Wow I'm an Aunty woo hoo! She just had the bub two hours ago, he is 6 pound four (tiny compared to my chubba who was 8p 4!) and just gorgeous. They named him Spencer James. The birth was a bit traumatic for her, they couldnt get him out, and he had the cord around his neck which really upset him alot obviously. They took her to emergency to give pushing one last try and if that failed they were just gonna c section and whip him out. In the end they literally cut her (apparently its a big cut ouch!) and just pulled him out with the forceps because his heart rate was dropping. Then he wasnt breathing well at all so they spent awhile working on him. Maddie wasnt breathing well when she came out and its just horrible watching them gasp for air, so i just burst into tears when they told me Spencer was doing the same. Poor SIL was just devastated, but he is perfectly fine now thank god.

Hayley - Hehe I have a huge bub too and everywhere I go she gets comments like wow what a big baby. I was the chubbiest thing out, as was DP, and we are both healthy sized people now. I dont think you are being shallow, I totally understand what you mean, no one wants their child to be overweight and unhealthy. Also i just read what Sherie wrote, and I totally agree. Get a second opinion before doing anything. Besides chubby bubbys are the cutest things ever!!!!
