Wow! So many posts! I will try at some personals!

Mamapan and others - in regards to the wrapping Sam was getting out of his wraps too but I know he still needs wrapping as he won't settle without either. I am using the kiddopotamus wraps (excuse spelling) they have two things of velcro on them and he doesn't get out of them. It is really easy and has been great the last few weeks so I would recommend them if you still need to wrap.

Bekz - I have always fed Sam in the dark in his room. I have a comfy chair in there, so I get him up with just the night light on, feed him in the chair and pop him back into bed. He has always gone straight back to sleep after the feed with no dramas. I have had him in his cot from day 1 though because I knew if I had him in my room, he would never leave!!!

Sam is still in 0000's!! You guys are moving great guns!! I think though in the next week or so it will be 000, the jumpsuits are starting to get a bit tighter but actual t shirts and clothing is still okay.

Sam has slept from 10pm til 6am the last 4 nights in a row!! I am so happy!! I am not expecting it to last though, with daylight saving and also he hit 12 weeks this week so I am sure it will all go out the window!! He is talking a lot now and touching and grabbing at objects in his play gym which is great. He really is discovering his hands. We are in a pretty good feed/play/sleep routine. He is feeding around every 3 hours during the day and staying awake for just around 1 hr 15 now at a time. He went to sleep so well the minute the sun went down so as his bedtime is around 6pm, he is a little harder to settle as it isn't dark yet!! We start our day at 6am though.

We are moving next Wednesday! House is almost packed! Problem is, his bedroom at the moment is right next time mine and the new house he is right at the other end of the house! I think I am going to have seperation issues big time!! We are also moving to a two storey house so now in our little house I can always check on him but now I have to go all the way up stairs!! I am sure I will be right after a few weeks! Hope he settles in his new room, I think it is a fair bit lighter than the one he is in now which may affect things.

Jess - hope everything is going okay? I hope you can have a good chat with the gp.

lovely cate - sometimes the feed/play/sleep thing doesn't work and I feel like his cues are slightly changing too! Sam was only staying awake right on an hour, now he is just going past that so I am really trying to re learn his cues again!!

Miss excited - great to hear Ash is sleeping through too!! I thoroughly enjoyed a few glasses of wine with friends on sunday evening! So good to be social again and feel a bit like your old self again!

Sorry to anyone I have missed, trying to get ready to get to the gym this morning, do a load of washing, eat something all before Sam wakes up!! his morning sleep is usually his longest - but as we all know they keep you guessing every day!! Hope everyone is well!

Question - how often are you guys taking your babies to the weighing stations? I last went around 9 weeks and haven't been back, Sam is 12 weeks this week so I guess I should look at weighing him again??

oops, I missed the new thread!

Sorry I haven't been posting much lately. I've been keeping busy sewing nappies and doing stuff around the house. DH's hand is still in a cast so he still can't do anything with Fred and struggles with a lot of the house work. DH nicknamed her Fred cause she stares a lot when she is tired so... 'fred astaire' is what she is called a lot of the time!

Fred is sleeping well at night, from about 6.30 - 11.30 - 4.30 then up at about 7. Feeds during the day are every 2-3 hours and she only sleeps for about 45-60 mins. I've been trying to extend that but not having much luck. I've finally started trying to do some exercise... getting a bit sick of this baby body and feeling the muscle ache today. Lumpy has been at her nana's all week so it has been great to get a good nights sleep without interruptions from her.

I've caught up on all of your posts but don't really have time to do many personals.

jetta - great to hear you are getting some good sleeps at night

Bek - I have a very comfy chair in Freds room so I get up to feed her in that. She stays in her own room all night and after a feed I just pop her back in bed. She gurgles a bit but goes to sleep pretty easily

Mamapan - I have used a sleeping bag for ages, Fred doesn't seem to need to be wrapped but her sister needed to be wrapped until she was about 10 months old. Fred does get hold of her blankets (I put them on as well, she doesn't sleep if she is cold) but I have them tucked in very tight at the end so she can't get them over her head

Ok, run out of time, fred is looking sleepy - need to catch it while I can!

    hi everyone
Ryatha - was wondering where you were!!! sounds like all is going well... love the nicknames for your girls - esp Fred, that is gorgeous and so funny! Jacob also stares off a bitw hen he is tired... i notice he does a lot more of the classic sleep signs than N did (or maybe i didnt notice them with N?). her sleep sounds good esp at night.
Bekz - I sometimes get up and feed J in my glider and sometimes i feed him in bed. but i agree with you, my back is suffering from the sitting in bed feeding... and soon i will have to fully get up as i need to move himout of his moses basket (andtherefore out of our room - sob sob)
Had a pretty bad night last night, think J had tummy ache - he woke really often, had about 5 feeds!!!! was crying out in his sleep too - poor bubba! he is sleeping now so hopefully catching up.
DH is away oversaeas again from toda y to sat eve... luckily my mum has decided to work down here for this week so she will come and stay and help me out.

I knew it was too good to be true! Sam has been so unsettled all day!! Only sleeping for max 1 hour and has been staying awake for up to 2 hours and still not showing signs of tiredness!! Last week he would only stay awake max 1 hour!! Is this the growth spurt at 12 weeks!! He has been very whingy all day too and feeding every 2 1/2 hours or so, well I think he is hungry as he is happy after a feed but he has just been very cranky!! He has been really hard to settle! Has been awake since 1pm after only sleeping 50 minutes and still won't settle! It is driving me bonkers today! I hope this doesn't last. I normally don't use the dummy but I don't know what else to do!!! It sounds like it is the growth spurt but I wondered if it was also that now he has started sleeping through the night he is changing his whole pattern on me!!! It gets tiring trying to settle all day, I don't know how you ladies with several kids do it! I must be just a whimp!!

Perhaps it is to do with daylight saving as well?? Getting up an hour earlier than usual, I mean it does affect us so it must affect them!

Bek - I feed Miss A in bed and I lay her on a pillow while I'm propped up on pillows. I doze off too and am glad it only takes about 10 minutes to feed. I put her in bed next to me in her sleeping bag.

Jetta - I haven't been to weigh Miss A since her 2 month needles. DH and I do a quick weigh by standing on the scales first - take note of the weight - and then hold bub and then minus the first weight to get her weight. Did that make sense LOL. I need to go to bed.
