LMAO Marydean!!!!!! Oh no are they staying with you? I always get that sprung on me at the last moment and have to run around trying to tidy up the house so it looks half decent!

Hayley - I only dress Will in his fancy pants when we are going out - at home he just wears gro-suits. I will have to get him some more soon though, he keeps growing out of all his clothes. He is into 00 for the closed foot ones but he can still fit 000 for the short leg/arm summer ones.

MD, good luck with the in-laws. Mine are great but perfectly fit the saying 'its good to see them, and good to see them go' lol.

Well, it finally happened. I bounced him up into the air and he puked. Right down my cleavage.

    hello ladies
had a nice day at the doco. lewis was well behaved- just chucked him in the hab for a while and when he got tired of that gave him a quick feed and that seemed to settle him. for some reason i just can't stop eating crap lately. i'm so lazy! went through maccas drive through on the way home. is anyone else like that?

arte- v funny song, my dp changes the words of all songs- but they usually end up very rude iykwim???

renee- can't believe you've finished your xmas shopping!!! i've done nothing. hope you had a nice walk with rory and dwayne.

sherie- i understand why you don't drink. i'm really over it myself. i don't mind the odd glass of wine here or there but my problem is i am a bit 'all or nothing' about things in life...i have trouble just having one iykwim? so it's usually best just to have none..

md- how long was E last time you measured?? all the babies in here seem to be very long. maybe we'll have a basketball team one day lol. bad luck on the in laws. if yours are anything like mine i feel really really sorry for you!

hayley- i don't think you can buy the doco anywhere in australia yet. it's a shame cos it is good. your little yellow outfit sounds sweet. i love yellow atm! did you get it from pumpkin patch? only reason i ask is cos i was in there the other day with my friend who has a little girl and there was lots of bright yellow stuff. so pretty! i get girl envy when i see all the girls' clothes. boys' cargo pants just aren't as exciting iykwim???

noni- bummer about your windscreen grrrrr

well i've just been called up by the lady that run our pre natal classes asking dp and i to go into her class tonight and talk about how we've been going with our bubs at home. i'm a bit scared cos i don't really like talking in public but it should be ok! i'm a bit anxious about telling them we co-sleep as i know some people have mixed opinions on it. oh well!!

Gracie - how exciting! I hope it's not too nerve wracking for you. I wish we'd had someone come in to talk to us when i went to my first antenatal class. Glad you enjoyed the doco. I don't know too much about it.
Arte - eeeewwww - not the cleavage spew!!!!!!!!
Leanne - hope you enjoyed your 'mumma time'.
noni - i don't really have a routine for Hannah either, 'cause we have been in and out of the car doing school drop off and pick up. Might try to establish one while Jess is on holidays - but even then - i'm not going to stress about it
renee and Marydean - you're right MD - i've got some christmas crafts and cooking planned for the girls, and then we go down to Surfers Paradise for 2 weeks after Christmas - can't wait.
Hayley - I tend to agree with you about dressing the bubs in practical, comfortable clothing. I've seen so many cute outfits that i've thought would look lovely - but when i feel inside where the embroidered picture is they're all scratchy - or they might have big buttons on the back that will dig in when she is in her capsule.
Sherie - Hannah woke up after about 20 minutes in her cot I'm having real trouble keeping her asleep in her cot. She wriggles and squirms around and it's usually because she is passing wind.

jaz- i am a little nervous actually!! have just been thinking through what i might talk about...i'm thinking breastfeeding, sleeping, going out with bubs etc.
i agree with you about the clothes thing. i buy all these cute little shorts and pants etc. but i usually always end up using either bonds or pumpkin patch jumpsuits. they're just more practical and easier to change nappies in. i hate when tops ride up his back too, it's so annoying!!

i can't stop eating chocolate. what is wrong with me???

OMG JaZmum! your ticker has got me in tears!!!! Its just beautiful You have a beautiful family

Just had a family friend knock on our door and drag me out to the car LOL! There was a outdoor play set with little slide, stairs etc for sale around the corner from me for $80, apparently it was worth $200+. We had to beat of a lady from a 2nd hand shop with a stick almost haha. My friend went half as she wanted to get Rory a gift so we only ended up paying $40! Whoohoo! She said you can add on more parts too.

I had 3 parcels delivered today, im so naughty teehee

thanks Katie and Renee I took soooo many photos - couldn't get one of Hannah smiling though. I've got to pick up the prints from Harvey Norman tomorrow, and then send them out with the Christmas cards. I've sent a photo each Christmas since Jess was born, and many people have told me they look forward to seeing the photo.
Renee - we have one of those playsets - Santa gave it to the girls when Jess was 20 months. they still climb all over it now -so i'd say $40 is money well spent!!

Jazmum - they are gorgeous!! Katie stops smiling the moment the camera comes out, have to be really quick to catch one.

Renee - well done on the playset, that will be heaps of fun when Rory is a bit bigger.

Gracie - I haven't been eating that well lately either. Keep having chocolate cravings. Good luck speaking at the class tonight. We had someone come in and do a breastfeeding demo - she squirted DH from a couple of metres away!

