Just a question guys, what do you guys do if they wake up after only 45 minutes during the day? I am torn between going in quickly to try and get him back to sleep - don't want him to get use to me coming in at the drop of a hat or waiting to see if he goes back to sleep. Normally he doesn't, he just gets more worked up over about 10 minutes and then I go in and I have no chance of getting him back to sleep. Do you guys just get them up or try to get them back to sleep for a little longer. I think this is becoming a habit and I want Sam to learn to go back to sleep as I don't think he knows how to settle himself off..
Just thought I would ask!
Mmm Jetta, I have the exact same question!
I worry that if I go in too soon, she will expect me to respond immediately - I like it that she will lie there quietly for a while - but if I don't go in straight away then she ends up wide awake. And to be honest I don't know if I could get her off to sleep again anyway...

So sorry, not much help but I am interested to see what the others have to say.
