Anyway they broke her water this morning, just had a call from the MIL who is in the labour room, she is in lots of pain poor thing, but bub should be here by tonight. Gosh I am so excited!! Sorry just had to tell someone hehe

How exciting! Good luck to her. Does she know the gender or is it a surprise?

MD - how is the bebepod going? I feel very weird when I see the belly buddies thread.

Hayley - Hope you become an auntie soon

K is helping me type - she's not doing very well though!

Art - I think I would still call you Art if I saw you IRL.

I have an overtired baby on my hands. She had lots of awake time at Nan's and I was hoping she would fall asleep on the way home - which she did for 15 minutes. Then she had a power nap during the last feed. Think it might be an early night tonight!

Lp well done on getting into the courses. How did the needles go?

Jazmum Logan poo's everyday, man are they stinky.

Noni I am loosing a tone of hair. I have to vacume the bathroom everyday and the bin is full of hair. I am also finding it all of Logan all the time.

Hayley good luck to your SIL. How exciting. I miss being pregnant too, I swear everytime I go to the shops every where I look is some cute little bump. The same thing happened when TTC.

Cally I hope K sleeps soundly tonight. Logan didnt sleep much today and went to bed earlier then usual.

Arte I was wondering what to call you lol, I was picturing myself going up to every lady with a pram and saying "are you Arte" lmao. You look so cute in that pic...very nice bump.

Had lunch with a friend today (lucky me having two unch dates this week). It was nice to finally get out of the house and Logan was so well behaved. So whats everyone up to for the long weekend? I have no plans DH is going away so its just me and Logan.

Hi everyone Thanks for the congrats... had a massive post but it got eaten so i'll re-do it in the morning.. lol

Our needles went well, She had a bit of a scream... & we had to wait for 2 hours in the surgery because they were so busy! Scarlet was awesome though.. She only started get grizzly toward the end but was all smiles for the doctor when she was being weighed & measured.. OH MY GOODNESS she is HUGE! Biggest bub in here i think.. 8.2kg's & 71cms... But she's super healthy.
GP wants me to put her on solids, cut her bottles down to even out the calories & give her atleast 2 bottles of water per day because she's over 8kg's... I didn't really have time to talk to her about it because i didn't want to make the other people wait for too much longer (everyone was frustrated with waiting) I don't know if she meant to cut her bottles down when she's on solids properly or what.. blah, I'll have to make another appointment... lol.

Have all you other ladies seen pictures of one another?

Argh - Have so much i wanted to type but i'm so tired.

... I can't believe how big Scarlet is for her age, I have been imagining all day that she is going to grow up to be this huge tank of a woman & I started worrying myself about it which is stupid because i was a huge bubba & i've never been 'big' as an adult.. tall but not greatly tall... I probably sound a bit shallow but i really don't want her to be this massive mountain woman.. lol.. gee i hope it's just a spurt & everyone else catches up!

Wow! Scarlet must be huge! Don't worry about her being a giant when she is bigger - japanese babies are little buddha's and the majority of them grow up to be very slim. She is going to be model material like her mummy.

    Hi Girls,

Noni- Yep my hair is falling out everywhere my DH has said something to me too about it.
    Hayley- How is your SIL.
LP- Congrats on getting into tafe. Well done to Scarlet what a healthy bubba.
Art- I would love to meet up. How is the house selling going?

Well guess whats been going on since we last spoke. I am off to Melbourne on the 15th March and will be seeing the grand prix on the sunday and seeing the kiss concert on the sunday night and flying home on the monday morning. I think I am more excited about the shopping and going to the casino then anything else. DH is a mad kiss fan as for me they are ok but they have great concerts. Also am finally getting that plasma. Now just have to buy a unit to put it on. DH has not heard any more from his crazy ex. Well I better go and give Olivia a bottle will catch up later with everyone.
    Sweet dreams to all.

does anyone else have a fear of flying/any advise to someone who has one and needs to fly?? i am dying with anxiety about this upcoming trip even though its a short one..
lp - dnt worry about it shes just doing her growing early!! i am sure he means get the solids going and then start cutting the bottles coz she will be hungry otherwise.. wow 2 bottles of water!! re the dr situation next time u waited your time and you have the right to be seen for however long that happens to take! dnt feel guilty about it if everyone is grumpy thats their problem! you'll be leaving afterwards anyway and wont need to deal with what they think hahaha
i understand when u say u dnt want her to be big growing up i dnt think it sounds shallow i know i was bigger growing up and had a hard time and i do worry when i see the rolls appearing on Asha.. just remind yourself when she starts solids you control what goes in and you are shaping her eating habbits.. if you instill good eating and excerisise habbits in her she wont end up a mountain woman lol...
i dnt think we have all seen pics of eachother just those who have pics posted...

