delivery person with a bunch of lilies - my favourite! I feel like a right sod as I haven't bought DH anything, not even a card. I am intending to do a special meal - you are all my witnesses if DH asks, ok? Was thinking about making chocolate dipped strawberries.

Anyway, L is down again, so might get some housework done.

Celtic Way to go with Ryan - big boy!!! We keep getting told that C is "fat" by people who see her - but I dont think she is and the Doc has never said anything. Will see how much she weighs tomorrow! Lady at daycare says its good that she has a bit of extra padding - if she gets sick - she has reserves!! When she was 3 months old she was 60.5 cm long - I think she might be a tall one - god forbid she gets ducks disease like her mother!
Julia I have just noticed that GORGEOUS picture of Max in your ticker!!
Can youi tell that I am sitting here at work waiting for people to post in here so that I can respond! Am tired of having nothing to do at work and so bloody much to do at home!!
Saffi Dirt and cows baby....dirt and cows! Whenever someone comes in to the office here they ask " much rain". I mean really people is there ANYTHING else to talk about!!!! Yes it is a bit of a pain when it comes to postage of things - mainly the bigger things. I am looking also at getting ahigh chair pretty soon. Lil miss c likes to look about and her swing is too low I think. I REALLY want one of those activity centres but will just have to wait till I can get some time off!

    hi all.

My little boy isnt very well today. Seems so quite which is completely not like him and has been really lethargic. Had to run out for half an hour this morn to the Big W sales, but since then he has just been laying on the lounge (never seen him like that before!) Chels i sfine for the mo though.

Jas - We meet the first Thursday of every month, usually at GArden City if you can make it! PM any of us Brissy girsl and we'll give you the details, although like someone said, I think you need a certain amount of posts before you can PM. Just ask on here if you want any details.

Saf - WOW, what an amazing DH!!! My DH is pretty good too, but he would never think to get flowers delivered! NEVER! Anyway we decided not to do Valentines this year. Money is better spent elsewhere at the mo.

    Hi everyone,
Wow what a day! We have been so busy. It may just seem busy because we haven't had a lot of sleep last night. Hubby sliced his finger open at dinner time (trying to cook for us) so we had to go to the emergency room. Sat there for 3 and a half hours. Anyway had dinner at 11.45 and went to bed. Ethan started his day at 5.30 and we have been on the go ever since.

Just got back from having his injections. Ethan has nevery screamed so loud or for so long. I think he has forgiven me because he is now happy and kicking around in his cot (he should be asleep).

I am a bit excited. Just got a delivery of our new cloth nappies. We are giving the Hautes ones a go. Can't wait to try them.

Anyway I will stop boring you all and try and get Ethan to go to sleep.

    Have a great night.
