Noni NO that is not unfair of you, it's completely fair, you need help and support too, not just to be giving out and caring for everyone else. I hear that you're worried about your exercising, do you think it's worth going and having a chat with your GP (he seems to understand, doesn't he). It sounds a bit like your anxiety is escalating (and you've got a lot more stress with DP at home by the sounds of it) so now might be the time to go and do something about it before you go past the point of being able to do something about it. Make a plan before you hit that point.i understand thats completely unfair of me but its just the way i feel..We all need a little extra support from time to time and now sounds like that time for you. xxx
Noni, I'm glad the mother's group was good, it will get easier and easier each time you go until suddenly you'll realise you have all these new friends!Re all the CSs, reminds me of when I was in grade 12, there were 8 in our French class, and all bar 1 student's parents were divorced! Not quite the national average...
Renee - I totally understand your choice to have the planned cs, I was like the homebirth-hypnobirth-naturalbirth queen when I had DD1 and it only took about 15 hours of hell on earth to beat that out of me once and for all! (LOL) I've gotta say I was pretty damn empowered this time round and lucky things went the way I wanted them to. I must write E's birth story up one of these days, I can't tell you how deeply it has affected me in a positive way. I feel 'healed' in a really deep and fundamental place.
Re the 'this is our baby' moment, it was far more mindblowing for me this second time than the first time, I think I was a bit out of it from drugs and shock with H, it sort of took a few hours to come to grips with having a baby (in fact I remember coming home and still trying to process the fact). Whereas this time round it hit me in theatre, I couldn't believe she was finally here and looked so different to my first baby! LOL! In some ways, even tho the birth was easier, the road to actually holding E in my arms was a lot longer and harder. (*scrabbles for a tissue*) Gee you sure know how to get us all crying Renee!
Leanne, good to hear you're back online and X is recovering well, that's amazing that his finger is growing together like that! Glad you had an excellent time out with the ladies, I sure could do with a dose of that!

Rach, soooo pleased to hear you got some sleep, one good night makes all the difference doesn't it? I've been running myself ragged for quite a few weeks and when I was able to relax again (last week) I had trouble getting enough sleep too. Seem over that now.
Re babyproofing, soooo haven't thought about it yet, i'm sure it will happen when it needs to! H was always good about not getting into things, I think E will be different, already she's so much more fiddly with her fingers than H was! We've had a few firsts this week, she's rolling over like crazy, now wriggles to the top end of her cradle, we had liquid spit raspberries first then a few real pbrrrrrr raspberries, and her latest trick (not one I'm fond of) is she's learnt to make this choking noise by sucking in while holding her throat taut (!) Hope she gets over that one quickly, it's Freaking me OUT!
And just a very BIG WOOHOO! Went up to Sydenee on Sun to collect my new ebay Emmaljunga pram - it's a beeee-yooo-ty! Nearly new because the lady I bought it from was tiny and it just too big for her to heave in and out of her 4WD. Yay for me! Now I just have to work out how to operate it LOL.
ETA Gracie I still have most of the box! I had a lime cream one last night, it was dark chocolate, ooooooh yuuuuuuuuum!
