Sherie & Gracie - LOL @ Menstrual shed! Though I reckon I could do with one of those from time to time, it would need to be airconditioned, have a huge couch (for napping on) and a cupboard full of chocoate and red wine. I wouldn't need to come out for days.
CallyI start to hallucinate after the first hour and half of night shennanigans. Lucky when DH is here we tag team (one of us pats/rocks while the other one dozes) but it is truly nightmarish when I'm alone. Lucky I have my recliner which is still my most favorite thing in the house! Makes it a lot comfier.
We are having exactly the same thing here, it's driving me nuts! It's worse the more determined I am to get things done at home (tried sorting out my paperwork the other day, it took me two days!). *sigh* Funny I don't remember this stage at all with DD1. I think she was more mobile (wriggling) earlier but E just lies there flapping her arms and squawking. Pinky even writes about it:Alister has been quite hard to please lately and I'm thinking that he's just at that stage where he is frustrated with not being fully mobile. Erin was the same and she didn't settle until she started crawling.
There is, for instance, a significant fussy stage - commonly called 'the five-month blues', although it can happen earlier or later and often coincides with teething and separation anxiety, at which time babies are becoming increasingly aware of the world around them: they want what they can see but they can't reach the object of their desire, so they cry! And they will cry louder and longer if they aren't mobile. I read this and thought OMG that's my life right now!
Arte, I'm not surprised you guys are fighting - not a reflection on you, but on the huge (ongoing) stress of making such a big move! Hope you have a happy anniversary together - the first of many back home and happy together!
Renee, Perth is even further from Adel than Canberra is and driving that is not my idea of fun! Hope they all enjoyed the thrills and spills and you'll have him home again soon.
We had a lovely outing to this foresty walk thing near the lake with a halfway cafe stop and then the return walk. Feel like a frumpy old lady though, my poor hips are still pretty weak and sore, I'm pooped after half an hour (at a leisurely pace). I keep telling myself baby steps and soon my body will be strong again. It was a bit exciting though, we came across a black snake on the path! We watched the snake bite episode of Dr Martin last night and I'm pretty sure I dreamed about snakes as well so it was a bit weird seeing one today too!
Gotta gloat too about my ebay loot today, got a FP play mat that converts to a crawling tunnel for $7.50!DH will pick it up later in the week.