K has outfits that are just for home and others that are for going out. The ones that are really hard to put on don't get used that often though. I've tried to dress her in anything that were presents from people when they see her.

MD - good luck with the inlaws!

Arte - K puked down my cleavage a few weeks ago and then gave me one of the biggest grins she had done so far, so cute.

Renee well done on the payset. I love getting parcels, I got one today and am expecting another tomorrow.

Gracie, GL tonight. I cant stop eating chocolate either and have been really bad lately, I am glad I am not alone. Are you BF? Maybe our bodies are needing the smooth chocolate for feeding (I am looking for justification lol).

Jazmum I might run into you and your girls when your in Surfers, I live just outside Surfers and we go in there for a swim quite often.

Arte I have had the clevage spew too, only it wasnt my child so it was even worse! PMSL at your DH, mine does it too- must be a male thing lol.

Hayley I love all the little girls clothes and get envious of the ladies in the babies department buying all the pretty pink things and cute little headbands.

MD How come the inlaws are so early? That would annoy me (I am such a planner though). Hopefully its not to stressful for you.

Noni well doen on the powder, it sounds divine. How did you go getting the windscreen fixed?

Leanne bummer about the speeding ticket, last thing you need at Christmas is more bills.

Sherie Logan loves the shower, we have hardly used his bath. He looks so cute in your ticker pic.

Not alot going on here today. Logan had a big sleep on the lounge this afternoon so I sat back and watched about 5 episodes of Gossip Girls and ate way to much chocolate. Thankfully there isnt much planned this week.

Renee- We too have one of those play sets for the boys they love it. About the speeding fine, no I did not realise it was there stupid me for not looking.
MD- Bummer on the inlaws. As you all know my MIL's main mode of transport is a broom stick ...lol...

Well mumma time was great. I got some house work done that I had wanted to do as I dont seem to get stuff done when they are all awake. lol...
Christmas shopping- I wish I was more organised like most of you mummys. I still have heaps to do.
Well I am off to bed. Good night all and sweet dreams...

    Morning everyone ~

I have an instant family on the way, My brother's 2 girls from his first relationship are coming from Sydney to live with us next week - Thier mother can't look after them anymore because of reasons i wont get into.

My brother & i had a D&M last night about how he and my SIL can't handle them on top of the 4 girls they have now, they're not in the financial position to take them, they have some really bad behavioural and emotional issues and they both have hearing problems so they need alot of attention, My brother works really long hours and SIL totally freaks out at how badly they behave but we agreed anytime DF and i need a break they would take them for a while. Pretty scary! but we all think it's probably best for them.

I'm going to be shopping like crazy getting rooms set up for them and all the chrissie stuff.

BIL comes to stay for 3 months in Jan too so we're going to be a very busy household! ~ Wow anyone else need a foster parent for a while? I'm on a roll.

Scarlet is giggling like crazy at everything now - it's so funny, she cracks me up and then gives me funny looks because i'm laughing so much... This routine has definately stuck! I'm getting loads of sleep and loving it - I can't believe i tried so hard to get her into a routine then when i gave up she made her own.

I have to go back and read through again - I've forgotten what else i wanted to say. lol.

The girls are 11 and 9... It is alot to take on but it should be fine... they've stayed with us for long periods of time before and we managed them pretty well but they are very very *naughty* kids & they're used to corporal punishment so it's hard to find alternative ways to disipline them that are actually effective... I think most of the behaviour issues stem from the hearing problems, So i'm going to get that sorted first... can you believe the youngest tested 70% deaf and has never been taken to a hearing specialist!?!. I can't wait to get them to be honest, They deserve alot more then they have now and pretty soon it will probably be too late to help them grow up right.

Wow gracie, how exciting for you guys being able to give advice to all the new mum's & dad's - I hope it went well. I'm eating way too much junk food too, I only had my last 5kgs to go, it just wasn't budging so i gave up... I had apple crumble for breakfast yesterday lol.

Renee ~ sounds like you got a mad bargain on the playset... aw, it's going to be so cute when all our bubs are running around the backyard.

JaZMum ~ Your ticker pic is SO beautiful! I'm with you on the comfy clothes, i hate when the straps on the capsule are rubbing on Scarlet's shoulders so when we go out now she's usually just in a summer jumpsuit.

Don't worry Leemar, I'm no where near done for chrissie yet either. We'll get there!

Art ~ I can't believe they forgot to do up your wheels!!! That's so bad, Did you get anywhere with them? I hope you charge them for the repairs! Lmao @ your DH's nursery rhymes.

Cally ~ Did you enjoy baby massage?.. Is it worth learning?

LOL MD goodluck with your inlaws! I hear you on not being able to fit bub in the bath... or the carseat... or on the change table... well, not quite that bad but it's becoming a tight squeeze!!! I think we have a tribe of ballet dancers, supermodels and basketball stars on the way.

*hehe* Hayley, i thought like your SIL while i was PG... bet ya $10 she changes her mind after a week! ARGH! Scarlets wardrobe is overflowing with nanna dresses too! I don't think she has worn any of them yet.