LP your not shallow at all. Once she is crawling and becoming more active everything will sort it self out weight wise. I agree with Noni that you waited just as long as everyone else to see the Dr, I am like you though and leave without asking all my questions cause I feel bad for the others waiting. I have only seen pics of those who have posted them in the gallery, its nice to put a face to the name but I understand why some people wouldnt want pics of themselves out in the wild web.

Leanne woo hoo on the trip and the new TV.

Well I am off tobed I think. I am super excited about lunch tomorrow and need some beauty sleep (you watch I will be on here for another half hour lmao).

Wow Leanne, sounds like a great trip you have planned. I am hanging out to go back to Melbourne just for the shopping LOL.

LP, ummm, I wouldn't do what your Dr says with regards to reducing her calorie intake hun, she is obviously meant to be a big bubba and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that - we have to have the really big bubbas and the really small ones and everything inbetween to get the average bubba. I worry that if you do that, you will only make her upset because she isn't going to understand why you aren't giving her a milk feed and milk is the most important part of her diet until 12mths old - no matter what age you start solids. In a few years time I bet she is no where near what you would call 'big', just tall. Get a second opinion if you have to, but don't rush into doing what he said. Over time when she increases her solids intake of her own accord, she will start to reduce the number of milk feeds that she has. And you said it yourself she is healthy, so why muck around with that?

Arte, now I can put a name to the name LOL. Poor Will, I hope he is back to his old self soon.

Cally, how did Miss K settle for the night?

Jaz, Alister is a regular 'once a day' boy with the poos LOL.

Not much going on here today. The kids are starting to get ever so slightly stir crazy, so I am secretly looking forward to school going back LOL. The big news is that DH has his appointment for the 'nick and a stitch' on Feb 12.

ohhh sherie the nick and stitch how exciting lol
lp - do u think the gp ment she will reduce her milk as u increase solids or he said you should start cutting them down? what sherie said kinda made me re-read it and i agree dnt go cutting things out until she gives u an indication thats what she needs or u will have an unhappy bubba.. Asha is eating solids once a day now but she still drinks the same amount of milk its just what she needs..

Wow I'm an Aunty woo hoo! She just had the bub two hours ago, he is 6 pound four (tiny compared to my chubba who was 8p 4!) and just gorgeous. They named him Spencer James. The birth was a bit traumatic for her, they couldnt get him out, and he had the cord around his neck which really upset him alot obviously. They took her to emergency to give pushing one last try and if that failed they were just gonna c section and whip him out. In the end they literally cut her (apparently its a big cut ouch!) and just pulled him out with the forceps because his heart rate was dropping. Then he wasnt breathing well at all so they spent awhile working on him. Maddie wasnt breathing well when she came out and its just horrible watching them gasp for air, so i just burst into tears when they told me Spencer was doing the same. Poor SIL was just devastated, but he is perfectly fine now thank god.

Hayley - Hehe I have a huge bub too and everywhere I go she gets comments like wow what a big baby. I was the chubbiest thing out, as was DP, and we are both healthy sized people now. I dont think you are being shallow, I totally understand what you mean, no one wants their child to be overweight and unhealthy. Also i just read what Sherie wrote, and I totally agree. Get a second opinion before doing anything. Besides chubby bubbys are the cutest things ever!!!!

Congratulations Hayley! BTW I almost wet my pants laughting at Maddy's Fateline sticker LOL!

Rory is only 6 & 1/2 Kgs and still in size 000. He is quite long though so maybe thats why he hasnt put on much weight. Considering he was 9 lbs 3 I thought he would be a big chubba!

Thanks for your comments everyone - I'm starting to feel better about it, I'll wait until she's crawling to see if that makes any difference... Wow renee... 000's! Scarlet was only 6.7lbs & now she's in a size 0! Rory must have done all his growing in your belly :P

    Congratz Aunty Hayley!

Yay Aunty Haley congrats on the birth of your nephew.

Sherie yay to you to on the nick and stitch. How long until school goes back?

I could really do with a few more hours sleep but Logan has decided he would like to play. Hopefully he has a sleep this morning. I really have to get stuck into some housework this weekend, the bathroom looks terrible and I cant remember when I gave the floors a good going over.....what a fun weekend.

    Morning Ladies,

    Hayley- Congratulations Auntie.
Noni- Sorry to hear about DP Job. Dont worry I am sure he will get another one quick enough.

Olivia has the cranks today. I am also thinking I might have to get some 0's as 00's are getting a bit short in length for Olivia.

    Have a wonderful day everyone.
